- R8664GYjayw0 contributionsExceptional tour experienceWe took a one-day small-group tour of Gyeongju with the Busan Tourism Center, which included lunch and all the main tourist attractions. Since no other families registered, my family was given a private tour in a nice air-conditioned Hyundai Staria van. We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Chris Choi as our tour guide! His English was fluent, knowledge of Gyeongju was impressive, and he shared fascinating stories and insights that brought history and culture to life. He was attentive to our needs, answered all our questions with patience, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable time. His passion for the job truly shined through, making our tour both educational and fun. Highly recommend Chris Choi to anyone looking for an exceptional tour experience.Written July 19, 2024
- najumaa20190 contributionsShort Evening AdventureThe tour was as described. Chris picked us up on time and was very engaging as we traveled to pick up the others. The cruise was just a ride out to sea with some fireworks. It was an experience, but it wasn't anything more spectacular than I just described. The stop at the film festival place was quick and painless. The last spot which was a view from the top of a mountain had a beautiful view. The stay there was also quick and painless. I'd recommend this tour for anyone who doesn't want to be committed to a full day. The short evening hours were just enough to fill our evening. I would not recommend this for young children as I think they'd be bored with everything after the boat. But as far as the boat, even with a life jacket, you'd really have to hold onto them while the boat goes to sea.Written July 8, 2024
- PoosieMelbourne0 contributionsWhat a great night! We had such a brilliant night with Steve! Steve was thoughtful enough to suggest a different day for our tour, to ensure we got the best weather, he was spot on! Steve looked after us the entire time, and answered plenty of our questions about living in Korea. He also gave us a few suggestions for things to do in Busan in poor weather, which we appreciated very much (and his suggestions were great!) 5 starsWritten July 2, 2024
- shirlenep20140 contributionsCool evening on a yachtEnjoyed the evening on the yacht. Cool breeze n nice views. We booked with Yacht Holic weekday 7pm. At end of trip around 8pm, the sky is not completely dark yet so the fireworks set off by the crew member was not that nice. Recommend to book weekend 730pm. Then get to see sunset n night views.Written June 17, 2024
- Andy J0 contributionsA great evening tour of BusanMy wife and I had a great evening tour of Busan with our tour guide Steve. We took a one hour harbour tour at sunset that included fireworks. Then we went to the Cinema center where the annual Busan film festival is held every October. We capped off the evening with a view over the city from a mountain top overlooking Diamond bridge. He was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English.Written May 23, 2024
- 939russellm0 contributionsGreat viewsPicked up from hotel, a little tour around the east of the city, cruise was fun, great view of the bridge and all the buildings. Fantastic view of the city from Mt Busan. Our guide was great. Recommended.Written May 15, 2024
- triinsaa0 contributionsRecommendThe announcement of meeting time I had got 3 hours later, when tour was ongoing , that 20 minutes for waiting the tour bus in my hotel was quite nerves time . Guide spoke very good English , but maybe it is better to talk little bit more about history of the historical sites , what we visited and to answer to every questionWritten May 15, 2024
- maritzam6830 contributionsBusan from a different perspective, noice!Positive surprised , this city is even nicer at night. We crossed the diamond- bridge , and the ride from the hotel, close to Busan Station , to the east part, showed the modern part of the city, a wow infrastructure and at night, espectacular.Written May 3, 2024
- Nomad212308781880 contributionsBest City Tour Ever from Steve!Long overdue but here goes. We had Steve as our tour guide and he was absolutely the best. We weren't originally sure what to expect for this tour as I had been to Gyeongju as a child while my partner (from America) had never been to Korea before. Steve, who was completely fluent in both English and Korean, gave us such a fun tour and we are so glad we signed up last minute. For someone who did not grow up in Korea, Steve was extremely knowledgable and had a lot of interesting facts that you normally might not get from touring the city on your own even if you were educated in Korea. Steve is very easy-going, thoughtful, and makes sure that the tour he gives fits the agenda you are looking for that day. Whether you are Korean or not, speak the language or not, or knowledable in Korean history, we would absolutely recommend hiring Steve for the day and you can relax while you let him take you around. As the historic capital of Korea, he definitely had an impact on how we viewed the city by the time we left in the hopes of younger generations sticking around to keep the history alive in such a beautiful historic city.Written March 12, 2024
- ivonh20240 contributionsDelightful tourOverall, this tour was good. The tour guide was Chris and he was very friendly and talkative. The cruise was nice given that I went on a Saturday and there was a drone show on Gwangalli Beach so I was able to watch that from the yacht. I went as a solo traveler and I had fun. Chris is very nice and will help you take photographs if you wish to take any.Written January 31, 2024
- Rebecca F0 contributionsFun night out to see the city lit upThis was a fun tour! The view of the city and the bridge from on the boat was beautiful. It was VERY cold, we went in November. We had coats and hats and they provided blankets which was nice, but it was still very cold. So be prepared! The cinema center was cool as well with the lights.Written November 26, 2023
- LittleLatte0 contributionsExcellent service and friendlyWe booked the airport transfer because we couldn't find bigger car to fit in our luggages if we fetch a taxi. Arranging with them can assured all from time to space. Communicated well in English so it's so easy for foreigners.Excellent service and thanks Steve for the smooth ride. Will be back!Written November 21, 2023
- gypsy0070 contributionsPerfect Last Night in South KoreaThis night time cruise on the bay in Busan was the perfect way to end my wonderful visit to South Korea. Being on a smaller boat without a huge crowd of other tourists was so much more relaxing and memorable. The fireworks from the several boats added to the fun. My gracious guide, Chris, also took me to a mountain overlook for the quintessential night time view of Busan and Diamond Bridge.Written November 17, 2023

I booked a group tour but was lucky that it turned into a private tour instead! The guide Chris was great and provided interesting commentary as we visited each location. He also provided additional recommendations and other things to do or places to visit to better experience Busan like a local. I recommend that you take this tour on your visit to Busan.

I can't recommend this tour enough. All the stops were interesting and I had plenty of time to explore on my own. Steve was a phenomenal guide. He provided very interesting and useful insight into Busan and life in Korea more generally. Thank you Steve!

Steve provided a great tour as he is an enthusiastic guide as well as being open and generous. Steve is knowledgeable about South Korean culture and society. As sociologists, his insights were much appreciated and allowed for a better understanding of Korea. It was enjoyable to see some of the highlights of Busan in a comfortable van with a small (5) group of convivial explorers.

I got to see all the Highlights (Gamcheon Culture Village, the fish market, the international market, the observatory, the sky walk, and the temple) in one day. Steve was my tour guide; he was knowledgeable and professional and easy to talk to. Great price for a full day with lots of shopping time built in.

My tour was lead by Beth who is so sweet, knowledgeable and personable. I learned so much and had an amazing time. And Beth was so helpful, even taking the time to help me sort out my issue with my train to Seoul. And I am grateful to the company too as accommodations were made for me to be able to go on both the tours I booked with them. 10/10 on all three accounts.

Pleasant and informative tour that gave us a new perspective of South Korea. The temple visit was very historical, never miss this place. Grateful to our tourist guide Steve, for allowing us to immerse in Korean culture.

We signed up for one of the Busan day tours for two people that features the Gamcheon culture village. Our tour guide Beth (Lee Seon Young), first name Seon Young is outstanding. She is a free lancer for the company and during the summer will guide 4 to 5 tours per week. She was also the driver of the van taking us around Busan. We visited one buddhist temple, Gamcheon culture village, a high point overlooking the city (which did have a bit of fog on top due to weather), walked through different portions of western Busan and had a very nice lunch featuring a Korean menu. Beth took multiple photos of us and will be sending them to us through the tour agency via email. We had a wonderful time and when we return will sign up for another tour as there is so much to see and learn about Busan.

We booked this tour for two of us knowing that there could be more. I worried a bit because the initial communications were brief. No worries though! The price was reasonable ($149 including all admissions and a delicious lunch). There were 8 of us from the cruise ship on a small comfortable bus with big clean windows and they were waiting for us with our name when we got off the ship in the morning. The tour was wonderful and we saw so many places on our busy day. Highlights included the Songdo sky walk bridge, Gamcheon Culture Village, the incredibly beautiful Samgwang Temple and the biggest busiest fish market we have ever seen. We had free time at each stop to explore on our own a bit. Beth was our excellent tour guide. Ask for her if you can. Her English is excellent, she is a lot of fun and she answered our many questions about local culture including telling us what we wanted to know about N. Korea. We went to a local restaurant and had a huge delicious lunch with Korean BBQ beef and lots of fresh vegetables stirred in with rice and condiments. We had a full busy day and it was one of our best tours.

We visited the temple and the bridge in time to see it open as well as the culture villiage and other places around Busan. Stephen knew the history of each place and even took photos for me.
