Your tour starts with a pick up from the hotel. You will be then driven towards the Elephant Conservation and Care Center. A Wildlife SOS project, the “Elephant Conservation and Care Center” was created in 2010 in collaboration with the state government. The elephants housed within the care centre have been rescued from gruesome situations, some being forced to do hard work under harsh conditions without any safety and care. Get a chance to see the mammals enjoying their life under utmost care. The center currently inhabits around 20 elephants which includes 12 females and 8 male elephants. You can easily watch some of the elephants roaming freely and enjoying daily walks within the center, which is full of natural vegetation and have enough open fields, making it closest to their natural habitat. Moreover, the water pool facility also allows the elephants to play and bath in the water. After the tour ends, you will be driven back to the hotel.

6Nights , 7 Days trip to Gangtok, Lachung
Had booked a Package with MakeMyTrip for (2N Gangtok + 1 N Lachen + 2 N Lachung + 1N Gangtok). MMT was ignorant of the road conditions to Lachen , so had to stay in Gangtok for an extra day. Lachen roads were not opened after oct 2023 floods. (Always better be sure about these things from other sources) But the trip was very well co-originated by MMT field staff( Ruzbeh, Abhinay rai, Asad Bharati and Santosh Kamble). Very grateful to them. 1. Day 1- landed at Bagdogra airport and briefing and travel to Gangtok , reached there by 7:00 pm. Scenic view on the way and slow moving traffic also. 2. Day 2- Nathula pass, Tsongmo lake, Baba mandir (this needs permit) only 4 wheel drive allowed to Nathula pass. Returned back by 3:00 , went to MG marg and roamed around.(Permit required for all of these) 3. Day 3 -Gangtok sight seeing rope way, Hanuman tok, Ganesh tok, Bhaktang water falls, Tashi view point, Rumtek monastery , Ban Jhakri water falls and returned back by 6:30 4 Day 4 - Gangtok to Lachung ,(started at 8:00 AM) Lot of water falls in between, Bheem nala water fall is very nice. Breath taking views on the way. Teesta river on the way. Single road with lot of curves. Reached Lachung by 2:00 PM. Was raining in Lachung , so relaxed in the hotel rest of the day. (Permit required for Lachung). 5. Day 5- Yumtang valley , zero point, hot springs- Started by 8:00 AM saw blooms of Rhodendron on the way. Spent some time at zero point, experienced a light snow fall. Visited beautiful Yumtang valley and reached back hotel by 3:00 PM. Relaxed rest of the day. 6 Day 6- Back to Gangtok (started at 6:00 AM) reached gangtok by 12:00 AM. Visited Do Drul monastery, Namgyal tibetology institute and returned back to hotel 7 Day 7- Gangtok to Bagdogra via Darjeeling(due to road diversion) Started at 4:00 AM and reached Bagdogra by 11:00 AM. A memorable trip , grateful to all the drivers and the MMT co-ordinators

      4 nomadic Aussie Ladies
Gets Holidays were amazing in tailoring a Essence of South India tour to the needs of 4 mature ladies. We had a private car and drivers who were absolutely fabulous and looked after us like family. The hotels were all comfortable and clean, the staff were always in attendance for our every whim. We saw parts of India were the country side eas breathtaking and were the Western tourist trade has not yet become overwhelming. We were lucky enough to meet the friendly locals who greeted us warmly We absolutely loved our trip and would recommendl you give Getstravel a go, you will not be dissapointed.

Spiritual Journey in Kashi, Bodh Gaya, Ayodya and Prayag
Gets Holidays was fantastic! They answered all my questions quickly over WhatsApp and email, and everyone I met from the company was super punctual. Our driver, tour guide in Varanasi, and even the local tour manager all showed up right on time. The tempo traveller we used was clean and comfortable, and our guide in Varanasi was friendly and helpful. Plus, they even gave us free bottled water throughout the day, which was a nice touch! A big part of the trip's success came from the excellent hotels I stayed in at each location. They provided clean and comfortable accommodations, a welcome respite after a day of exploring temples and sacred sites. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a relaxing and hassle-free stay. I was fortunate to have a fantastic guide by my side throughout the journey. Their expertise on the history, mythology, and significance of each place was invaluable. They brought the stories to life, deepening my understanding and appreciation of these holy cities. The guide's passion and knowledge went beyond facts and figures; they were able to share cultural insights and local customs, enriching the entire experience.

From the people to the services, everything has created a unique experience in India. Each guide and especially Mr. Singh Narender, our driver, gave us confidence, safety and a lot of rich information. Along with an ethical and respectful attitude. We will keep talking about what we saw, felt and discovered.

A wonderful experience, good advice, support and value. Highly recommend.
We have just finished a 29 day private tour of India with Gets. A massive thank you to Deepak, our agent for his professionalism, advice and support. Deepak personalised and extended a tour of theirs, to suit our interests and budget. Excellent safe drivers, lovely hotels to fit our budget and style, quality tours. We experienced Holi, saw wild tigers and elephants, and ancient buildings, but most of all loved the welcome and the care of the Indian people. Highly recommend this company (especially if you get Deepak!) and country.

Grateful for a beautiful trip to India
We highly recommend GeTS Holidays for a trip to India. We did a private tour to the classic Golden Triangle and added two days in Varanasi, which added greatly to our overall experience. We had very good guides and an excellent driver who took us from one city to another. We chose 5* Indian hotels and were very pleased with the quality of accommodations and the very friendly service. We'd note that in Jaipur, we stayed at the Shiv Vilas Palace, where we will never forget the warm welcome with musicians, 10 staff members, carnations and a saffron beverage on arrival. The hotel was not very busy, and we hope they will have more business in high season. The Taj Mahal in Agra swept us off our feet. Delhi is mind-boggling. We focused on the history and architectural sites and were deeply impressed. We recommend the rickshaw ride through the market Chandni Chowk. We added the Akshardham Temple visit on our last evening in Delhi and were amazed at the size and craftmanship of the temple and grounds. As it was the eve of the Holi Festival, many Hindi people came, which made it an even richer visit. We thoroughly enjoyed the Indian food and stayed mostly healthy. Varanasi is a very holy city and we had our most memorable moments walking through the crowded streets and witnessing the Ganges Aarti evening ritual, as well as taking a sunrise boat ride on the river. Some friends thought Varanasi would be too overwhelming - cremations on the banks of the river and crowds of people - but we were grateful to see it all. It is a different world.

      Southern India Temple Tour
Start to finish a great tour organised by Mr Azhar and Mr Santosh. Our driver Mr Zakir was waiting for us at Chennai airport when we arrived. The 17 days was a trip through history. We visited beautiful Hindu temples, Christian churches and basilica and a synagogue in Kochi. The boat trip in Kerala was good, we had the whole boat to ourselves and the crew. The tour of the spice garden was very informative and enlightening. We paid to have a local guide at each of the places we visited, their knowledge was spot on and it was so worth doing. The Kathakali dance was picturesque but for westerners like it's a bit hard to understand. The martial arts show we saw was the best 300 rupees I've spent in India. We paid for breakfasts a part of our tour but local food and drink was tasty with local choices. I like a beer but it wasn't always available in Kerala, any tuk tuk driver will take you to the local government outlet to buy it. Hotels varied from 5 star to what we'd class as 2 at best, but all were clean. Our driver was a great guy and we felt very safe, he arranged extra visits to a tea plantation, grape plantation [non alcoholic wine only] and stopped whenever we saw anything that caught our attention. We had a 5 day beach break at the end at Turtle Beach resort which on reflection was too long, there is nothing around it, no bars on site and only the one restaurant. My top tip would be if you do this tour from Europe arrange to fly home direct to a hub like Dubai from Kochi airport. We flew back to Chennai which was a mistake on our part. GeTs Holidays is a good reputable company and we recommend it. You'll transfer your payment in dollars to their bank in Delhi. It seemed strange in this world of card payments but it works perfectly and safely. This is our second tour with this company, a great experience each time.

      A quick run around
I had sort of half a day in Delhi on a Saturday, I had a few places I hadn't been, and this tour ticked all the boxes. Both Shailendra, the guide, and Ved the driver were Bob on time. We went past the India Gate and Parliament Ved slowing to a crawl so I could get some quick snaps in. Shailendra was a mine of information on the tour stops Dilli Hatt, Qutub Minar and the Lotus temple, but also kept the coveration moving along during the journey and we touched on the world economy, the US Presidential race, the health benefits of yoga, the Neme tree and various Natural Herbal remedies. A thoroughly enjoyable tour, the pace was good ( I am sadly no spring chiken) and the conversation informative and entertaining. Ved the driver was a very professional driver. At no time did I feel unsafe, no mean feat with Delhi traffic

      An excellent tour
It was very professional JF and very illuminating. The guide was very knowledgeable. Although the border ceremony was very crowded during the holidays the guide’s clear instructions made it easy. The langar operations at Golden Temple are not to be missed!

Thank you for this wonderful day! I hope more people will book this tour, instead of touching or even riding elefants! I felt that you all love these animals so much and it was just touching my heart! I just hope that one day people will learn and respect nature and animals and stop thinking that we have a right to capture and use them!
    May you all be blessed!

We spent the day at the elephant conservation center in Agra and we had an amazing day! Learning about how wild animals were mistreated in India was so sad but seeing that they were really well taken care of by SOS wildlife was great. We spent the day learning about the different elephant there and how they were taken care of. After, we visit the elephant hospital, we prepare their meals and then we went for a walk with them. It was an amazing day and certainly a must in India! Thank you for everything!
