You will be welcomed by Globes Travel representative & your private guide at the port. After a scenic drive you will begin your private tour from   Paravur Synagogue. This synagogue is no longer a functioning house of prayer but its a museum under the control of Kerala government as part of the Muziris Heritage Project. Chennamangalam and Paravoor Synagogue: Old synagogues of the Malabar Jews, constructed using Kerala building traditions, but adapted to suit Jewish ritual and liturgical requirements.   Kottakavu Church: A church of the Syrian Christian community of Kerala, believed to be the one of the seven original ones e stablished by the Apostle St. Thomas Paliam Palace (Museum): The residence of the Paliath Achans, the prime ministers to the Rajas of the State of Kochi. Pattanam. This is a small archaeological site which contains some artifacts which were traded between Muziris and the rest of the world. Afterwards, enjoy a drive to Handloom Weaving factory, a traditional cotton weaving village. Here 600 Brahmin families produce some of the most exotic saris in the country, especially extremely famous kasavu. Kuthampully Handloom Industrial Cooperative Society was established in 1972 with 102 members who maintain the tradition of native culture. Your tour continues and visit Cheraman Juma Masjid: The first mosque in India, built after the Chera king of Kerala met the Prophet Muhammad. It has been renovated several times since then.cochin return to Cochin & enjoy visiting some of the most fascinating sites in Fortochin & mattancherry like the Dutch Palace (closed on Friday). It was built by the Portuguese, and presented to the Raja of Cochin in 1555. Though built by the Portuguese, it is popularly known as the 'Dutch Palace', as the Dutch renovated it during their brief reign here. The glory of the Palace lies in the murals which are in the traditions of Hindu Temple Art. Your tour will continue with a visit to the Jewish synagogue (closed on Friday noon & Saturday). Built in 1568 A.D, it includes The Great Scrolls of Old Testament and a number of copper plates inscribed in the Hebrew Script, and are still preserved in the Synagogue. This Jewish Synagogue in Kochi stands out as a testimony for the communal harmony. The next stop on your tour will be a visit to St Francis Church. Built by the Portuguese in 1510 A.D, it is believed to be the oldest European Church built in India. Vasco-da-Gama was buried here, and fourteen years later, his mortal remains were taken to Portugal. If visitors wish to enter the church, they are allowed only by barefoot. You will have the opportunity to also see the Chinese fishing nets at the entrance to the harbor, and the mechanical method of catching fish by local fishermen in Fort Kochi. At the end of your tour you will be returned to the port in plenty of time

      Wonderful Experience
Old Thoppumpady Harbor Bridge、Jew Town、Mattancherry Palace、St.

      Mouth-watering food and enriching experience.
It was a wonderful and overall exciting experience. It was my first visit to Kerala and the enriching and soothing emotion the trip felt in my can not be described in literal words. The guide and the staff were very friendly and always ready to assist me no matter what. The food was flavorful, mouth-watering, and delicious. We did little shopping and learned a lot about the historical importance of Cochin Heritage. I would like to thank our support mechanism in Cochin and this Heritage tour The Gloves travel to make it.

      Boat Experience is Over Rated
I spent a day looking around Cochin and if you like history, it’s an interesting place. Basically, Europeans discovered India when Vasco de Gama landed here in the 1400s, so you can visit the church where he was buried. There is a long history of Jewish settlement here as well and the synagogue and old town are well worth visiting. Also, Christianity entered India through Cochin via St. Thomas the apostle arriving here after the crucifixion of Jesus, so you can investigate that aspect of things in various places if you wish. There is a fort that was established by the Portuguese, but it’s closed on Fridays so I missed it. The Alleppey houseboat exercise was a disappointment for me. Basically, you get on a floating houseboat that sales a couple of miles downriver along with a couple of hundred other mugs and parks. There, you get to spend the night on a modestly equipped tub and eat very average food while putting up with the high humidity unless you stay in your room with the a/c on. Don’t think of swimming, the water’s polluted. Unless you are looking for a room where you can b@ng your girlfriend while the 2 man crew are not too far away, I’d give it a miss.

      Don’t be scammed
False advertising by this vendor and felt cheated. Very surprised reliable sources like The Trip advisor does not check false claims of its promoted sites .From the trip description it seemed the boat trip started at Kochi , actually the vendor will drive you about 3 hours on busy roads to Alleppy ,which was a shocker. With a little kid it was difficult for us . We paid almost 26 K indian rupee for n a air-conditioned house boat. Right it the middle of the trip as the weather got warmer the crew did not switch on the AC, unless we paid additional 500 rupees for switching on the AC . That was a real cheap move . Overall we take back a bitter memory of a beautiful place. Don’t be scammed

Great Tour Operator for Kerala (India)
Just back from a magical three weeks touring Mysore and Kerala with my wife. On recommendation we got Rajesh Thomas of Globes Travel to organise our entire visit which included city tours (Mysore and Cochin), mountain stays at tea and coffee plantations, a jungle tree house, a night on a traditional houseboat on the backwaters, two homestays, a train ride, an internal flight and some luxury time at two five-star hotels on the Vembanad lake (Coconut Lagoon) and on the Arabian Sea (Marari Beach). Experience of a lifetime with a fantastic private driver (Vinsun) and expert guides. Rajesh checked on us almost daily and organised a surprise candlelit dinner at the beach resort. He was very flexible and made changes we requested as we went along. While you might consider it a risk to work directly with an Indian travel firm rather than through a UK agent our experience was wholly positive (and far more economical). The trip was delayed by Covid and Rajesh refunded our deposit without question and then rebooked us when India opened up again. Highly recommended. We organised our own flights from/to the UK with BA.

It was an amazing tour, a complete long day journey with full of fun and beautiful memories. Globe travels had arranged every thing very well, and just because of them our trip become such a memorable. During whole trip their guide tells us everything about the famous things and places and I can really say that he was a knowledgeable person. Kottakavu Church was our centre of attraction, a church of Syrian Christian community of Kerala. Not only this, every place during the trip, has their own attraction and we glad to have this pleasure. For this I would like to thanks Globe travels, to give us their helping services.

Just as we reached to the port, we were welcomed by members of Globe travel, and this is kindly heart touching. From that point we started our trip and travel to various heritage places like Malabar Jews, Kottakavu Church, St. Thomas Paliam Palace and lot of other heritage places. Handloom Weaving factory was really having a good attraction to us with their beautiful cotton materials. This whole trip was full of mixtures of cultures and traditional foods of Kerala. It felt so happy and glad to being there and really enjoyed a lot. At last, thank you so much Globe travels to make our trip so amazing and fun.
