About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Annache71850 contributionsGate of Heaven temple tripIt's a memorable trip and started with one of our member vomited inside the car. Lucky we have one nice and good driver - Wayan Suparta who help to clean up. It's long journey and traffic at bali was quite bad. We get to know the balinese prayer and the culture at bali. Nice trip even with one of the member in bad condition...Written November 12, 2019
- brentb6860 contributionsAwesome, A+++ experienceThe whole experience was all we could have hoped for! Guide (Agung?) was a blast, of all the rafts on the river, we were the ones laughing the most. It’s easy and there are a lot of spots to stop and take pics along the way. Go to Sari, you won’t be sorry lol!Written April 10, 2019
- lauriekeene610 contributionsA blastFor only 850,000 Rp for the two of us, we were also driven from Sanur to Ubud and return. The descent of a thousand steps down to raft was unexpected but fun, the scenery spectacular and the rafting superb. The ascent up the steps will challenge anyone with suspect knees or thighs. The only disappointment was the lunch. Inexplicably we weren't given a choice as per the brochure, but was served a luke warm chicken leg and rice and a banana each. My partner and I were then confined to our hotel room for the next two days with Bali belly! I know we could have got it anywhere, but we have our suspicions. I'd do it all again tomorrow, but pass on the lunch.Written January 4, 2018
- Rebecca L0 contributionsFun for all the familyMy husband, myself and our two kids 9 & 11 all did this and loved it. Guide was very friendly and great with the kids. Stopped off for a swim and photo under water fall. Also had a break where you could buy a drink or small snack along river. Scenery was lovely and the lunch afterwards was also nice and included in price. There were a lot of steps so talk to them before you book if you think you may have an issue. Saying that they didn’t rush us to get down or back up steps.Written September 23, 2017
- Gibbon19850 contributionsGreat FunAs others have stated the facilities to change shower etc are very basic. The drivers drop you off away from the tour office where you collect your gear and make your way to the river. This takes 10 minutes or so over paddys and down a steep ravine. The river rapid was great and the guide spoke good English and was very friendly. A steep climb up again at the end certainly got the blood flowing. Food back at the office after was also very good with the choice of chicken or ribs. Would definitely do it again. Cost us 600,000 rupee eachWritten June 10, 2017
- Danni65850 contributionsAwesome! Do it!!!!Would highly recommend this as something to do whilst in ubud! We loved it! Our guide was perfect! Really friendly and knowledgeable, put me at ease! He made it really fun! Stopped at a waterfall and for a beer break! Perfect! The lunch is yummy as well! 10/10 highly recommended company! Made us very happy honeymooners! 😊👍🏼Written June 10, 2017
- Melj2340 contributionsSuch a fun experience! My friend and I did the white river rafting day trip whilst in Ubud on our Bali adventure. It is well organized and safe, and the guide was so funny. It goes for a decent amount of time, they stop of you to swim under the waterfall, and also support a vendor along the way if you want a refreshment. The time in the raft was beautiful. I really enjoyed this activity! Lunch is also included in the price. Highly recommend it as part of your Bali experiences list.Written May 9, 2017
- salah890 contributionsAmazing ExperienceBeen there me and my wife on our last honeymoon day, we were hesitant to do it or just go shopping, it ended up to be the best part of the honeymoon!! the nature scenes down the river are AMAZING, the company itself are very proffesional and organized, our leader Mr Mandi was great, very helpful and funny A must try for everybodyWritten May 1, 2017
- Chief_Scone_Baker0 contributionsGreat way to spend a couple of hoursWe really enjoyed the rafting even though it was fairly tame. We've done this in the Andes in much bigger water but even so there were plenty of small rapids to keep us entertained and it was an enjoyable trip through the rain forest. One thing they don't tell you is that there's hundreds of steps down to the river and hundreds back up again so if you're not fit or have poor knees this isn't for you. The guide was cheerful and good fun and encourage us to splash the other boats as we passed them by.Written April 28, 2017
- Goonjt0 contributionsGreat fun, Amazing instructor!!We stayed at Kamajaya Villas in Ubud which was about 5 min drive from the main office. Maddy(usually everyone goes by that name in Bali) was our instructor, really buffed up guy who liked to have fun. The climb down to the river was pretty long but the huge rice fields helped. We took the farthest point on the river as our starting location and oh man did we pick the right spot. I got to get down from the raft to swin in the river which was overflowing with water as tuere was some serious rain the previous night. We got to stand under a couple of waterfalls which included a big one. BIGG ONE!! It was my 2nd time rafting and my wife's 4th time, yet this one in ubud is clearly on top of the list now. Totally recommend it.Written December 16, 2016
- Priscilla C0 contributionsFun day outOur guide - Wayan, was bubbly and energetic and made our entire rafting trip enjoyable, fun and safe. Before you can enjoy the nice rafting experience, you have to brave the walk down to the river which took is a good 15 mins and down very steep and uneven steps. If you're not so medically fit it will be a challenge. Make sure to wear good waterproof comfy footwear. The walk down was most arduous. The walk back up after the rafting was more manageable though you would have to climb up stairs but at least they are proper stairs and probably took us abt 10 mins. The trip down the river was gorgeous with beautiful rainforest, waterfalls and passing by 5 star resorts which were built along the Ayung river. The lunch after was fantastic!! The pork ribs were tender and deliciously marinated. Much better than at Wild Hog I must say. You have got to try their ribs if available. The downside is the smoking in the shop which was very choking as there was no ventilation.Written October 20, 2016
- Brigid D0 contributionsAlways a great dayI have used Sari Profit white water rafting on four different occasions. It's always great day out. I love the walk through the rice paddies and down to the river. It's not an easy walk but I enjoy the physical challenge of it. It gets you ready for floating along the river. The scenery as you go down the river is beautiful with some Rapids to make the journey fun. I love it when you get to swim in the river. The water is lovely and cool. The guides are very professional, capable and fun. The walk up the steps at the end is another great physical challenge. I love being over taken by the ladies carrying the rafts up on their heads. It is just impressive how the do it. The change rooms aren't great but all you need to do is change into dry clothes. So i say just get over it. The lunch after is sensational. Every time I have really enjoyed it. Whoever they have cooking does a really good job. The drivers are also good. I've always been picked up and dropped off on time, in clean air conditioned cars. The only thing I don't like is the smoking. The staff all smoke in the lobby and it doesn't have great ventilation. It's really off putting. The good thing is, I don't think a staff member has ever smoked in front of me anywhere else on the journey. However the lobby is just a haze of stinky smoke. All in all though it is an excellent day out. They do a marvellous job.Written September 27, 2016
- jblaze1680 contributionsFun in the morningGood company and great instructors. As others have mentioned, the showers and change rooms are not so good (low water pressure, not clean, and no locks). Not a big deal since you are just quickly rinsing off. But to compensate for it, the included lunch was fantastic. I would use them again.Written September 11, 2016
- Sophie70Bussum0 contributionsGreat fun!We went rafting with this company- it's very professional, very safe and great great fun! Make sure to bring dry clothesWritten July 30, 2016
- Michelle W0 contributionsRafting good but facilities poor.We have done rafting in Bali many times so we knew what to expect. Changing facilities are never great at these places and are always very basic. This was no exception. Showers and toilets need a good clean. I tried to spend as little time as possible in the changing area. There is also a discrepancy in the price charged for the rafting. We asked one of the staff from our hotel to make the booking which cost us 500k INDR per person. However, upon arrival to the office I noticed that their brochure quoted $72USD. Quite a difference. Guess it depends on who you know as to whether you get charged Bali price or Tourist price. The trek down to the Ayung River included a 5 min walk through rice fields and then a 600m descent down some steep and treacherous stairs. If you have any walking difficulties, heart condition, or like myself, asthmatic, then I would suggest you proceed with caution. I found the walk down long and tedious. By the time I had reached the river, my leg muscles were shaking involuntarily. I was grateful to finally sit down in the raft. Our guide was experienced and very friendly. He made the 2 hour rafting experience very enjoyable. Unlike other rafting experiences we had been on, this one DID NOT go over any dangerous waterfalls for which we were grateful. If it had, we would have opted out anyway and walked along the riverbank instead. It is not worth the risk. At the end of the journey, you are then faced with a 400m trek up the stairs. I found this part the most difficult as my breathing became asthmatic. I therefore had to take it very slowly, stopping several times along the way to catch my breath. It was also very hard on my already sore leg muscles. Unfortunately most of these rafting companies DO NOT warn you about the walk down to and up from the river. If you are not prepared, this could be dangerous. By the time we got back to the main office and the awful change rooms, I had had enough and just wanted to get back to our hotel. We didn't even stay for the lunch that was being offered as I was concerned about food safety and hygiene. Instead, we asked to be driven back to our hotel.Written March 29, 2016

Beautiful morning spent rafting down the graceful Ayung River. Our guide Made was hilarious. The rafting was fun and bouncy but not too hard core. The river was clean and beautiful... no rubbish to be seen. And there were showers, fresh towels and complimentary 3 course lunch back at the starting point. Great morning!

Well organised. Lovely guide - he was great fun! Showers not the cleanest and meal after was okay, but rafting itself was tremendous!

Without being particularly challenging, the rafting in Ubud is fun, and the area is beautiful - canyons, a few waterfalls. It's a nice ride. On the top of that, the guide that accompanied us, Wayan (not sure about the spelling) was plain hillarious. Basically, a stand up comedy show on water. We had a really good time.
The food served after the experience was good. The chicken was better than the ribs.
Great activity with friends or family.
