We were able to get into a few of the locations early before the crowds which really allowed us to enjoy ourselves and get the most out of our time. We were able to explore a lot of the island, see some amazing temples, interacted with locals, swim under a waterfall and take a bunch of amazing photos along the way. Yande is actually a good photographer himself so feel free to let him take your photo. Overall could not have been a better experience and I’m so glad we did it.Written March 21, 2025

It did stop raining when we got to the the Ulun Dam Bratan Temple and the Tanah Lot Temple and Ngurah took some amazing photos of us. He is a great photographer! He also told us about the different sites and was able to answer any questions. Because it was raining, he gave us some different options if we wanted to. We booked 2 full day tours. First day was to “Ubud” and the second was to “Tanah Lot & North Bali”. Despite the rainy season, we were pretty fortunate and enjoyed most of the destinations without using umbrellas. Our driver/guide, Putu, was very helpful in arranging our itinerary taking many things into consideration, for instance, weather, crowdedness, and so forth. He was very professional and knowledgeable about culture and geography of Bali. With his tremendous English skill, my husband and I did not have any problem communicating and enjoyed discussing wide range of subjects with him. Other than the itineraries, Putu surprised us with preparing welcome Balinese treats and stopping for roadside local snacks. Thanks to him, we could even try our first fresh durian, which we ended up with finishing a whole fruit! Before finishing this review, we must emphasize that we were really impressed with Putu’s driving skill. Traffic in Bali, especially in the centre of towns and touristy areas, is horrendous, with so many moppets needling around vehicles and twisty narrow roads. We could totally trust him through the entire tours without missing any great views and actions in Bali. We can highly recommend these tours to anyone visiting Bali in the future!

Widi was an informational and flexible driver and tour guide who was knowledgeable in Balinese culture as a local. He accommodated adding a few stops for us like art shops and specific jewelry shops we were eyeing on our journey. He rearranged our itinerary when someone in our group was afraid of the Monkey Forest. He was also proactive when taking photos of solos and groups on the trip. Would recommend Widi if you are looking for a flexible and responsible tour guide with creative photography skills!

We had an amazing day with this tour. The tour guide, Edi, was amazing, well spoken and very patient with 8 adults of different ages and walking speeds. Our trip started at 8am, and ended at 8pm thanks to the traffic around, but Edi's banter and expert driving made the journey extremely smooth. The highlights were the traditional house, monkey forest and waterfall experience towards the end. This tour is definitely worth the long day for first time tourists or for anyone wanting to catch up on what they've missed in Bali. I would recommend booking with as many friends/family as possible to grab a great discount

Bali is breathtaking, however, having the right guide can make a HUGE difference. Our group of 7 was blessed to have Ari as our guide for the day.
1st thing to point out: We were scheduled to tour on Sunday. We texted early Saturday morning and Ari was able to work the schedule and fit us in on Saturday for the all day tour. We needed to reschedule due to incoming storms. Ari was on time with our private transport and PLENTY of water for everyone. The transport was clean and comfortable for our group of 7.
Places we went to:
Silver making shop/store: I'm not sure if this was an original part of the tour but it was neat to see how they make the ornate silver jewelry. We did not feel any pressure to buy anything within the store.
Traditional Bali household: This house is still owned by a multi generational family. We learned about the different 'rooms' on the property.
Monkey Forest: This was close due to a fallen tree.
Rice Fields: We visited in winter so the fields weren't as 'picturesque' as the photos most of us see. Still very pretty to view. There was a swing, ziplining and plenty of areas for photo opportunities. There is a store on property that has an upper level where you can oversee the fields and people adventurous enough.
Lunch: This stop was a prescheduled stop on the tour. The food was good but we felt it was a bit pricey. I ordered a traditional Balinese dish which was flavorful and came out in a great display. Most of my group ordered chicken which came out flavorful as well.
Tirta Empul: This temple was touching. The premises is vast. The cleansing ponds and understanding the ritual was moving to me. This is one stop where I would have gone back to and done the blessing and ritual if time permitted.
Waterfall: It was the rainy season so this waterfall was pretty muddy. We could have done without this stop. I'm sure during the non rainy season it would have been pretty. You view from a looking point and can walk down to the pool but this was closed for us.
Drive home: Due to the rains, a tree fell before we started our trek back to the hotel. A 1.5 hour ride turned into 2.5-3 hours through the capital. Ari, our guide was apologetic but there is nothing he could do. There are only major roads/arteries that get you from A to B and when of those go down, there are no other options.
This is an all day tour but you do not feel like you are hustling from one spot to the next. Ari talked about the culture, the island and we talked about his family. If he wasn't our guide, who knows if the tour would have been as enjoyable.

We had a very unique and personalized experience with our driver and guide, Prayoga. Although we had a complete itinerary set up ahead of time, he was able assist us with some additional stops for necessities along the way (coffees, souvenirs, etc). On the trip, of course he had knowledge about the destinations we went to, but what we really got so much value from was his personal knowledge and experience with Balinese culture. Since we were coming from a western country, his insights helped bring us closer to understanding the fascinating history of Bali and Indonesia. We started at a traditional village house where he walked us through customary family dynamics and culture. We also visited and learned about rice fields and how important rice is in almost every meal in Bali—but its also a beautiful and memorable location. My favorite was probably the Holy Springs temple we went to, but seeing the monkeys up close and personal was also a highlight.
To say we learned a lot is an understatement, but Prayoga went above and beyond to help document our trip. I don’t post much to Instagram, but he took AMAZING photos and videos of us during the entire trip. His phone was much better than ours, so I was very appreciative as he sent them to us along the way. And I of course now I do have to put them on Instagram. It was unforgettable! If you come to Bali I highly recommend this Ubud tour, and if you can, ask for Prayoga.

Mr J took us on a great adventure around Ubud and surrounds. He had to modify the timing of the itinerary to accommodate the change in weather which he was able to do to ensure we could stay ahead of the rain. Mr J was very attentive and explained in detail the signifance at each of the stops. He also took great photos and videos of us on the tour. He knew the best spots for pictures! He personalised the tour to our liking depending on how long we wanted at each stop. His driving was very safe and the vehicle was clean and very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone who wants to perform a tour in Bali!

We had the best full day of activities that gave us everything we wanted! Our group was met at our lobby by Enawan who was professional and checked to make sure we had everything we needed and double checked the itinerary. It was a longer drive from place to place but we felt completely comfortable with our guide giving us enough time to ask questions and explore each of our stops. We also received information about the local sites and villages along our journey. Our favourite stop was the mk key forest with the lunch and rice terraces being a close section. We ended up with quite the rainstorm while waiting for the adrenaline swing so we traded that experience for umbrellas and an amazing view under the restaurant roof as we enjoyed our delicious lunch. The trip was a very full day and the value we received in the experiences was amazing but what made the day amazing was our guide Enawan. As we knew little about the local customs he patiently shared details and answered all of our questions. We never felt rushed at any of our stops and he took amazing pictures for us. If you want a full day with great value then this is the trip for you. Highly recommend as this was one if the best trips we have had and we travel a lot.

This is by far the best trip I have been on in Bali. Gede putra was a fantastic tour guide and would highly recommend him. Gede Putra has a lot of knowledge about the island and temple . Gede Putra, I would highly recommend as a your guide, and the food at the D'alas warung was outstanding, truly traditional Indonesian food with very welcoming staff. The coffee plantain was outside, too, with also extremely welcoming staff and bought plenty of coffee from the shop quite expensive but worth the flavour. The waterfall at the end was stunning.

This tour was a blast, got a chance to see so many great spots in a short amount of time. Our tour guide Yosi was phenomenal, he was very knowledgeable and provided so much interesting local and cultural information about all of the different spots that made this tour very memorable. He also catered to our interests and took my wife and I to a coffee plantation with tasting. He helped us capture so many fantastic moments taking our picture in the monkey sanctuary and swings and other beautiful spots. Very comfortable ride as well with AC in the car and a place to keep your bags. Wholeheartedly recommend this tour, great value for the money and request Yosi if he's available he made it a day my wife and I won't ever forget.

Wayan Widarta Is an amazing tourist guide who took us to various places around ubud from seeing culture activities such as hand made clothes traditional, paintings, making statues, wood craft and painting, then. We went to monkey park, rice terrace where he explain the difference between rices brown/white/red, how often they sow and cut it and about other islands
water falls and don’t forget to go on the delicious lunch in between the jungle. He provide you all the tips from where to buy things cheap..

He took us to cleansing temple and coffee center place where we tried so many teas and coffee. He explain us about the story of cappuccino in Bali its cat-puccino.
Just ask him all your questions, he will explain you your questions in detail. Most people don’t know the history behind it and they just do it.
Mr Wayan provided us water on time and took very good pictures all the places including at the monkey and water park just ask he’ll help you out.
I would with knowledge person and Spend a bit more than going with random guys who doesn’t know anything.

Your driver is assigned specifically to you and customizes the day based on your needs. They should definitely be able to pick up and drop off at different locations but I would let tu know ahead of time. We highly recommend Indra for his flexibility and willingness to accommodate. You could ask for him as your driver and then message him on What’s App before the trip. He also drove a small SUV, so we could have fit 4 pieces of luggage in the car. He can tell you how many bags he can accommodate ahead of time too.

I reserved the tickets without paying, and was actually contacted by the driver on WhatsApp prior to confirm booking, pick-up, etc. Very convenient! If any questions you can reserve the tour and they won't charge your card I believe until 48 hours ahead of time ... the tour company reached out to me well before that window ... hope that helps!

hi what time roughly this trip ends ? i am planning to do it on my departure day ( departure 10:00 pm and have to lesve for the airport around 1 hrs ).. how much time this trip takes .. it says 8-10 hrs just want to know from people who experienced this trip thanks

This tour ended for us around 5pm, but technically you can end it when you like by personalising it (i.e we didn’t climb the waterfall) but if you’re heading to the airport from Ubud, it took us about 2 hours to get there!
