A great introduction to India with diverse experiences. My driver Dileep was excellent. He was professional, courteous and helpful for the entire 2 weeks. The local guides, engaged by Swastik were also good- full of information and helpful photo ideas. The stay at Deogarh Mahal palace was a highlight- gorgeous rooms and great meals and staff. The rest of the accommodation was hit and miss in terms of location and/or the reliability of power and water. This is the reality of India. I had a great time and would like to thank Karin for his help when organising the trip and Dileep for assisting me with anything I needed and his great driving skills.

The driver Mahi was extremely professional, punctual at all times. Also, he was a brilliant driver, helpful, and he went above his call of duty in solving issues of concerns. He went out of his way, and found safe, clean toilets on route I recommend you request him as your driver, finally he spoke excellent English and he was a very good listener and extremely polite young man.

We had loveliest driver, Pradeep, who was extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful during our entire trip. It was a fabulous experience and we'll definitely be back to do another trip with Pradeep! Susan

Four of us just finished the 10 day trip to Jaipur, Jodphur, Udaipur and Agra. Booking was a breeze and Karni was most obliging in making customisations to the tour. Great communication and he responded promptly. Hotels were of a high standard- we opted to upgrade to 4 star option. You can also swap out for any hotel if your choice. Guides were mostly great in each city. Shelley was great in Jaipur. Our driver Takhat was amazing- he really made our trip and was so obliging and patient. He went above and beyond and had a great sense of humour. ( also he was a very skilled driver)I would recommend requesting him if booking a tour with this company. The only area we considered for improvement was a larger vehicle for 4 adults plus luggage on this longer trip. All in all I highly recommend this company and would definitely book with them again if visiting India.

Amar was amazing as our personal driver we had an incredible time in India! Even though Amar was not fluent in English he did his best to communicate we used a translation tool and it he made us feel so welcome it was easy! Top tips you get a different guide in each town which is really cool because they are local and give you all the tips! Never pay full price people expect you to barter, tip as often as you can even if it’s a little so you can acknowledge people who carry your bags etc, especially if you can afford it. This country is beautiful and ask many questions your guide and driver are happy to help you xx thank you again! Will be back for sure!

Paradeep is a very nice driver and we visit such beautiful places even with the guide each time. It was a wonderful trip and I recommend India Swasticks journeys and Paradeep.

Everything top notch. We were worried it said 3 star hotels. But the planned it and every hotel fabulous. Great driver yogi. Took care of us drove safely lol which is hard here. New car. We had an amazing time in the golden triangle. The guides adapted to our interests and spoke English very well. Our private driver Pradeep was a life saver!! VERY GOOD and cautious driver. Very helpful, friendly and also gave very good advice in what to do / find where.

We did a 9 day Golden Triangle tour including Rathambore (to see tigers and so glad we took this option). It was a well organised tour and value for money. Basically we were driven to the various cities and there met a local guide who showed us around. I would recommend this tour but with some changes that we would have preferred. The company was very easy to deal with and very flexible. So first thing we would have done is upgrade our hotels. It's a cheap tour so expect 3 star accommodation. We upgraded only once in Agra (I'd recommend the Radisson - you can see the Taj Mahal from your room). Having said that none of the hotels was bad, just we like something a bit better and in more tourist type areas. The company also went beyond expectations and organised my train tickets for after the tour. A note regarding our drivers - we were told we would have the same driver for 9 days but we had two. The first was fine but didn't say much and spent his time (whilst driving) on his mobile phone - but did his job. The second driver was so good!! He drove (no phone) pointed out interesting sights on the journey even though his English was not great. He offered restroom stops too. Each evening he offered and took us to a great restaurant, waited until we were done then took us back to the hotel. I wish I knew his name. He deserves a promotion :)) The guides were fine too. All spoke good English, were flexible in what we did and tried hard. I would use this company again.

I did the India's Top Selling Golden Triangle India Tour w/ Meals and Sunrise Taj Mahal This tour was okay, pick up and drops off on time and punctual. For me it wasn’t quite the experience I was hoping for. I felt I was rushed around the sites in India I’ve always wanted to see. At times I didn’t have chance to take my own photos because the guide was strides ahead and I kept feeling like I had to keep up with him each time. I would have much rather have had time to really absorb where I was and what I was seeing. It just felt rushed and I was on their time and following behind them. The Taj Mahal was rushed for me when that was one of the main things I came to India for. I also didn’t like the pressure of ‘tipping’ ‘buying’ crafts, rugs, jewellery, tables at the end of each day. This was exhausting and not what I wanted at the end of a day sightseeing. I was dreading it. My driver Dilip was a lovely man, very friendly and chatty. He was wonderful. And my guides were great too. There were times I didn’t feel comfortable or happy at all. When I was on Dadupura I was in a position where I was handing over £100 donation for 3 wishes because I was swayed along with things that didn’t make sense to me but it all went by so quickly before I knew what was happening. I hated this, to the point where I was in tears. This wasn’t what I signed up for and I was deeply disappointed and left very saddened at the end of that day. The culture of ‘tipping’ and ‘buying’ really put me off this tour. I should be the one who decides if I tip and not be told by a guide what I need to pay each day after paying for a tour - for which in my case I paid 3 times the initial cost due to having to change tours for personal reasons. And yet I felt a constant pressure to buy and tip at every point. In all honesty it was a nice trip but the feedback I have given has made my experience not so enjoyable. I hope this improves for other travellers so they don’t feel the way I did. Thank you for your tour I will cherish the moments I had India.

My Tour with Sawastic India was incredible! I loved every minute. I felt really cared for and supported. My driver, Takhat, was superb! He was always punctual. He gave me so much practical advise to, a real expert in the local ways. I am deeply grateful for the whole Team at Sawastic, including their incredible guides.

We did the “India's Top Selling Golden Triangle India Tour w/ Meals and Sunrise Taj Mahal” tour for 5 days. The tour was excellent value for money - we loved the hotels, air conditioned transfers and included lunch. Pradeep Singh was our driver who was amazing!! He made our tour extra enjoyable by getting us to our destinations safely and through informal conversations. We recommend this tour for those who has limited time to experience Delhi, Agar and Jaipur!

Mr. Pradeep was an amazing driver. His English was easy to understand and his hospitality was wonderful. He always kept the car cool and safe and made sure we were comfortable. He even introduced us to the lassi drink! The tour was organized clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

We just finished the 11 day Taj Mahal and Wildlife with Royal Stay at Castles tour, including Delhi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, heritage hotel stays, Ranthambore National Park, and Agra. We greatly appreciated the flexibility in individualizing the itinerary (thanks Karni), the safe driving (thanks Girdhar!), and the knowledgeable local guides. A great option for budget-friendly travel!

We had an amazing 13-day Golden Triangle trip. Our driver, Takhat, was incredibly patient and cool. The local guides were exceptionally knowledgeable, engaging storytellers, and talented photographers. All our accommodations were splendid with excellent in-house food, except for Sagat Villa. When I informed the company about the issue, they promptly replaced our accommodation. Overall, we had a fantastic time.
