From the road we are opposite Rosso Vivo restaurant and the Hard Rock Hotel. On the beach you will see Longboards with the Bali Surf Class logo. If you have trouble finding us, contact us our instructors will give you directions or meet you on JL Pantai Kuta.

I had such an amazing beginners surf lesson on Kuta beach. The instructor was enthusiastic and eager to help me improve. The whole experience from start to finish was great - the meet up was easy and everyone was really helpful and accommodating. Big bonus was the amazing pictures and videos that they took and were sent to me afterwards! Thank you so much for a brilliant surf lesson and for helping me to stand up on the board!! I will definitely be back next time I'm in Bali. Would highly recommend booking your surf lesson here!

I arrived like 30 min before and they were super chill and decided to start the lesson before. The instructor gave me the basics outside the water and then went with me. I was able to catch some waves an everything.

Fantastic surf lessons for the whole family. Thank you to the team for a wonderful experience. Our kids (7) and (10) had a brilliant time, as did the parents. The instructors were very patient and explained the technique very well. They even provided some awesome videos and photos, which was a welcome surprise. Thank you team!

My family of six had an amazing time. Our 4 kids are aged 7-14 and they were all able to do it with these guys’ help and instruction. They were fantastic with the kids and helped us all get up and have a wonderful time!

This was such an Awsome experience. I highly recommend these guys. They were professional and patient with my 5 kids, all of them managed to stand during this session. We are absolutely going back before our holiday ends.

Absolutely amazing surf lessons. You practice on dry land for a few minutes and then go out. The one on one instruction is awesome and super fun. You’ll take a break halfway to catch your breath and drink water that they provide, then back out. They also put bags in a locker for you, and take photos and videos! Rash shirt was provided as well. Absolutely great experience, I recommend to everyone

The activity is booked through Tripadvisor (Viator) but the actual operator is Bali Diving Class. We booked for 12pm slot but since the tide was still high so we wait for about 30 mins. until the tide starts to go out and wave smaller- easier for beginners. The class started with some practice on the beach about how to paddle and stand up. There are staffs sitting a couple yards away, chatting and smoking with some guests (I guess) and the smell of cigarette fume is quite unpleasant. The lesson was only about 10 mins. and then we were brought into the water. After about 30-40 mins, our coaches (Wiski and Bagus) told us to take a 15 min. break and afterwards, we practice for about another 20 mins. The lesson ended at about 2:10pm (we started at 12:35pm so it fell short of 2 hours. Both Wiski and Bagus were quite dedicated in helping us and during the lesson, me and my nephew did make it a few times standing up and surfing all the way to the beach.
I took a surf lesson (beginner) back in 2015 too (can't remember the name of the school but it is also just across the road from Kuta Beach). The charges were about the same (approx. USD30) but it was structured quite differently. We were first taken into an air-conditioned classroom and all the dry land practice was done there. The instructor then also talk about simple mechanism of waves and how should we read them, structure of the surf board and how one design different from the others. There were lockers for free storage and shower. (Oh, there was a swimming pool in that school where we can use it for free afterwards too) These are NOT provided this time. I guess for a loosely structured surf lesson like this, it won't make much difference if one just walk to the beach and pick any of the diving lesson operators along the beach.

The coach was very attentive and gave me specialized instructions to meet my needs. He watched me closely and gave me tips to improve. The best I have ever done.
