Highly recommend! Dedek was awesome, friendly and super knowledgeable about everywhere we went. We didn’t have much of an idea of where we wanted to go or what to do but Dedek had amazing suggestions and ideas, we had the best day!

(Trip on 21 Feb) We were first timers to Bali and wanted a whistle stop tour of all the big attractions in one day, so we started off from our resort in Sanur> Gua Gajah> Kampo Lampo waterfalls> Lunch at Pande Egi Babi Guling> Jatiluwih Rice Terraces> Tanah Lot > Sanur. If you track how FAR that is to drive, you'll understand that it takes dedication, patience, and skill to drive that long. But with Widi as our guide/ driver/ cultural ambassador, he made us feel so relaxed and at ease and made our impossible route possible. He is a safe and competent driver, and we didn't feel unsafe on the road at all with him behind the wheel. At every stop, Widi gave a cultural lesson on the places we were at, which was such an unexpected and welcome bonus. Between stops he would point out and describe the different neighbourhoods or sights we would pass along but during longer stretches of driving he also gave us quiet space (whilst we slept backseat). At one point he even gave suggestions of where to go (like the Kampo Lampo waterfall) and that made the route feel more special and collaborative. He communicates clearly in English (and can speak Japanese too!) and was quick to respond to Whatsapp messages before the tour and was very kind to check in on me on my flight back! He is so obviously generous with his time and knowledge that I don't think our day could have been any better. It was a pleasure to have him and we left learning so much about Bali thanks to him. We spent about 10 hours with Agung, touring Ubud and areas in East Bali. We had researched places we wanted to see and asked him for recommendations. At first he seemed reluctant to make suggestions but, after chatting for a bit, he suggested a route that included the places we wanted and numerous additional stops along the way. The result was that we saw saw several spectacular sites and a performance we would have otherwise missed. Agung was cheerful, friendly and informative. His command of English was good- excellent. As a result we learned a great deal about the culture, religion and geography of Bali. He was very outgoing and forthcoming. We shared details about our lives in the US and his in Bali. Overall we were very, very pleased with our experience with Agung and would ask for him specifically if we return to Bali. Other details. The vehicle was new (or appeared so) and immaculate. Agung's driving was confident and safe in a challenging environment.

Agung was an amazing guide. He made it a day to remember and his knowledge on Bali and Ubud itself was exceptional. He told us things that would have not been possible to learn without a guide. It was our first time in Bali, in the Tanah Lot area. Widi was our driver and he was extremely informative and considerate. We had a driver from our resort but he wasn't apt to answer our questions. Balinese culture is incredibly beautiful and spiritual, so to understand the way of life and the traditions of the people who live here. It was my sister and I's first time in Bali and we felt safe and well informed with Widi. He walked us through the agenda for today so we understood what the plan was and he was flexible to what we wanted to see. His driving was smooth and safe. There's so many positive things I can say about him, but I think it's best for anyone to reach out to him for a tour around Bali. I'm really happy with the treatment we received that if we were to come back I will definitely ask for Widi again!! It was such a great time, my sister and I loved it!!
