Good. but we have note for something!
This is the first time we come to bali, and we ask them to arrange our trip, we really want to go to Ubud, Handara gate, and Lempuyang temple so we ask them are we able to go to all those place. they suggest for the ubud tour only, and we don't think it's good enough, we want to go to all those places, but from everything they said we ended up to go to Lempuyang and Tirta Gangga but not to go to Ubud and handara. After arriving at Lempuyang, it was not so special because we visited the temple was very crowded with visitors, it took 2.5 hours to wait for the queue to take photos, but that's okay, because we were fascinated by the beauty of the temple, just a little disappointed because the situation is very uncomfortable. after that we went to Tirta Gangga temple, very nice, a pond full of fish and interesting photo spots. The Lesson: Before traveling, we must research, the distance and where the place is located, what we get there and how the situation is. also the distance between destination from 1 with others can be different from the map. and maybe we should trust in the tour agent that arranges the trip. over all is good, i'm really like guide and driver, they both so friendly and tell our everything about Bali i really don't recommended the Lempuyang tour if you don't like climbing the stairs and crowded situation. Thank You.

Terrible tour, no flexibility, barely spoke English. Awful day. Would never use! Don’t recommend
From the beginning this company was very difficult to deal with and were showing lack of good customer service and inflexibility. I should have gone with my gut instinct and cancelled my tour after my bad first impression, but I decided to give them a chance. My mistake. They were just terrible! A very very overpriced waste of our time! We were so disappointed and cut the tour short so it would be over. Biggest waste of money. I booked a private custom day tour through Viator. I booked a custom private tour because my friend and I wanted to go to very specific places, not places where the guide just felt like taking us. Or places where they would get their “kickbacks” from. If you don’t want to have your customers choose where they go, don’t offer a private custom day tour! This company is a typical Bali tourist trap and does not provide a good customer service at all! Everything seemed to be a problem for them, there was no flexibility, everything we asked for the answer was no and the service was poor. The guide also did not speak English very well, and he wasn’t very friendly. My friend and I did not feel comfortable. The driver didn’t speak any English at all. The minute we kept declining places that the guide wanted to take us to and we had no interest in, he stopped making any effort or conversation with us and just slept in the car during the drive, or just spoke to the driver in Balinese. It was very rude and we did not feel our business was valued. I took a day tour with another company the day before which were just amazing and I wish I could have gone with them instead. We knew that we would not be able to fit everything in we wanted because of the distance to get there but we wanted to go to lepuyang temple (stairway to heaven) and the tirta Gangga water temple. The whole time he was complaining about the time and the traffic. I struggle with the heat and had an injured leg and I told him that I wouldn’t be able to walk too far and he didn’t really care. I was told by a different person I could get on the back of a scooter to get to the top so I could avoid the big walk but he said I couldn’t. The walk was a big struggle for me but I did do it. There was going to be a very long wait to get our photo at the gate if heaven and it was very obvious that he did not want to wait or for us to stay there that long. We could tell after 2 hrs of waiting he was not happy so we left. I was very unhappy for the rest of the day because of this as I wanted that photo! We went to the water temple which was very crowded. We were not there long as it was very very hot. We then were taken to this awful place for lunch where we couldn’t choose what we wanted and the food was disgusting. It was also very hot there and flies everywhere. It was only 1pm and he kept taking about needing to go because of the traffic. We felt we couldn’t go anywhere else so I told them to take us to Bali collection shops. The guide slept the whole way back in the car. He had some good knowledge of Bali culture but he was not a good guide. We were very disappointed in the tour, found it to be a waste of money, and I would never recommend your company to anyone. I will be contacting Viator to request a refund.

River was beautiful, rafting company was unprofessional
We asked hotel to send us on a rafting trip. They arranged it but, we received no confirmation, no information, didn't know what company it was what to bring or expect. Sitting having our morning coffee and a driver from Payung rafting comes running in saying we have "one minute" to get in the van. After one hour driving around we arrive at some place. The workers there were rude in an attempt to get funny. Laughed when we had no change of clothes. We didn't know about the lockers or anything. I even asked if they serve food after the trip and got a head shake. They then charged us IDR450k each at the counter. I learned later everyone else in the group paid 350k. The rafting started out great. The raff guide we had was skilled. However, there were several rafts altogether in our group. The guides made some jokes acting like they accidentally splashed someone ir the raft got stuck. The jokes devolved into customers (strangers) splashing each other and other rafts any chance they got. It would have been a peaceful fun trip without all the constant high school antics (and without getting soaked). Wd were then pleasantly surprised yo se other customers getting food, apparently, included in the trip. Food was good. Try a more professional raft company.

          Complete spiritual visit
A very complete journey to know more about religion and culture from Bali. Our guide was lovely : discrete helpful by answering our questions or taking care of our children if needed. We felt very safe with driver as well. The temples are amazing. The visit of cooperative of spices and coffee was very nice and peaceful: we have a charmant discussion with worker. The only very negative point was the restaurant: amazing view but really bad food with some doubt about hygienic standard

          Great day out
Our guide with his driver took into consideration what we wanted to see and took us to some really interesting places. They were friendly and full of local knowledge. We had a great but tiring day out.

Most of trip very enjoyable and guide pleasant and helpful. Tourists and large festivals need prior planning.
This is difficult to explain as this was my wife and my first trip to Bali and first out of our resort. Most of our day was very interesting and enjoyable but we were later involved in a crush of people at the Besakih temple, where there was the temple’s regular 5 yearly festival. It was useful to pay for a guide and an inclusive day as any extras fees etc were included and we were advised what to photograph to avoid causing offence, helped with sarongs etc, and “protected” from hawkers and any unofficial temple guides. I need to say we haven’t attended an Asian religious festival, indeed from the news have concerns about the risks of crowds. In the UK we expect stewards and the police to manage crowds and expect to be directed for our safety. We were met by our guide Conor and driver and agreed on the schedule. I asked if we could go to Besakih first due to the heat, but Conor said it would be cooler, at 300m elevation than other places. We could include a trip to a batik outlet, which we visited first. Conor was very pleasant and we found it easy to ask him our many questions about Bali. We visited Batuwan temple, Gao Garba, Tirta Empul, and then to a tea/coffee tasting, which was fun. Conor told us that he had visited the festival at Besakih the previous day, and it was a big one. He asked if we really wanted to see it, and I replied that I did. I could see on the map we travelled a long way around, I don’t know what the reason was, it had not been mentioned. The other temples were busy including tourists and worshippers but the event at Besakih was in a different league, and it felt hot to us particularly as we needed to walk nearly 1 km uphill. The area contains many temple complexes and they were all busy with different groups and celebrations starting and ending, so we couldn’t go into any areas or see much. We walked around the main Pura Penataran Agung but descending the other side of it we came across a large event in the Pura Pedarman, which was full of worshippers and with a lot of people waiting in a walkway hoping to join in. The three of us tried to move forward then waited on the spot. Others were coming down behind us and everyone was contained within two walls. Then some forced themselves forwards and made the group more crammed. Nobody seemed to be aware of the risks or was taking control. Eventually I suggested people got up onto a ledge on one wall. People helped my wife and I and Conor and we tried to help others, and that was how we left. We didn’t want to go to the justice house at Klungkung. In Europe I am used to companies recommending or advising on matters of safety. In this situation I think Balinese companies should assume most visitors from abroad, cannot assess beforehand their own safety re Balinese festivals. I don’t know how it can work in Bali, but I recommend tour companies like I Bali Tours assess regularly the tours they can offer and decide if parts of the itinerary are unsafe on certain days. Then contact the customers early to confirm times, advise against part of the trip and if possible offer an alternative, or cancellation without charge. The vehicle felt comfortable and maintained, but as UK tourists we would feel safer if the driver wore his seatbelt.

          An Incredible day in Bali
We arrived in Bali on a cruise ship and, knowing we had a free day, had booked this tour. Our guide, Noman, was excellent. We explained our time constraints due to needing to make it back to our ship and he worked with us to make sure we maximized the time we had. While at the sites we visited or while driving in the car, Noman shared the history and culture of Bali and Indonesia to truly enrich our experience and deepen our understanding. The driver was great! We found this tour to be an exceptional value and a wonderful way to spend a day in Bali. Thank you Noman and I Bali Tour.

          Not A Custom Tour
The day before this tour, I had a pretty long list of sites and temples I was interested in visiting. I knew that we were not going to be able to see all of them, but I figured he would know how to best navigate to get to see a few of them. Many of the things on my list were disregarded and it was clear that the tour guide had a very generic tour planned. He seemed tired and I would not be surprised if the same monotonous tour was given all the time: go to show, crowded temple, coffee tasting, gross lunch, less crowded temple, rice terrace, drop off at hotel early (advertised is: Your private full-day Bali custom tour includes an English speaking driver/guide and a private vehicle for 12-hours). It seemed there was a partnership with many of the locations we visited. For instance, the lunch was horrible, absolutely horrible. I told the guide about food allergies in the morning, the lunch was a buffet with almost no food I could eat, the place with ridden with flies. There were no other tourists at the lunch spot, and we had no say if we wanted to go there. It was a huge disappointment and we were pretty hungry for the remaining tour. We ended up spending money to go to a rice terrace even when we expressed that wasn't something we had any interest in seeing. In addition to the $130 we spent on the tickets through Tripadvisor, we dished out an additional $70-100 for entrance fees and sarong rentals. It was a lot more money than we expected. There were a few gems.. we really liked the coffee tour and one of the temples.

Amazing views with fascinating exotic Balinese dance!
We went with a guide and a driver they were both were nice and helpful. On our way to Uluwatu we were given water and we stopped by a testing place for tees and coffees (Luwak). Very delicious but expensive. On the Uluwatu there we a lot of monkeys. Unfortunately my Friend got bitten by on of the monkey on the big toe. It wasn't deep. Turned out that the monkey wanted my friend's sandal and he got it. After that we went to the guide and she took us to the first aid. I helped my friend clean the wound and with Beta-Tamponade. The guide said that all of the monkeys are vaccinated. The guide also bought my friend new sandal. Nothing happened and the wound healed the next day. Dont lean to close to the monkey guys! The Kecak dance in the beginning was quite boring and after we read the play description and understood a lil bit it became very understandable. The background sunset view is amazing, breathtaking. I cant describe it with words. After the dance we were taken to dinner in Jimbaran. I find the food was ok, could be better. But the view is amazing. I am satisfied with the price and the service!

          Highly recommended!!!
I booked a two day tour, a rental car for 1 day and an airport pick up and drop off. And all our need was met. From booking it and communicating it with Ibu Nanda to the actual day of tours. Our driver and our tour guide, Ibu Agung was always on early on time and very friendly. I also did a little bit of last minute changes with our scheduled plan, and we were happy because they were very flexible to accommodate our needs without extra charge. In one of our trips, they provided dinner and Ibu Agung brought us to a very nice restaurant that served crispy duck and it was so delicious. Overall, I and my family were happy with the service they provided and would definitely book with them again if ever we go back to Bali. Thank you again, Sean, Rowena, Joanne, Tristian

          Ubud Tour
I enjoyed this tour especially the bali swing but we were not able to go to ubud monkey forest. ☹️ Because our guide said it was close/the road was close. (Either of the two, coz i forgot what she said) maybe she said it because she was tired. I dunno. That’s what I feel.

Nusa Penida day trip - waste of a day
We were picked up at 6.30am and taken to the port at Sanur by 7.15am. Our driver who picked us up from the hotel was nice enough to tell us a few things about the journey to the port. We arrived and were given tickets for the boat to Nusa Penida and had to wait an hour to board. You have to walk down the rocks to the beach as there are no steps. There is no quay at Sanur, so to get on the boat you have to get in the water first. They collect your shoes in a basket and then dump them on the way out of the boat. Needless to say, don't wear nice shoes! They will most likely be ruined by that time. The boat ride itself is fine. We arrived at Nusa Penida around an hour later and were met by our driver there. He didn't even say what his name was. He spoke very little English and told us nothing at all during the day. I had to keep asking where we were going and do we need anything with us. He did take some nice photos of us and knew the best places to take photos. You spend most of the day in the car driving on really bad roads, which was so uncomfortable. Out of 6h on the island, we had 20min at Angel's Billabong, 15min at T-Rex Bay, 90min at Crystal Bay (actually not that crystal after all), 30min for lunch (half-decent buffet) and another 45min waiting at the port for the boat back. The rest of the time you are in the car. Once we got back to Sanur, the tide was higher and there were so many boats arriving at the same time making the waves even bigger. Not having a quay to get off, you have to jump back in the water. I ended up completely in the water to my waist, meaning I spend the journey back to the hotel in wet clothes. If you have lots of time to kill while in Bali and don't mind spending 3-4h in a car on the most uncomfortable journey of your life, then by all means you should do this trip. If you prefer to enjoy your time better, don't waste your time. Both Angel's Billabong and T-Rex Bay have some level of climbing hills etc in the scorching sun. The views are nice but not worth the money or time wasted.

Did this on a recent five-day visit to Bali. I've done lots of snorkeling around the world and even gone SNUBA diving on Kaua'i, so I thought this was a fun thing to do (especially since my wife doesn't care for any water activity with a snorkel in your mouth). The ups? (1) they deliver as promise, giving lots of fish swimming around you, (2) lots of staff to teach you and to escort you on your "walk", (3) all the facilities you could possibly want! It was a really neat way (albeit quick) to see the underwater world.

I didn't come out thinking that I would be rushing back, though. While they do NOT rush you through the event, you definitely do feel like part of an assembly line process. I understand that this is how they ensure that they make money, but it didn't make the activity feel special. Also, I didn't like how they give you food to attract the fish. It didn't bother me that it was nothing more than a couple of slices of white bread, but the fact that you carry it underwater in a plastic bag that I can easily imagine that numerous tourists lose each day when they do this. I don't have a solution for this, but with all of the problems with plastics in the water and on the beach I was constantly afraid I would add to it! (3) If you are looking to do this, try to do it first thing in the morning. With so many people going into the water, a lot of sediment is stirred up so the water was quite cloudy, even though we were going into the water around 10:30 AM ... I can't imagine what it would be like during peak tourism season in the afternoon after so many people had been there (this is not to dissuade you from going but rather to say it would be better to go in the morning, than afternoon.

So would I do recommend it? Yes, just know that you are getting what they advertised with only about 15 minutes in the water with your helmet on. If anyone from Bali Ocean Walker is reading this, I would recommend that your staff who trains the guests from the dive boat tell people that water is SUPPOSED to enter your helmet up to your chin from time-to-time. All three in our party admitted to panicking when this first happened and that if we had known to expect it, we might have been uncomfortable with it at first, but definitely would not have panicked!
