It was a beautiful, week-long adventure with Sindu! for over a week, Sindu showed us all the most important places in Sri Lanka! He was our driver, guide and bodyguard 😉. We've spent with Sindu over 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. I can really recommend him if you're looking for guide and driver. He's very helpful and friendly person. And what's important - he's very honest and hardworking. He helped us find better accomodation offers, showed us places that we haven't had on our list, arranged money exchange and safari, recommended good places to eat. Not to mention he took a bunch of great photos of our family :) He's very flexible and accomodated whatever changes we made in our itineraty. All went as we agreed 6 months before our trip, even though the US dollar- LKR rate changed for worse. No advanced payment was required. We felt safe all the time as Sindu is very good driver and had no problems navigating through crazy& busy sri lankan roads :)

It wasn't just a trip. It was the adventure of a lifetime! We were afraid because it was the first time we had traveled this far alone. We were very lucky to have come to Sindu Tours. Our guide showed us the beautiful, wild and mysterious Siri Lanka. Together we went to UDAWALA NATIONAL PARK, where we admired wild animals in their natural environment. He also guided us around the city of KANDY where we saw the original, Buddhist temples. Together we also visited the fort in GALLE. Sindu drove us to a tea factory, a lumber factory, and a moonstone mine. He showed us beautiful beaches, wonderful gardens. We'll never forget those views. We also learned a lot about natural medicine. Sindu became not only our guide, but also our friend. Thanks to him we discovered how friendly the local community is and how delicious the food is there. It is worth adding that Sindu adapted to our needs. The schedule of the day was arranged individually. Our English was not the best, but he made sure we understood everything. This is very important – the tours had no hidden fees. We spent 2 weeks in Sri Lanka doing charity work. Sindu Tours provided the service for us mainly driving us to the several places we need to go to. We received an excellent service; punctuality was the key in our case and we were never let down by our driver. He speaks English very well, he planned the tour according to our needs and showed us really beautiful places. He also showed us where we can buy souvernirs and local food or snacks. We had the pleasure of having Sindu as our driver, guide and friend during our wonderful tour of Sri Lanka.

Sindu is a great driver, and a kind helpful person. Aside from driving us safely around our 6 locations, he often went above and beyond what was expected of him.

 He would help with accommodation and restaurant tips, negotiate the best deal for entry fees, meals etc. If we needed anything from the shops (essentials like cold beer etc ;-) ) 

then he would take care of it. He provided a local (Dialog) SIM card and helped with the set up.

 He also took us a to a couple of places, a Tea Factory and a Herb & Spice garden, which I would usually avoid as tourist traps, and I’m glad he did, as both were very interesting, much more than I expected.

 Towards the end of the tour, he invited us to his home near Bentota to meet his lovely family, where we shared a wonderful Sri Lankan meal. 

 As we ran out of time on the last day, my wife was keen to buy a couple of Sarong’s, but we didn’t make it to the shop. Sindu, without being asked, called a friend who set off on his bike to the sarong shop and then met up with us with 2 beautiful sarongs which my wife loves.

 Sindu is also a keen photographer, too often we have no photos of our family together as I am usually behind the camera, but Sindu took lots of great family photos to keep along with our magical memories.

 Please do go to Sri Lanka, we saw next to no signs of the hardships which the country has endured from Tsunami, to Civil War, Terrorist attacks, economic collapse and Covid. I felt entirely safe at all times, the people were all very friendly and kind. We were rarely ‘hassled’ by anyone and even then it was never aggressive.

 Go to Sir Lanka, book Sindu, you will have a superb holiday, with so many special memories, and a great guy.

We just finished an amazing 16-day trip through Sri Lanka with Vimukthi from Sindu Tours. Everything was perfect from the flowers at the airport when we arrived to the parting gifts at the end. We originally wanted to rent a car but were relieved we didn't try to drive in Sri Lanka. Vimukthi is a safe driver. The car was modern and clean. Vimukthi helped us book hotels and guided us through the best sights. We really liked the Temple of the Sacred Tooth. On our Yala safari, we saw 2 leopards up close, which we heard was very difficult. We are happy to have made a new friend while experiencing Sri Lanka. Sindu Tours and especially Vimukthi get our highest recommendation!!
