- 727gregw0 contributionsGreat & Friendly StaffWe are staying at Ramayana and are having breakfast every day. The staff are amazing. Puspa and Agung Lanang gave great service. I would highly recommend if you are planning to come to Bali this restaurant is well worth visiting.Written March 10, 2025
- Robert I0 contributionsInteresting Eko tourInteresting and shocking exercise. This place is an eko initiative to grow Mangrove around Denpasar. They planned thousands of new trees. The shocking is the amount of plastic everywhere brought by tides. For sure a very educational and interesting tour. Make sure you have a long sleeve shirt and long pants as you are exposed to the sunWritten March 10, 2025
- 474darryll0 contributionsRamayana resort stayThe rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is old style and makes it hard for elderly people when climbing in for a shower. The odd numbers room face the beach and main road. The breakfast is substantial as you would expect with most Asian hotels and plenty of choices. The service is even better smiling ☺️☺️ faces that greet you wherever and whenever you see them.Written March 8, 2025
- 690fionaf0 contributionsFab day cooking experience.Tommy was the best head chef. Ian and I came home with a renewed energy to cook Balinese food. To Tommy is a good teacher, we learnt new things about Balinese cooking . Enjoyed the market experience as well.Written February 28, 2025
- Andrea M0 contributionsNot worth it. Dodgy SIM card.We used Bali fast forward as we used a similar service 5 years ago and it made arriving much easier. There is no longer an arrival lounge and it’s really not worth it. It was nice to have a friendly face meet us at the gate and take us to immigration but because we had done our visas online ourselves we went straight through anyway. We just waited with him at the luggage. I also ordered a SIM card and this was very dodgy. Some kid met us out in the carpark and we were pulling out passports and doing deals with people all around. Our hotel driver was very concerned about this. Not what I imagined and not at all necessary. A waste of money. Get your visa on line so you can go straight through immigration and buy a SIM card from one of the stands in the airport. Or ask your hotel in advance to order it for you. They will need your passport details so best to do it somewhere secure. Not in the car park!Written February 9, 2025

- 754jacintav0 contributionsNOT A SCAMWhen my friend and I first booked in for this tour we thought it was a scam, however we were pleasantly proven wrong. Tekila was a great driver who was super talkative and very friendly who drove us to each activity and made sure that we were super comfortable. Despite the weather being rainy the 4wd tour was still really fun and ponchos were provided by our driver who also made sure we were still having a good time. He also helped us take amazing photos and due to the weather we were lucky enough to be the only ones on the tour. The hot springs we also mainly got to ourselves, however I think this was mainly due to the weather but if it was a hot day I think the water would’ve been too warm. The lunch location was beautiful and the coffee plantation was also a pleasant way to end the day.Written January 26, 2025
- Sandy M0 contributionsThis place is a hidden gem in the north of Lombok . Set in a rainforest natural environment. Well worth a visitGreat day here. Takes about 2 hours to walk through and a restaurant fro a drink or lunch if you need . The staff amazing . The setting was a gorgeous shady rainforest feel . Animals all so well looked after. Guide takes you around with basket of fruit to feed everything . Little restaurant at end for food and cold drink . We paid extra for son to sit and cuddle play with orangutang . Was something I’ll never forget and 100% recommend. About 40 mins north of Sengiggi but well worth a visit !Written January 22, 2025
