Spiritual, sacred and heart based tour
I just finished an absolutely incredible, sacred and heart warming spiritual tour with the friendly knowledgeable and dedicated Sumi. From the moment of pickup he was punctual and welcoming. A very safe driver, Sumi patiently explained the Balinese spiritual customs and sacred traditions to me throughout the day. First stop was to the amazing Shaman for a treatment and blessing which was a beautiful and unique experience. I am very grateful to her for her wisdom and help with my physical issues. Then to a quieter less busy water temple for the water blessings/meditation which included Sumi’s expert guidance and exceptional photography skills. I asked Sumi to suggest a place for lunch (not included) and he took me to a beautiful restaurant overlooking Ceking rice terrace. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and will absolutely try his Penglipuran village tour “Be a Balinese for a Day” tour when we are next in Bali.

Penglipuran Village is very pretty. Nice to walk through and pop in and out of the houses that are open there and all selling their wares. A pretty bamboo forest lies at the head of the village, then a temple, the very attractive houses and the cemetery at the feet of the village. An enjoyable hour or two can be spent ambling around the village. Not the most exhilarating visit during our trip, but definitely worth a look.

A taste of a Balinese traditional village life and ambiance for a day....I enjoyed the cool mountain breeze, Balinese houses, people dressed in traditional attire, and the yummy smell of durian......there are some shops selling souvenirs (prices are cheaper here) and food....
