    Day 1: Udaipur (B, D)
    Start with pickup from your Udaipur hotel at 7:30am and transfer to the hotel for the tour. Have breakfast then take a city tour, beginning with a boat ride on Pichola Lake, and a visit to Udaipur City Palace, the biggest palace in Rajasthan. You'll also stop to see a private mansion —Bagore-ki-Haveli — built in the 18th century for the prime minister of Mewar. Have lunch, then head to a residence that once housed the city's royal family. You'll have dinner at the home, then return to your hotel for a free evening.

    Day 2: Udaipur - Mount Abu (B, D)
    Relax during the 3-hour drive to the mountain resort of Abu, which features a cooler climate and more than 80 Hindu and Jain shrines. Check in and have lunch at your hotel, which overlooks Nakki Lake. In the afternoon visit the Delwara Temples, a must-see Jain pilgrimage site with intricate marble carvings and soaring architecture. Later, watch the sunset light up the sky during a boat cruise on Nakki Lake. Return to your hotel for dinner and have the evening at your leisure.

    Day 3: Mount Abu - Kumbhalgarh (B, D)
    In the early morning, pay a visit to Mount Abu (Guru Shikar), which is the tallest peak of the Aravalli Range at an elevation of 5,650 feet (1,722m), then check out Adhar Devi Temple, a famous Hindu temple. Continue by car to Kumbhalgarh for hotel check-in and lunch, then set out for Kumbhalgarh Fort, also known as the Great Wall of India. Take a safari to tribal villages by jeep, then watch a folk dance and music performance before dinner at your hotel.

    Day 4: Kumbhalgarh - Dungarpur (B, D)
    Have breakfast before your drive to Dungarpur and check in at your hotel, which was formerly owned by members of Dungarpur's royal family. Cruise by boat on the calm waters of Gaib Sagar Lake and stop at the bird sanctuary if you like. When you come back to your hotel, relax with an Ayurvedic massage before dinner.

    Day 5: Dungarpur (B, D)
    Visit top attractions around Dungarpur such as Deo Somnath Temple, Vijay Rajrajeshwar Temple, the former royal residence of Juna Mahal, the State Museum, and tribal villages.

    Day 6: Dungarpur - Udaipur (B, D)
    Depart for Udaipur after breakfast. Upon arrival, check in to your resort and have lunch overlooking the lush surroundings. Then board a jeep for an evening safari to Jhadol where you view migratory birds from the comfort of a resort. Follow the bird-watching with a barbecue dinner, before returning to Udaipur.

    Day 7: Udaipur - Fort Chittorgarh - Udaipur (B, D)
    Drive for about 2.5 hours to reach Chittorgarh and visit Fort Chittorgarh, the largest fort in India and designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. After a tour of the fort, have lunch at Castle Bijaipur then return to Udaipur. Your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel in Udaipur.
