Safari tour close to Jailsamer. Nature and culture in the sand
All the family enjoyed the private desert experience! Rising a camel in the golden sands of the Thar desert was truly unforgettable. 🐪 But the desert isn’t just about sand; it’s a fascinating blend of nature and culture ( monuments such as temple, fort and people such as speaking with Indian and learning cooking) I highly recommend Fifu for the safari tour

        Ꭲhe Golden experiences
The drive to the camp, the friendly guide who was fluent in the language, and the many dilapidated historical buildings we visited along the way made it a wonderful journey so far. The time between arriving at camp and going to bed at night is truly a magic hour. Amazing shows by artists living in the desert of Rajasthan, exceptional food, a starry sky, and the longest shooting star you've ever seen! All of them were great memories. It's a golden time in my life, something I'll treasure for the rest of my life.

        Incredible Safari Experience
I had an amazing experience in Thar Desert! Sodha is the best guide and driver! Accomodation is really nice. Musicians and dancers during the night show are incredible. People at Fifu hotel are really kind. I recommend you Fifu Camel Safaris!

Good views of the sun set, very poor service
The sun set views were amazing, we made excellent photos. We expected a longer ride on the camel 😌 The accommodation was basic, nothing luxury. Take care of the food, it was fully vegan and rather poor quality. A special bad note to the service: the waiter behaved in a typical local way. No menu with the prices, I asked the price of a beer by word of mouth. When I paid, I was asked to pay more. This behavior was in line with what one foreign tourist experience every day there: we are perceived as walking wallets.

        the most amazing night ever
We had the chance/ honnor to try the experience proposed by Meri haveli and Fifu, one night under the stars... it was just amazing experience (2nd time for me, 1st for my friend) we reached sand dunes by camel, this is also very funny and comfortable, not too hot because it's happening 2nd half of the day, very pleasant, very calm. Once arrived in the dunes, everything is ready to welcome us, the beds, a chai, very nice and kind people (just 2 lol, it's far enough), we could talk, cook with us, and enjoy the sunset in the dunes... The show is far to be ended, then you can enjoy the moon rise, and the stars who are coming with the night, it's so wonderful... under the blanket, you watch the magic show of mother nature... at the end of th world, in India, that's just... priceless...Mr Shoda is caring for you everytime, he's just wonderful guy The dinner was just so good!!! we had eggplants curry, dhal, rice, and chapatis, alll this, in full desert... I recommend an application which is called skyview (free app), so that you can recognize each star and constellation, their trajectory, compare to horizon line, some planets we can also see: jupiter, venus... I warmly and highly recommend this tour, authentic, nothing touristic here, or not that much, you feel fully in connection with nature... bed is comfortable, sheets, balnkets, pillow, so so good... thks to you guys for those beautiful moments Elodie and Christelle (if needed you can contact me in french)

        Lovely night in the Thar
We have recently returned from our trip with Fifu Camel Safaris. Even before we booked Fifu was so helpful in answering my many queries. Does who was our guide for the duration was lovely, very polite and informative thought our time out in the desert. He really looked after us and nothing was to much trouble. The camp is lovely, the camels seem very well looked after and the food and entertainment was great. On our return we had time before catching our bus out of Jaislmer and Fifu kindly let us sit in hotel and enjoy a coffee. We would definitely recommend you booking your trip with them.

Amazing Night in the Thar desert
We just lived an AMAZING and UNFORGETTABLE experience with Fifu Camel Safaris. My best friend Pauline and I had a so great time doing this little trip. First we went on a Jeep Safari, then camel ride in the desert, then cooking lesson (dalh and fresh vegetables, making chapati) in the desert and night looking at the stars. Everything was so well organised: the fresh diner and food in the desert was delicious (Best masala Tea ever !), night on our "desert beds" was very confortable (all furniture, fresh sheets) and five stars continental breakfast ! We would like to say a huge Thank you to Sodha and Salou (and Abib) for their kindness and their smile : everything was perfect thanks to them ! We really feel we were in security even if we were 2 young girls alone in desert. We hope we can come again one day ! Thank you, we will never forget this experience in the desert. Unforgettable experience...
They were so professional. I asked the owner, Mr.Fifu to plan a private tour for us, he quickly planned nice one with reasonable price! We enjoyed super yummy village food, chai and playing kids. The villages were not at all touristic area, so you will be able to catch the glimpse of real desert village life... Mr. Fifu is responsible person, you will enjoy your trip with no any worries in fifu camel safari and at his hotel also! Highly recommend!!!

Fifu Camps was the best experience!
We really loved our safari with Fifu! At 2pm we left out hotel by jeep to see Kuldara, an abandoned, some say, haunted village, then to a lake oasis and last a small fort…then to the camp in the khouri section of the desert, where the camels were waiting. We rode the camels a short way into the desert sand dunes to watch the sunset, and then back to the camp for the cultural show. There were musicians singing and playing traditional instruments and music, but my favorite was the dancing. The two dancers were really incredible and mesmorizing. We also had a buffet dinner with traditional Ragisthani food while we watched the show. Afterwards we went to our tents, swiss tents which were really nice…with a king bed, full bathroom with hot water, AC, a heater, and all amenities. In the morning we got up early to watch the sunrise, breakfast and then drove back to our hotel, Meri Haveli. I had the best night sleep I’ve had in 10 years and would be happy to stay at the camp forever! Our driver, the camp staff, food, and accomodations were all really nice and we will definitely do it again next time we visit.

A wonderful taste of Rajasthani culture!
A really wonderful experience managed and hosted by a great team! We had a great time during the camel safari during sunset, made even better by the cultural show afterwards followed by a yummy Rajasthani dinner. The luxury tents were really clean and very comfortable, and the staff were always around to help if needed. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a safe and authentic experience in Rajasthan! :)

Desert Safari and typical Rajasthan food...what else?
We left Jaisalmer in the early afternoon and drove into the desert. We had the opportunity to ride camels in the dunes, and at sunset we cooked typical Rajasthani food in a desert cam with locale people. An experience I will not forget!

Amazing Desert Safari in quite place
This is my 3rd Visit to Jaisalmer. Earlier, I stayed at Fifu Hotel owned them. This time, I stayed in Meri Haveli. I have booked Desert Safari with Fifu-ji. They arranged Mahinda Jeep which started around 2PM. Bhojaraj Soda did job driver, guide and host at desert camp. He has working with them since 20007.On the way to Khuri, they stopped at small lake called Jaseri Talab and Khaba fort. There is restoration work going on in Khabha Though it was year end, crowd was less which is unexpected. They organized an evening camel ride to dune for viewing sunset, morning 1.5 hours camel ride to sun rise point along with campfire. There was cultural program in the evening with bon fire. Food was vegetarian with dal-bhati churma and ker sangri with rooti/naan ..etc. It was delicious. Our desert safari driver Bhojaraj Soda took good care of us. We started around 9:30 AM after breakfast and reached hotel around 10:15 AM There is a drastic increase in domestic tourists in Jaisalmer compared to 2009 & 2010. In 2009, people were telling Sam dunes were having more touristic crowd. I was skeptical this time and expecting same crowd in Khuri also. I was surprised see less crowd during year end at Fifu Desert Camp. Fifu-Ji had assured me before going that it will be quite place. This is the place for people who wanted to go quite place with no touristic crowd

        half-day trip in sandy desert
I took a half-day trip because I didn't enough time to stay a night there, but still I could experience what l wanted to do. I really enjoyed camel ride, beautiful sunset, tasty food, and also night in the desert. It was quiet and peaceful experience far from other camping villages. You can visit and take dinner in the edge of a sandy desert -- I think that is the typical "desert" travelers expect, not rocky desert.

An amazing non-touristic tour in the desert
This was my 3rd trip in the desert with Fifu, and again I was not disappointed. I was surprised to see how touristic the desert has become since I was here last time, so many big safari camps. But Fifu of course managed to take us to a place in the desert where we were completely alone with the camels and the deserts animals. And again the trip was very well organized. After a ride on the camels we arrived at our campsite, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner made on the bonfire, watching the sunset and the amazing colours. We slept on beds under the open sky and millions of stars. Really a memorable experience. Thank you Fifu 🙏

I have been to many places in India and outside but I have not found as safe as I did in Jaisalmer. Cherry on the cake is FIFU ji himself. He provided us the most comfortable stay and suggested the best activities given our hectic work from home schedules and the interest to explore. This experience was his recommendation. At the experience in Sam (sand dunes), we enjoyed star gaze when lights were off, camel ride, sand, an awesome meal and an amazing cultural show (I have seen many Rajasthani performances on multiple trips (including those at five stars), none brought tears of happiness, this is how much I was in awe of the art that was displayed. God bless the entire team. You are great because you take care.

A nice, off-the-beaten-track day/night excursion in the desert with a night in a very comfortable Swiss tent (toilet, shower, etc.), dinner and dance show in the evening of very good quality! Sodat, our very pleasant and caring guide.... we recommend without hesitation....
