No guide, no contact available on the number listed!
Tour guide didn't show up. No staff at pick up point had any idea. Hope we get our money back. This seems to be a scam. Avoid.

Not quite the high standard of intrepid tours I have experienced before.
Our guide was very good and explained with enthusiasm and gave us a variety of food options. However at the end to get to the dessert option we were required to pay for a uber/taxi for us and the guide. I am sure the food at this place could have been resourced close to where we already were as it was an option for breakfast at the villa the next morning. Maybe not the drink that was presented with it? I thought the taxi could either have been included in the price or at least we should have known about it prior to the tour!! Still plenty of food............. Necessary, I am not sure about that............ a touch disappointing

Great cooking class experience with lots of fun
We had a really fun time cooking with Bu Herni. The meal we cooked was delicious and consisted out of a great variety of jawanese specialities. She also had a really good way of teaching which made the experience even better, because we learned so much new! She was very flexible to adjust to our vegetarian needs.

    TERRRRIBLEE!!
If i could leave a -10 i would. We booked this tour but the people involved never even reached out to us. But we also reached multiple times before the actual event to no avail. We spent quite a bit hiring a driver to take us to Kuta from Ubud which is a very long drive. Once we got to the location listed on the ticker. There was nobodyyyy there !!! We waited for 30 mins and continued to call the number on file to no avail. Please DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM THEY ARE A SCAM. Currently waiting for a full refund plus the additional charges used for the driver. What a waste of time and a big disappointment

Would've never find these GEMs otherwise.. GREAT Experience!
We found Good Indonesian Food from Street Food Fiesta in Berawa. Ani was our tour guide... We found the best lamb satay ever! Then we went to get duck, and spicy mixed rice.. And ended up in the best Balinese Suckling Pig - Babi Guling. Can't describe it in words. This must be experienced!!! Thank you for the best insight in town.

Amazing street food experience in Bali!
I lived in Bali for quite a while but never tried any of the foods in the places we’ve visited on this tour! Can’t describe with words all the good emotions we’ve experienced this evening, variety of meats from goat meat to pork and duck, from sweet & sour dishes to spicy and original Indonesian and Balinese foods! Tour guide Ani was very friendly and helpful in explaining the ways of selected dishes or spices being made. Must visit!

    Downtown Denpasar is a Delight
We had a fabulous tour of the market and stroll through local parks to sample lumpia (spring rolls) and other street food. The guides were knowledgeable University students who were able to answer all of our food questions from our group including a dietitian and Le Cordon Bleu chef. So interesting to see the pace, produce and locals at the market and the wide boulevards of the capital.

    Bad booking experience
Disappointed. I used these guys 3 times the last time I was in Bali in 2017. Was excited to go on the walking tour. You should have a chat with whoever is running your whatsapp and booking accounts because it was a very frustrating experience. Booked a walking tour on Tuesday evening for Thursday morning and was told that it is enough time to give notice over whatsapp. Everything was confirmed and locked in. Then I get a message on whatsapp saying that the tour is full and that they can’t take us (on Wednesday afternoon). Very frustrating as we’d already paid and had planned other activities around the tour.

Above and Beyond Food Tour Experience
Two thumbs up for Astrid Prajogo, the brain behind this Food Tour and Bli Puri Ana, our guide for Ubud Heritage food tour. I took foreign journalists to experience Bali from its culinary attraction and they couldn't stop saying that it was the best food tour experience. We got a chance to see the making of the best babi guling 'bu Oka' and bebek betutu 'pak Rimpin' as well as cooking class with one of Balinese Master, I Gusti Nyoman Darta. How they preserve their heritage and at the same time serve the best Balinese food in my life, are above and beyond! Envy me enough?

    Informative street food tour
I had been to Bali a few times but I still found this to be an excellent tour as I went to places where the locals eat In fact at the 5 placed I saw only one foreigner out of maybe 100 people. The 5 places were from different parts of Indonesia. Our guide Dinda was excellent.. Very informative and excellent English. Plenty of food.

    Highlight of our trip!
I love food tours when I travel, and this experience was no different. We went on the Ubud Foodie Walking Tour and the Kuta Street Food Tour. Both tours were full of delicious food at restaurants that locals visited. Our guide Ratih (both tours) happily answered all our questions about Indonesian culture and food. I highly recommend booking a tour to enhance your trip!

    beautiful real Indonesian food
This tour was absolutely fantastic and is highly recommended that you do this tour on an EMPTY EMPTY stomach! My partner and I were lucky to be the only ones on this tour and our guide Dinda was just amazing! She was very friendly and knowledgeable and patient :) the places she took us to were all so unique and although we tried to find similar places like this to eat during the rest of our stay, it just didn't quite compare!! One place was unexpectedly closed during this tour, which our guide wasnt aware off but we didnt mind because it shows that each establishment doesn't cook special goods for visitors and diners from this specific tour. Everyone is served the same beautiful meals and Dinda was able to quickly find an alternative for us right away! My absolute favourite place has to be the fried duck from Warung Nasi Bebek Bu Rimas ( hope I got that right!)

A multi-course stroll off the tourist track
Dinda was a great guide with exceptional English and very personable. She was prepared with wet wipes and hand sanitiser - which are necessary. The markets were interesting and we were able to try food that we wouldn't otherwise had dared to. The variety of food was good, and there was definitely more than enough to fill us up. The pork skewers were really tasty! We had the chance to choose our own traditional snacks and take them away since we couldn't have eaten another bite. There was a good balance of food and drink. Be prepared to walk a bit though, but the upside is you get to see some nice sights and learn a bit about Balinese daily life.

My partner and I joined Ratih along with another couple in the Denpasar Night Food Tour. During the tour you will learn about Balinese culture and history as well as dine at warung's/food stands you would not normally try whist in Indonesia. You are taken to popular local restaurants and given very LARGE portions of varying dishes - all flavours which were completely new to us. Definitely go on an empty stomach as we were full 20% in.

Ratih is a lovely and bubbling guide and couldn't recommend the tour with her enough.

We have been coming to Bali now for almost 20 years and finally we ate real food like the locals. Our guide Ayu was super friendly, organised pick up and drop of from our hotel in Sanur (at local prices), spoke perfect English and is very passionate about local food and Denpasar. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions with ease. But most importantly of all, she showed us many real local dishes and markets (we didn't see any other westerners during the whole night) - from Duck eggs cooked in char coal to chickn feet soap, snail sate, goats curry, a truly suckulent Babi gulling with LOADS of crackling and many more... Thank you again for a fantastic night out!

This tour rates well and my wife and I weren’t disappointed. Gets you out of the touristy areas and you experience the real Bali. Our guide Ratih was fantastic, very informative and explained not only what we were eating and the history behind the dishes but the culture and day to day activities around the area. Be prepared to try lots of food you won’t go home hungry! Recommend highly..

We very much enjoyed this tour. We ate local food that we would not have ordered ourselves, from places that we wouldn’t have ordered from, such as street food vendors in the park and the markets.

During the course of the tour we visited a traditional wet market, the aforesaid park that was full of locals exercising and socialising, and Denpasar’s largest night market. Over the course of the night we tried about 7 different dishes, and we were very full by the end.

Our guide for this tour, Ayu, was very professional and spoke good English. She ensured we were well supplied with drinks, wipes and hand sanitizer, and even arranged transport back to our hotel in Seminyak.

This was an interesting and informative tour. There was a lot of walking, but it was at an easy pace along well paved paths.

After being picked up from our hotel in Nusa Dua, we (myself, wife and two daughters - 10 and 12) headed north and were dropped off in Denpaser where we met our guide.
We walked through the markets, watching the hustle and bustle of life which was really good to see, was quite eye opening and gave a good insight to daily life.
We visited many street vendors cooking all sorts of tasty looking dishes, and along the way we tried suckling pig, nasi goreng, mie goreng, pork and duck satay, lumpia (Balinese spring rolls) and a feast of other dishes and finished with sweet and savoury martabak (pancakes), before heading back to the hotel.
We always do a local food when we can, and this a very very good experience.

This was such a cool tour! We stopped at places that we wouldn't have stopped at on our own as tourists. We also stopped at night markets and saw some of the most neat places in Denpasar. Our guide also spoke great English and explained the foods well. She even bought us whatever we requested to try at the local markets!

My wife and I went on this tour and our guides were wonderful. They were patient and waited for us while we fed stray dogs and cats. We were able to see the Way the locals eat away from all the tourists. I can’t promise you will enjoy all the food you try but I can promise you’ll have a nice evening and be glad you went.
