- 807mairac00Best of Busan with JadeUNFORTUNATELY WAS A RAINING DAY, BUT THANKS TO OUR AMAZING TOUR GUIDE JADE KIM WE WERE ABLE TO HAD A VERY ENJOYABLE TIME VISITING THE BEST OF BUSAN. HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO MAKE THE BEST OF IT AND HE ACCOMPLISHED.
- Departure3417802692100Scenic and totally worth itWe did the night tour of Busan with Jay! It was absolutely wonderful. In a short duration of 3 hours, Jay showed us so many things! We even stopped for beers and French fries! She also dropped us for dinner at a good Indian restaurant walking distance from our place and made sure the owner told us the way still while leaving! So thoughtful! Three girls from India on a night tour in busan couldn’t have asked for better!!!!! Thank you Jay!!!
- Iris T00A city full of surprisesHad a great time exploring Busan. Its a really remarkable city, full of surprises. Jay was very nice helping me around. The steep slopes are not easy with a wheelchair but we managed well together.
- jensthingm00Very fine 3-day family tour to traditional KoreaWe had a lovely 3-day family tour to Gyeongju, Andong, Hainsa and Daegu. It was very interesting to learn about the history and traditions of past Korea. We liked Bulguksa but particularly beautiful Hainsa on a misty Sunday morning. Jade was an excellent guide with a great personality and deep knowledge of Korea and the places we visited and we felt like old friends from the beginning. For visiting Andong, very friendly Finn stepped in for Jade and we had a fine day out there, too, including visiting the soju museum. We would come back anytime and would be pleased to be shown around by Finn and “old friend” Jade :-). Greetings, Jens and family from Denmark
- Nicole P00GREAT Tour of Busan!!Bonita was the best!! She was so patient with us when our ship was 1 1/2 hours late to port. She took us to amazing places! The BEST Temple was the Haedong Yonggung Temple./ Right on the water! Then we went to a skywalk over the ocean, a couple shopping streets and the fish market! Wonderful tour and very easy to work with!!! Thank you Bonita!!!!!
- 241kristys00Easily see many unique sites in 3 daysA private tour to see several UNESCO world heritage sites and other unique local attractions that would have been difficult to reach via public transportation. While expensive, we were glad we booked this tour. A big positive was our guide Peter, who was friendly, easy-going, and very flexible. He answered our many questions and had interesting perspectives and shared his templestay experience. He introduced local Korean food and generally provided a deeper experience than we would have had just on our own.
- Docrommel1400Beautiful BusanWitnessing the beauty of Busan from Mt. Hwangryeong! The view was stunning, breathtaking, and will forever be etched in our minds! Thank you Jade for being such an knowledgeable and amazing guide!
- h0llyec00A trip to remember in BusanThis was a truly wonderful trip. The beauty of Gamcheon and Haedong Yonggungsa temple were amazing. Touring Busan and taking the cable car over the sea were sure to make golden memories for us. We also did the Oryukdo skywalk and took great pictures over the water and of the islands. We were honored to visit the United Nations Cemetery in Busan and quietly reflect on those that gave their lives defending the city. Lunch was amazing and we ate at a traditional pork soup place which was warm and filling. Our guide Peter Lee was phenomenal and was so very informative and shared much of the local history with us. The care and attention he gave us was second to none and greatly enriched our experience.
- justinthecode00AmazingThis tour opens up Busan with its varied settings with both ancient and more recent history. Our tour guide's liveliness and exceptional English skills made the tour feel like spending time with a close friend. It was very easy to ask questions and engage in the tour. I recommend this tour for anyone who loves sightseeing.
- anncolbystocking00Lucky to have JadeMy “Busan by Night” tour with Jade was a fantastic experience—really was highlight of my time in Busan! He is so friendly and knowledgeable about the area stops. A great person and credit to Busan tourism. I wish him all the best things in life. AS
- 521bobbys00Friendly, knowledgeable Jade took this one over the top in a super beautiful and historically fascinating part of Korea.Busan Review A quick summary before the details - This was one of the best tour experiences I’ve ever had. Our guide Jade is a class act, super friendly, highly knowledgeable and curious host and we quickly made friends and hope to see him again. The itinerary is perfect for a relaxed tour of some cultural sites, and the temple stay was peaceful and unique. The details: Being our first trip to Korea, we took a train to Busan from Seoul Station and stayed at our hotel overnight. After a 16 hour flight we were a little jet lagged, and needed to be in the lobby at 9am to start our day. We met Jade just outside the lobby to a warm greeting, and he packed our bags into a super comfortable van. In our ride he provided us water, and we talked all things culture and Korea. We instantly connected! Jade is super worldly and knew all things pop culture both at home and far away. We visited a cultural village and had a delicious tea. Jade is extremely knowledgeable of his history and culture and made it easily digestible for us. After the culture village, we had lunch at a local spot at Jade’s recommendation (which was fantastic) followed by a delicious tea. Then, it was time to check into the Temple for our overnight stay. To say the temple was fantastic was an understatement - it was a quiet evening full of warmups, yoga-like stretches and exercises, followed by a fantastic vegetarian dinner and an early night to sleep, which our jet lagged selfs definitely appreciated. The accommodations were modest and separated by male/female, which was a little strange but traditional for the Buddhist culture. The next morning we were up at 5 am for chants, walking exercises, more yoga-like activities, with extremely knowledgeable and patient staff at the temple. After a fantastic lunch it was time to check out of our relaxing temple stay. The views and scenery were serene and wonderful, and Jade was waiting for us for the second leg of our tour. The second leg hit a lot of excellent cultural sites quickly, and Jade gave us an excellent narration of what we were seeing and its importance in Korean history. I found the temples fascinating, and specifically the burial mounds and nature surroundings were a highlight. After a pretty packed second day Jade took us back to our hotel in Busan, giving us enlightened conversation in the process and filling our books with tons of stuff to check out in his hometown of Busan. A quick note about Busan - leave a few days to explore this beautiful coastal city with a laid back vibe. We checked out a beach on Jade’s recommendation, along with the BIFF Busan International Film Festival) site, and the fish market. All in all, we really loved this tour experience and found Jade to be an excellent and knowledgeable guide who made it truly special. We hope to stay in touch.
- louisek40800Glittering night view of Busan by sedanWe really enjoyed the personal tour last night by our guide Jay. So beautiful to see the whole city glittering in front of us with a clear sky and full moon. We got to sit back and relax and enjoy discovering different parts of the city, especially the beautiful Gwangangdaegyo Bridge all lit up purple. Loved all her history insights too. Feel like we know the city a bit better now.
- debbiecheong3300Great day!nowledgeable, we had a great day out exploring Busan, perfect for a day and not feel too tired nor rushed. Jade was open and flexible with our itinerary. Highly recommend!

After all, Gyeongju was the capital of the Silla Kingdom (57 BC – AD 935), the longest dynastic period in the history of Korea. I can’t say enough about our fabulous tour guide and local expert Jade Kim. He orchestrated an enjoyable, informative and first rate walking tour of everything in Gyeongju that we wanted to see. Jade picked up our gang of 3 adults at hotel Hwangnamguan Hanok Village at 9:30 am, shuttled us to each historical site in the comfort of a spacious SUV, and then transported us to the Paradise Hotel in Busan by 6:00 pm.
The tour was a full day of activity, including Cheomseongdae Royal Observatory, Daereungwon Tomb Complex (Cheonmachong), Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond in Gyeongju (Anapji), Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto and Gyeongju National Museum. Although I cannot detail each of these fantastic sites in this review, we experienced it all, and at a leisurely, fun pace, including a great authentic Korean lunch. This was all possible because our tour guide Jade Kim was well organized, thorough, and has the ability to distill Korean history and culture into a great program!
Highly recommended as part of any serious tour of Korea!

What a great tour this was! Our guide, Jade, answered all our questions and shared a lot of the ancient history of Korea. He was able to give us a guided tour through the museum and explain what we were seeing. Very knowledgeable on history. He pointed out the highlights not to miss!
Good English. Safe driver.
Bring a jacket for visiting the grotto. It was windy and cold up there.
Jade took us to a traditional Korean restaurant. It was wonderful! Not the same stuff we've been eating in other restaurants. We really enjoyed it!
When we returned to the city he took us to a place that overlooked the city from all directions! It was so beautiful to see the bridges lit up and all the city lights!!! Such a treat!

The advertised price is not the one that comes up when I’m trying to book. The advertised price is 151,000, and then when I go to book it is 670,000. Why is there such a big difference in price if I am booking today and it says the discount will apply?
