All our vacations are made better by an experienced and friendly tour guide who provide us with all the information about the place and enlighten us on the history and culture of the region. Without a proper tour guide, every vacation has the chance of being completely ruined. And Your Bali Excursion (Wayan Baru) is very experienced. He arranged a magnificent touring to us. Additionally, he is humble, patience and helpful. It is not possible to completely explore a place without a helpful tour guide who knows everything about the place. We were very lucky to have someone like Wayan Baru who was so knowledgeable. Our vacation would not have been half as exciting if we did not have a tour guide as experienced and friendly like him. And Wayan Baru is passionate in photography and skilled. He has all the professional camera sets. He helps to capture our moments that truly last a lifetime. Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for being such a great host and a wonderful tour guide. You took us to places we hardly had any idea about. You and this trip will be etched out in our memories forever. Thank you for your constant efforts that we could visit those beautiful abodes. We just came back from a lovely 5 day customized tour. The weeks before of planning what we wanted to do and see on our short Bali trip was seamless. Wayan was very easy to work with, honest (mentioned to us if some places were worth visiting or not and if we had enough time), and was very friendly! When my husband and I arrived at DPS - Bali airport, our main tour guide for the week, Toke, was on time and very friendly. He ended up being with us for 4 out of the 5 days and was very flexible with our schedule. We added some stops and even removed a few things that we were too tired to do due to jet lag 😅 (Mt. Batur hike, I am coming back for you one day lol. We only lost half of the tour price from a third party in charge of the hike for canceling last minute on the sunrise hike. Sorry!) Toke was absolutely wonderful! He went above and beyond and made everything very comfortable and was very efficient. We all chatted during the long car rides about everything and Toke seemed like he was our long-time friend! He even got the awesome VW 181 car for a few days for us and it was so refreshing traveling from site to site in that retro car. We were so lucky to be in Bali during a Balinese holiday and Toke even invited us to his family’s village to experience first hand what the ceremony was like with his family. The only minor adjustment we would have made is that we were not aware that the one day Nusa Penida tour was with other tourists through another tour company. That was a bit of a shock as we didn’t see many of the things on our list. If we had known ahead of time, we would have been willing to spend more on a private tour. It was still a beautiful trip and we are glad we went! Thank you Toke and Wayan! We had a wonderful time. Bali is absolutely beautiful and we would love to go back someday. Please ask for Toke to take you around on your private tour! He is the best! He snapped so many amazing pictures for us and is a super friendly person!

My teen kids really enjoyed the day biking through the countryside and small villages. Our guide was fantastic showing us so many interesting sites, especially how the people work together to make a better community. Highlights were the giant swing and the fantastic lunch. Totally recommend.

We used these guys and would highly recommend them. Our guide was great for the trek up the mountain (the sunrise is completely worth the early start and the relatively difficult climb in the dark). Our drivers also took us to the coffee plantation and for breakfast/lunch at a nice place overlooking Batur.

We had the most amazing two days. Made, our tour guide, driver and now friend was very professional, polite and knowledgeable. He made us feel comfortable, and super cool on his vintage car while playing excellent tunes! Two days I will never forget. We did waterfalls, temples, gates all north of Ubud. The time was well organized. Riding on a vintage car in those beautiful Bali roads is just a must! PS: Made takes amazing pics!!!

My private tour with Wayan was nothing short of spectacular thanks to his professionalism, prompt communication, and heartfelt hospitality. He helped design and execute an excursion that was a well thought out balance between must-see main attractions and off-the-beaten-path sites that made me feel as if I had an insider perspective. I’ll never forget cruising through the back roads of Ubud, flanked by lush rice paddies on both sides of his vintage Volkswagen convertible, and closing my eyes to reflect on how that moment couldn’t be any more magical. There are many tour guides in Ubud, but what stands out about Wayan’s experience is Wayan himself. He shared many tales about his family, culture, and Hindu ceremonial traditions that helped us develop a strong rapport. He also brought his professional camera and took outstanding photos that showcase my adventures far better than what my iPhone could capture. And finally, Wayan’s hospitality was genuine and rivaled what you’d expect from upscale hotels. He anticipated my needs before I even did, and on several occasions helped care for my belongings which helped avoid a crisis. I am so grateful to Wayan for helping make my trip to Ubud one that I won’t soon forget. If I could give him a six-star review, I'd give him a seven.

The staff were all very friendly. The market tour before the class educated us in lots of local produce as well as some tastings. The best thing was walking around their own garden to collect some ingredients for our cooking. The food selection was for both vegan and meat lovers with plenty of food cooked to satisfy even the biggest appetite. Very worth while experience and a must do in Bali.

This was a great day out and we would thoroughly recommend it. We were picked up at 8am by Maddie (??), a very friendly guide. His knowledge and obvious love of Bali helped make our whole day a super experience. The car was very comfortable,given that some of the roads are quite narrow. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt so relaxed. Quite a lot of walking but never to strenuous. Having lunch in an organic farm cooking class ( we didn't cook) was also fantastic. Also while walking through countryside at one point and just coming upon some elephants from the elephant park was spectacular. All in all an extremely worth while day and we're still talking about it all !! .

Thanks to Budi 😊 and Wayan. I couldn’t recommend this company enough. From start to finish they took care of all the details and were able to custom tailor a tour will minimal details from me. I enjoyed all the sites they selected and the photography skill is a huge bonus. I suggest renting the Volkswagen thing. It’s definitely the best way to cruise in style, we had more than a few “nice ride” comments by scooters whizzing by. The experience was accommodating and professional from start to finish. I never felt rushed or like I was being carted around. Budi took initiative in explaining Balinese culture and the beauty in its art. Because of him I fell in love with this island of the gods. Forever grateful.

We had a wonderful four days with our guide, Madé, and driver, Nyoman. They were reliable, polite and hard-working, and committed to giving us a happy time. The vehicle was comfortable, cool and clean. Our itinerary was tailor-made for us, and we had a great time chatting about the places we visited and everyday Balinese culture. Can absolutely recommend this to solo travelers as well as others. Had the pleasure to have Mr Gecko as a driver and we went several places and he had a lot of intel on all the things you want to know as a tourist. Had a great day !

We had the pleasure of being driven around by Made (Mr Gecko), in a vintage Volkswagen for the day. Our stops included Tegunungan Waterfall, Luwak Coffee Plantation, Burat Volcano, Gunang Kawi Temple, and Tegalalang Rice Terrace. Mr Gecko was a great guide, very friendly, informative, and always willing to go the extra mile to get a good picture of us two wherever we went. It was the perfect tour for my Wife and I on our honeymoon, allowing for great sightseeing and pictures. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore in Bali. Thank you Mr Gecko for an amazing time and sharing the culture with us. It was a great time.

We just spent two days with the most resourceful and helpful tour guide, Made.. Bringing us to the nicest places we've seen yet in Bali. Temples, waterfalls, ponds, good food... Everything We did 2 full days of tours from Ubud going to all the top scenic spots while also a few hidden gems along the way. Highly recommend taking this tour and be sure to ask for Made Sukadana to ensure you enjoy as great an experience as we did.
