About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- gregory59williams0 contributionsExcellent culinary adventure!Terrific way to be exposed to delicious culinary delights and to places most tourists would naturally venture into. Awhile was a brilliant host and gifted with lots of local knowledge. The walk was an easy pace and he questioned our requirements thoroughly before tailoring the tour to our specific needs. As stated previously by many other reviewers, bring a he arty appetite. Tasted such a range of delightful local dishes. Ahkil is a great conversationalist and very personable. We were sad to say goodbye. Thank you, Akhi, you definitely showed us an extremely interesting perspective of Alleppey and we are very grateful.Written January 7, 2025
- Anna Z0 contributionsThis tour does not existThe meeting point is in Jaipur, I pay in advance and I can join the tour if it exist. I try to call the agency but they replay only to the chat and give me wrong information. Worst experience possible. Don't buy it.Written January 6, 2025
- 663jasleeng0 contributionsGood intro to ThiruvananthapuramA great introduction to Trivandrum. Our guide, Gokul, was well informed, engaging, and shared many interesting perspectives about the city with us. We waljed through many scenic parts of the city and were able to appreciate the nice intermix of gardens, architecture, history, and daily life. The stops at the markets were particularly fun as Gokul told us about the various items being sold and helped us pick out some new fruits to try! Learning about the history and context of Padmanabhaswamy Temple was also a special highlight. The only changes we would recommend are including a quick juice or snack stop along the way (to help make the long walk towards the railway station seem less exhausting in the heat of the day - perhaps a pitstop at Pothys will do the trick), and incorporating more elements of "off the beaten track" history that the walk description hinted at.Written December 29, 2024
- Lou73Lou0 contributionsOnly way to see the temples in trivudanThe guide was so sweet and patient. I was alone on tour and we took longer than 2 hours I am so pleased I took as one would never have found all these temples, learnt about each temple and deity. I went at the 5 pm slot and it was sublime for puja time We went to so many temples. It is a huge complex. Anyone going I would suggest doing with Sid. I am female solo traveller and was extremely comfortable.Written December 27, 2024
- 330krunals0 contributionsBrilliantGokul had a wealth of knowledge about the local food and area. He explained every single food and the history behind the place. As I am a vegetarian he tailored the tour accordingly. Nothing was too much as he was very friendly and helpful. All the places i was taken and food was absolutely amazing and traditional. I highly recommend booking this food tour. It is an experience you will not regret.Written December 24, 2024
- janerI4665TK0 contributionsNot to be missedWe had a lovely time on this walking tour. Our guide was very calm and relaxed, and made crossing roads easy! We covered a lot of topics and he happily answered questions on a range of topics. We were so fortunate that the end of year fine arts exhibition by university students was on and we spent some time there. Such talented work! It started to get dark during the walk and seeing the city at night, lit up was beautiful. I highly recommend this tour and our guide.Written December 19, 2024
- zvonicek0 contributionsA very nice tour with SiddharthI did the Heritage and Cultural Walk with Siddharth as a guide and it was well worth it! He is a really good and knowledgeable guide and helped me to understand the historical, political and cultural context that I was missing during my 2 week stay in Kerala. In addition to that, he is very friendly and approachable. I recommend to ask enough of questions to take the most out of the tour!Written December 5, 2024
- saartjemart0 contributionsMade great memories on this tour and had a ton of foodThe food walk with Akhil was the perfect way to experience local foods. We had a ton of food (bring your appetite!) and walked at a comfortable pace from place to place. It was great fun to discover these eateries in Alappuzha and to swap stories with Akhil who is an avid traveler as well. Thanks Akhil!Written November 15, 2024
- 21selwyns0 contributionsGetting to know a city in a few hours. We were fortunate to have a very knowledgeable guide who shared his appreciation of the city and its history. The half day tour gave a very good overview of key places.Written November 10, 2024
- LetsGoSightseeing0 contributionsExcellent, informative walkExcellent walk with Vishnu! He informed me about the history of Fort Kochi & how it has seen a colonial & cultural evolution. As i was travelling solo, Vishnu was also extremely helpful in clicking my pictures. When two hours turned to three, I did not even realise!Written November 9, 2024

- Fun_Bobby770 contributionsJewtown Tour is really cool!Very interesting tour and history of the Jewish quarter. - ozkiwis0 contributionsGreat Tour, Great Value.Had a fabulous morning with Akhil, tasting our way around Alleppey & would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves good food & good company. Akhil happily changed our starting time to suit our schedule, and he also modified the tour on the day due to the very hot weather which we really appreciated. We tried so much local food & went into places we would have never found on our own. Akhil always asked our preferences & offered options at each stop. Being Vishu Day, a special festival in Kerala, we also got to partake in an incredible feast on banana leaf to celebrate the day. Don’t hesitate to book this tour if you want to really experience local food & daily life.Written April 30, 2024
- dianecW1643ZQ0 contributionsGreat tour with Satish as a guide.Excellent tour with Satish, part food and history tour, all enjoyable. A really nice stroll through different areas, eating well and tasting fruits and stopping for refreshments. Definitely have a lassi drink if you’re visiting, very refreshing. l saw quite a few things out the ordinary and visited some of the shops, where was everyone polite in showing their wares. Totally recommend this tour especially if Satish is your guide, pickup and drop off was very welcomed.Written March 22, 2024
