It was awesome the whole show from make up to the performance. Very punctual started and completed on time. Mind blowing experience.

We got there early to witness the makeup artists at work; it was totally worth it. As the performance has no words and thus requires facial emotions, they showed how effectively the eyes can be employed. The show was captivating and perhaps the perfect time for tourists. I really liked the drums in the music.

One of the best places to go if you only have a short amount of time to see the culture of Kerala. Here, you can see the tradition of Kerala in the form of dance and acting. They will prepare and put on their makeup in front of you so you can see how the fascinating dancers of Kerala do their makeup and look. This is a must-see location if you are in or near Kerala. It takes about two hours to learn about the culture and tradition of one of the oldest communities in India.

When the performers sit in front of you on stage, doing their makeup with tiny hand-held mirrors and the lightest of touches as they morph their facial characteristics, you are drawn into the show from the time you enter the theatre. After about 30 minutes, the dancers leave the stage to be replaced by the musician with his enormous drum, who then joins in with the presentation of the amazing eye movements and hand gestures used to portray the emotions that are continually changing during the performance. Immediately after that is finished, the dancers return to the stage fully costumed in their ornate costumes and make-up to bring a mythical tale of princes and demons to life. One that should not be missed!

A really essential experience for any tourist to Cochin, this fascinating and amusing evening! It's possible to arrive at 5 o'clock and observe makeup being performed, which is incredibly fascinating. A brief excerpt of Kathakali is then shown after a demonstration of the dance's symbolic connotations. A must watch!

I booked a package to be picked up in Kochi to go to Munnar and do the Kolukkumalai sunrise walk. It was a great experience: my driver was great, very knowledgeable (and a good photographer): he would suggest certain sights and shops on the way from Kochi to Munnar, making the long drive fun and entertaining. Kolukkumalai at sunrise is gorgeous! And the tent stay was fun as well (pack warm nightwear!) - and the food delicious!

The makeup, the intro to Kathakali and the performance, all three together created a beautiful narrative.

Amazing experience witnessing the kathakali art. They give you a script prior to the show. I strongly suggest reading it before the play starts since kathakali means story play (without voice) so in order to understand what the artists are trying to show.

First of all don't plan it on a Monday as some attractions are closed. But being said that the travel operators and especially the driver Mr. Mohan were very accommodating. All in all great experience.

I am really grateful to have such an amazing tent stay at Kolukkumalai tent camp. Due to the pandemic I was unable to travel since 8 months and I want to be isolated for a few days to get rid of all the frustrations. The person called Niju responded to all my inquiries and his support was ravishing. The destination is a bit untrodden and hill area and needs permission from Forest Department to enter. My trip was in a jeep. The predominant attrations are Sunrise and Sunset. Thank you Niju and Expertise Travels who made my day.....

These waterfalls are the most remarkable falls I have ever seen and enjoyed. Amazing, superb, extraordinary is not the word that can describe the beauty of this falls. We got an opportunity to see a good number of elephants as well as different varieties of birds. I am speechless and do not know how to express or put in words my experience.
