Sri Lanka is a wonderful place, a country so beautiful that the Portuguese sailsmen believed it was the Eden's garden. But it is also a country arising from a recent past so hard and painful with a civil war. The future belongs to the Sri Lanka people, they will be stronger and stronger in tourism in the next decade and people like Sarath are the perfect guides to understand every aspect of this country. He is a gentleman, patient and wise, explaining with the same proud all the aspects of his Nation (cousine, hystory, traditions, religions, nature, sports). We have been guided from him through the Sri Lanka not for a simple holidays but for an immersive and enriching experience.

With some friends we had a 14 days Sri Lanka holiday. Our wish was to visit that beautiful contry, learning about history, culture, way of leaving and last but not least appreciate their spicy food. Sarath is first of all a very kind person and an expert and passionate guide. He introduce us to the “spirit” of Sri Lanka, proposing not only the standard visits, to the numerous interesting historical and nature sites, but also several genuine activities and on the road meetings out of the box. He, and our driver Ranghe, were very carefull to any datail and flexible in respect of the to day to day plan defined with Sarath before our trip. We have just returned from a truly memorable two week tour of Sri Lanka with Sarath and can not praise him more highly. From the moment I first contacted him when planning the trip, he was very responsive and helpful, advising on routes, distances, accommodation and must-do sights. Nothing was too much trouble and his manner throughout was calm, professional and courteous. He was so interesting and really brought the trip alive, with his extensive knowledge of Sri Lankan culture, history, wildlife and nature. He was happy to chat as we drove along, so we learnt a lot about each place and its people as we passed through and his English is impeccable, so no barriers in communication. We moved on every couple of days and covered over 1,000 miles, which could have had the potential of feeling very overwhelming, but Sarath's unflappable nature and smooth organisational skills meant that we were in capable hands. From the first moment when we were picked up at the airport, we felt relaxed and trusted that he would take good care of us (which he did!) The end of June/early July is a very good time to visit Sri Lanka - it's slightly in the off season, so deals are to be found in the hotels and there weren't hordes of tourists at the main tourist sites. There was a little cloud and rain in the South and West, so we stuck mostly to the central regions, where it was dry albeit extremely humid. The highlight of our trip was a safari at Minneriya National Park near Sigiriya, where elephants can be found in huge numbers at this time of the year. We saw around 100 elephants at the watering hole and were just a few feet away from them at times.

My girlfriend and I had the opportunity to visit Sri Lanka in March 2024, together with another couple and we had a blast! We had the pleasure to spend 10 - very intense - days with Sisira, the best guide we could ever ask for: he has been very patient with us, keen on getting us anywhere, anytime we wanted according to our already planned stops. He was also really knowledgeable about all places and local culture, which contributed to make everything just unforgettable! Moreover, the van we travelled on was very comfortable and roomy, allowing us to bring 4 big luggages and 4 carry ons. Simply AMAZING, 100% recommended! Keep up the outstanding job you’ve been doing. We (family of four) planned to go to Sri Lanka and wanted to have a tour guide. We found Sarath’s details on Tripadvisor. We messaged Sarath who came back quickly and provided an itinerary for our holiday. We made a few tweaks and agreed the star of hotel we wanted to stay in. Sarath then provided a formal quote which we were happy with. To book Sarath he wanted payment once we had agreed the itinerary so hotels etc could be booked. We paid via our bank and once payment cleared Sarath sent us the final paid invoice. Sarath is a superb tour guide and is someone who we would highly recommend. His expert knowledge of Sri Lanka, efficiency and his friendly and personable manner are just a few of the reasons why he should be booked. He was attentive to all of us and ensured our trip included all the activities we wanted plus some others on the way. He even arranged for us to visit the Elephant care relief foundation where we fed the elephant called Marlie, and then walked her down for her bath. We even got to wash her with coconut shells and then have lunch on the river bank. Special memories created for everyone. The choice of hotels was wonderful which was reflected in the staff at the hotel and the excellent meals - breakfast and dinner. We knew Sarath would be a great tour guide when he greeted us at the airport with homemade flower garlands which made us forget all about the jet lag! We (two couples) have just finished two spectacular weeks with Sarath and Ranga (his driver). This was our first visit to Sri Lanka - and having travelled extensively across the globe, it’s fair to say that Sri Lanka is one of the best! The people, the scenery, the culture and the quality of hotels and service is excellent. We created our own itinerary from friends who have previously visited - rather than use a travel agency - and we found Sarath on TripAdvisor to guide us for the stay. From the very first communication to meeting at the airport, he always responded immediately, and was super helpful on our suggested itinerary. The large van that met us at the airport was ideal and Ranga was both an exceptional driver and very friendly and super helpful. Sarath suggested some brilliant activities and sites to see as we travelled and has an extensive knowledge of the country and perfect English. The best thing about Sarath was his ability to judge what we wanted to do, when we needed to stop, when we needed to eat - his ability to be flexible with the programme was really appreciated. He is above all, a very lovely, kind, and perfect companion to spend two excellent weeks with - we would recommend Sarath without any reservations .

Sri Lanka did not disappoint. Beautiful people eager to please, stunning views with a range of scenery. I used a travel agency (One and Only) to plan the first part of my trip and on the whole I was pleased with what I saw. I was met at the airport by a super friendly tour guide. They did plan two nights in Nuwara Eliya but one would have been sufficient. Don’t forget to take warm clothes for the mountain area as it was cold and the hotel heater (Araliya Red) was not sufficient to warm the room. I went to Yala national park but was recommended that Udawalawe National Park would have been a better option. I did everything through WhatsApp which was easy and the agent was very accommodating as I did leave things until the last minute.

We booked a roundtrip for 7 days, before we came to Sri Lanka I wrote Sarath the routing and all the hotels we booked, so when we came, he picked us from the airport with a very warm welcome and we drove straight to Sigariya. It was a very long route for a short time so we spent a lot of time in the car. We saw a lot and Sarath organized everything for us. I work in a travel agency and we also book him for our customers. I can therefore highly recommend Sarath as a driver/guide.

Sarath is a really nice person, with a lot of experience in driving and guiding tourists all over Sri Lanka. We had a really amazing time in Sri Lanka, we enjoyed every day. I really suggest you this travel and tour agency!

He was always available to help in an expedited fashion with even tangential things that went awry. His fees were very reasonable. Jaya was our driver/guide - worth every penny. He was extremely conscientious and made an incredible effort to enhance our trip in any way possible. He was a careful driver under often difficult conditions and long distances. His fund of knowledge be it history, flora, fauna, religion was extremely broad. He was a kind and thoughtful gentleman. We have absolutely nothing negative to say about our experience and highly recommend using their services.
