Best boat trip you could ask for

We hired a private boat from Mr. Anno
The skipper Mr. Micheal took us to a beautiful beach with all the necessary items for snorkeling
It was our first time and they were super friendly with us and gave us the privacy we needed
Then they provided some refreshing drinks and coconuts with some bananas and took us to St Anne island.. Where Mr. Kenett took us to the best tour you could ask for in that island. He even gave us some coconut that I've never tasted before(Local Marshmallow) and fed some Turtles
Then we had beautiful lunch at JOLLY ROGER restaurant and went back to Mahe
I would totally recommend this boat trip to anyone who is seeking for privacy or even in groups to have wonderful time in the sea

For those wishing a relaxed and easy boat trip I would thoroughly recommend this one! Great for tortoise lovers too!
We went to the Marine Charter office in Mahe to book a trip to Moyenne Island as I particularly wanted to see the giant tortoises! The girl who helped us gave us the information and took our booking, there was no need to pay anything upfront. The price was 90 euros each which included lunch and unlimited bottles of water.
We were fortunate to have lovely weather and a calm sea on the day of our trip.
The two crew were very friendly and gave us some good information. We stopped in the St Anne Marine park for snorkeling and fish feeding, it was a glass bottomed boat so great for those not wanting to snorkel!
Our next stop was Moyenne Island where we saw the giant tortoises roaming freely. We did the trek round the island and saw beautiful scenery.
Our final stop was Cerf island where we had a delicious lunch of local food and bbq meat and fish, then time to relax on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip.

Wonderful day out for two!

Wonderful day out for two of us. Arrangements all smooth friendly and professional. Slow cruise around the islands, followed by wading in the shallows through the sandbanks and then plenty of excellent snorkelling. Long visit with the giant turtles on Moyenne followed by an excellent lunch. Then more snorkelling before we were happily and exhaustedly dropped off just by where we had left out car. The best however were Kenneth and Alvin the crew of two who kept us entertained and informed throughout the trip not just about the marine park by all sorts of aspects of life in the Seychelles. A laid back, pleasurable and highly entertaining day. Couldn't recommend it strongly enough,

Fabulous day
We spent some time trying to decide whether to invest in this trip or opt for a cheaper glass bottom boat tour. We are into snorkeling and really we could not have made a better decision than to take this trip. The weather was good, but a little windy. Our crew, Freddy and Dean went all out to take us to the best snorkeling spots. The freedom of having our own boat was amazing. If visibility was iffy in one spot the crew had no hesitation in going elsewhere. Lunch on the island was tasty. We would have liked to have had flippers with us, but they seem a bit hard to get on Mahe otherwise the review would have been excellent. We would definitely recommend the investment, especially if you are not into sharing a boat with 15 others. Thanks Arno for the excellent communications and thanks crew we had an amazing day!

Great day out with a lovely captain and snorkeling

Amazing experience, thanks to Arno and his team - Rennat and Micheal, are captains. Took us to excellent snorkeling spots and a beautiful experience on Moyenne Island with a lot of history and seeing so many giant tortoises and the telling us about the island. The bbq was very nice that was organized, and option to buy or bring your own alcohol to accompany your lunch. Thanks for a lovely experience and it was also a very competitive price, from the likes of what a 5* hotel would arrange for you and worth it!

Amazing day out!

Definitely worth it. We were a family of 9 including 2 kids. Contacted Arno 4 days before for the day trip, very responsive and told us everything in detail.

On thé day, we had Michel and Kenneth as our skippers, awesome guys with lots of knowledge of the island. Fed fishes, snorkel, bbq lunch and saw the tortoise. All at our own pace, really relaxing.
Definitely worth going with these guys instead of the mixed group tourist boats, especially w covid.

Great glass bottom boat to St Anne
We met Sonny at the ferry port during a walk around Victoria. He gave us his card and let us know that glass bottom boat cruises left every day for a tour around Ste. Anne Marine Park. We were in Mahé during July 2018 and the cruise cost 80€. We had done some research and it was the cheapest cruise we found. The rest ranged from 90€-110€( the higher prices included a pick up from your resort). Sonny does offer a pick up service at your resort for 10€ per person so still the most affordable option. We took the bus to Victoria and then walked to the ferry (about 15 minutes maximum from the bus stop next to the Hindu temple). The bus is Rs7 per person one way no matter which trip/for how long etc.

The boat-St Luciana left the port at 9:30. We had 2 crew members and there were 6 of us on board which was really nice not to have a crowded boat. The boat can take up to 16 guests or more I think. We had a short ride towards the marine park area where we fed the fish and then hopped in to snorkel for an hour. The crew has gear if you need it and life jackets. Snorkeling in the Seychelles means lots of tropical fish but the coral is all bleached from the increase in temperature of the water since 1998 apparently. After our snorkel we headed to Moyenne island. We could walk around the island at our leisure and see the giant tortoises. It was nice not to feel rushed. After this we took the boat to another area of the marine park and snorkeled for another 30 minutes. We then went to Round island (I think-it may have been Long) and again had time to wander around or lie on the beach. Lunch was served at 13:30. They have bench tables set up under cover and staff ready to serve lunch. It was a fish and chicken barbecue along with lots of salads and rice/bread/curry etc). The food was delicious and you could have seconds if you wanted. We also revived a cool drink and bottled water. We chose to lie on the beach until it was time to go. The boy left at 15:00 to head back to Mahé. As our group was on the smaller side the tour went a bit quicker- you can stay till 16:00 and then head back to Mahé but our group was happier to head back sooner. The crew are super accommodating and you could always ask to stay at a spot longer if you wanted. We would highly recommend Sonny and the St Luciana tour around the Ste. Anne marine park.

Amazing trip! Must have when in Seychelles!

Seeing the beautyfull islands is one thing, but the best way to enjoy the Seychelles is by boat! We booked the private boat with skipper Jean-Paul and the guy knows everything about the surroundings. We did some snorkling, had a great lunch and learned alot in the meanwhile about the culture of the Seychelles. If you want to make your stay on the Seychelles complete, don't hesitate to book the trip as you will have one of the best days during your stay!
