Ari and his team should be your only choice for a Bali guide and driver! He was recommended by a friend nearly 10 years ago. It was my first trip to Bali and my first solo travel ever. He was my driver for the whole trip. I felt safe and secure, and so well looked after. My trip wouldn't have been as amazing as it was without him. Ari is so knowledgeable and welcoming, and truly passionate about his Bali. I got to travel with Ari again when I went back with my boyfriend a few years ago now, and he was singing his praises too. I was in Bali on bus and had only 2 days to go sightseeing in Ubud. With a limited amount of time, I trusted Mr. Ariawan to customize a tour for me based on my interests. He certainly succeeded in doing that and was a wonderful and fun guide who knew when to chime in with useful information and when to give mw my own time and space to reflect. He was also full of good tips for my own exploration of Ubud, tips that saved me time, money and kept me out of trouble. I highly recommend the tours and services of this company.

I highly recommend Ari and Wayan. If you have found his Trip Advisor page, congratulations, you can book your holiday transport and tours with him and be confident that you are in safe hands. Ari was quick to respond to all my questions and was patient and helpful as we tried to work out an itinerary that made the most of our short time on Bali before we moved on to the Gilis. We started on email but switched to WhatsApp as it is so much more accessible. Ari was totally reliable, always waiting for us in the morning and we felt safe and comfortable with him. He picked us up from the airport for our hotel transfer and then arranged for Wayan to collect my daughter from a later flight. One of my concerns had been where to change money safely - Ari stopped off at a reliable money changer on the way to our hotel for me. Don't forget though to use your own calculator and count the money..... Driving around Bali always takes longer than you might think as nothing appears to be that far..... but there is a lot of traffic, something that Ari explained during our itinerary planning. We enjoy an 'active' holiday so here is what we fitted in with Ari's help - Day 1 we travelled north to the Blue lagoon, Aling Aling waterfall (5/10/15m jumps) and natural waterfall slide. We took the medium length trek. Finished the day with a pleasant visit to Ulun Danu Beratan (the 'floating' temple). Day 2 early 2.30 am drive to Mt Batur. Ari had arranged the guide who was waiting to take us up to see the sunrise from the top of the volcano. We took the difficult route, but if you would like to do this and are not so mobile, he may have an alternative route for you. Afternoon to the Ayung river and Red Paddle for white water rafting. Day 3 Wayan drove us to Jatiluwah Rice Terraces where we were almost the only people there (unlike the busy rice terrace closer to Ubud). Views were stunning and we had a lovely fresh coconut at a farmer's stall. When I mentioned that I would like to buy some Batik Wayan made a phone call to see where to take us. The shop had a great selection! On our last day Ari was taken ill but arranged for Wayan to take us to Jatiluwah. Wayan was also a great driver and guide and we had a really enjoyable day with him. So we highly recommend Ari and Wayan and will use them again if/when we get back to Bali which is the highest possible compliment. Thank you Ari and Wayan for making our stay on Bali so memorable and special.

This is the 3rd time I've visited Bali and booked tours with Ari. We have had groups from 2 people to 11 people, and he has catered to the varying needs of all group members without any problem or request for additional charges. On a recent trip 2 of our group weren't feeling well, so he arranged to drop them back to the hotel and bring the rest of the group to meet up at the next stop - no problem, no extra charge. even though it was out of the way. We have arranged custom tours to do specifically what our group was interested in, and he had great recommendations for us. His knowledge of culture and history is excellent as well as his English. He has been consistently reliable, punctual and honest.

Ari is a wonderful person. If you would like to see the real Bali you have to join a tour with Ari. He has so much to offer for his customers. He know a lot of the Balinese culture and will show you the best places with the best views. No wish will be unfulfilled. I recommend anyone who wants to see hidden places, local people and to take wonderful pictures to spend time with him. You will not only keep Bali but this great person always in good memory because Ari will make Bali to an unforgettable experience.

We hired Ari for 11 days and had the most fantastic time in Bali. This is our 4th time to use him and it is because of Ari that we keep coming back. He truely is the BEST. He is knowledgeabel about all of Bali and even arranged a trip to Komodo Island for us. He has his hands full with us and does everything we ask with a great attitude and smiling face. My husband and I were in Ubud for 2 days, we booked a day tour to visit the Tegallalang rice terrace, tegenungan waterfall, monkey sanctuary forest and Ubud market. Wayan was our guide and driver. He was very friendly and told us a lot about Ubud. On the way to different destinations, we passed by the wood crafting village and silver village and had the opportunities to visit a few shops. There was absolutely no pressure in buying. I would recommend anyone who wants to do a private day tour in Ubud to go with Wayan!

We had an amazing time on a half day tour, Ariawan was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and a really safe driver too. We would definitely recommend and use again ourselves.

I found our driver Ariwan on tripadvisor and sent him a textmessage on Messenger from Holland. He responded immediately and we made an appointment for a couple of days in Ubud. He picked us up in a very good airconditioned car and showed us all the highlights of Ubud and learnt us everything about the Balinese culture in perfect English. He is such a friendly and helpfull person, he made our trip to Bali special and unforgettable.

We have just had the most amazing day. Totally recommend this day tour of Ubud. Coffee plantation, Monkey forest, Elephant Temple and waterfalls. Such a amazing experience. We contacted Ariawan after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and were very happy we did! Ari responded promptly to our requests and we ended up doing two tours with him. He was a safe driver, spoke very good English, and made both days a lot of fun. Ari was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the temples and the island of Bali. The countryside around Ubud is beautiful, and well worth spending several days or more exploring. Highly recommend!
