SCAM. They took my money but guide didn’t show up. When I called, said he wasn’t feeling well. Tour than said that tour was completed.

We enjoyed the mystic Varanasi on this amazing tour with our guide Manish, he was a nice guide throughout the tour and helped us to taste some delicious local foods as well.

We enjoyed a lot the Boat Ride in Varanasi! It is worth waking up early to enjoy the increadible sunrise in the river and the views of the ghats from the boats. RJ was our guide, he is very friendly and attentive. After the boat ride, we could enjoy the free tour arroud the streets of Varanasi with RJ. We had few time for the visit but he arraged it perfectly to our schedule. We ask him to visit “the street life in Varanasi” and he showed us small streets of the city with good explanations. Is was a very nice tour! Thank you!

This tour is not worth it. It’s ridiculously expensive for what it is, given that most of the food can be sought on one’s own tours of the streets. We were also taken to Baba Lassie, which whilst delicious, is not really “off the beaten track” in terms of wanting an exceptional, authentic food experience. Our guide was lovely, however didn’t adequately explain the names of the food we ate or what they consisted of or the history of those dishes to Varanasi. We were also taken AS OUR FIRST STOP to a place that serves bhang thandai. We weren’t against this, however it’s pretty un professional to load your guests up with bhang before a walking tour. Luckily, my sister didn’t drink her thandai, otherwise I don’t know how we would have made it home safely. Interestingly, our guide instead drunk my sister’s thundai, and from then on, was even more difficult to understand. He was lovely, but high as a kite. Certainly not worth the money - you can source all the meals experienced on your own, in your own time and not when under the influence. Was fun, but definitely wouldn’t do this tour again.
