About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 854panny0 contributionsA day out in bangalorewe had an excellent day with an excellent driver/tour guide. We are now more informed about the history of bengaluru and made many memories. We also had a very nice meal and took many photo's, thank you. Would recommend him highly.Written February 13, 2025
- Guide8199750 contributionsNot just surface level, but real insightsDiwakar, our guide, structured our tour in a very smart way. By giving us the historical background of how the British came to rule India in the beginning, the whole tour got elevated by knowing this historical background. He had a lot of insights not only in history but also in Indian culture in general. He also helped when in the middle of the tour I needed to buy something from a pharmacy and adjusted the tour to accommodate for that. Five stars.Written February 12, 2025

- clarenicheall0 contributionsA Must Do Experience.I could not recommend this tour more! If you are a food-lover, you must book. Jai was very kind, knowledgeable and good company. He showed us the flower market, fruit and veg wholesalers and then we got the Metro to have many tasty treats at a street food market. Honestly it was like eating 3 different delicious dinners - so many delicacies!Written February 11, 2025
- Ines G0 contributionsBangalore in a dayI had a very diverse and interesting city tour with the very knowledgeable guide Divarkar. His good spirits and humor made the day fly by. I personally would suggest to include the Botanical Garden only after monsoon season. During dry season it’s a bit …guess what …dry and not too much blossoming.Written February 11, 2025

- Vladimir B0 contributionsFantastic Bengaluru Tour with an Amazing GuideI had a fantastic experience on this daily tour of Bengaluru! Our guide, Diwakar, was excellent—knowledgeable, friendly, and made the day truly enjoyable. We visited Bengaluru Palace, Vidhana Soudha, ISKCON Temple, and Sri Big Bull Temple, covering a lot of amazing places in just one day. The highlight for me was the incredible traditional lunch served on banana leaves—such a unique and delicious experience! The visit to the local market was also a great way to immerse in the city’s vibrant culture. This tour is a great way to see a lot in a short time, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bengaluru!Written February 9, 2025
- Aaron86LM0 contributionsTemples, Parks, and More in BangaloreI really enjoyed my Bangalore city tour with Vignesh. He was always willing to answer our questions and be helpful and I learned a lot about the sites and culture of this area.Written February 9, 2025
- Travel4457670 contributionsGood information on templesFor me about 4.6-4.7 star, mainly because of the price. Definitely on the expensive side for India. Dawikar‘s English was good, so we could have a decent conversation. I‘m very nervous when it comes to food, because of bad experiences in the past. But the lunch place was clean and my stomach is still doing ok a day later. Due to the nature of the city, it involves quite a bit of driving. FYI, one cannot enter the parliament building. The botanical garden and the palace you could do on your own. The palace is done with a audio tour. The information on the two temples however was very good, and made the difference.Written February 7, 2025

- RHBD920 contributionsBest way to spend a day in Bangalore! What a fantastic way to see Bangalore! From the hotel pick up and transportation for the day honestly one of the best ways to see the sights in a day. Tour guide was amazing and went above and beyond to make my day top notch!Written February 1, 2025
- Marisenmarie0 contributionsI learned a lot about Bengaluru and India. I met some interesting people during the day. I would definitely recommendDivatar was knowledgeable and if he did not know an answer he did not make one up. I had a few special requests and did them all. The tour exceeded my expectations and I really enjoyed Divatar's company for the day. I got to eat some tasty food with my fingers and NOT get yelled at, lol.Written January 27, 2025
- Dream047615601970 contributionsIf you have the timeThis tour requires some driving time. The highlight for me was the silk pod market. It is a fascinating place and learning how the pods are sold was very interesting. From there we visited a toy factory. That was somewhat interesting and may have been made better if more in the history or significance of the place was shared. The toy store we stopped at had a lot of variety. We also went to a recreation of historic times and villages where artifacts and relics were housed. This was okay and was made a little confounding by having a grounds person, perhaps docent follow us through. He was speaking over the guide and was hard to understand. The place was still under some construction but it was not obtrusive. There was some signage in English that provided historical perspective and that could have been enhanced. Our lunch stop was excellent. We ate with our hand off a banana leaf in traditional fashion. Final stop was the 400+ year old banyan tree. Some historical background on the tree would have been more interesting than pointing out the obvious way in which the tree grows and expands. More about the tree origins in India would have been of interest. My guide Vignesh spoke excellent English, communicated well regarding pickup details and was very accommodating. I am not sure I would call this a folk art tour, but some of the sites were of interest to me.Written January 27, 2025

This tour was amazing! I did the 4 days to Hampi, Badami, Pattadakal, Aihole.
Mohan was my driver and he is absolutely the best! He picked me up on time from my hotel and messaged me in Whatsapp to let me know his car details. He is an excellent driver, navigating perfectly. He answered all of my many questions I had each day. During the drive, he also pointed out things along the way for me to see.
Day 1 was Hampi after checking into the hotel - Royal Orchid Central Kireeti. The hotel was having trouble finding my reservation but Mohan came in and spoke to them and got it all resolved.
My tour guide for days 1 & 2 in Hampi was Rajesh. I enjoyed his tour so much! He is very knowledgeable and explained everything to me in English that was easy to understand. He was very funny and made the experience extra enjoyable. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe and comfortable as Rajesh took very good care of me! He even helped me with what to eat for lunch at Hampi Paradise Restaurant. He took lots of pictures for me and knew the best spots and angles!
Day 3 was Badami, Pattadakal, Aihole. My tour guide was Kotresh. He was an excellent guide. I appreciated him repeating things for me and explaining everything clearly in English. It's a lot of information to take in so it was helpful that he repeated some of the stories so I could remember them better. He also took great pictures for me. I stayed at the Sterling Banashree Resort on my last night.
Mohan made the long drive back on day 4 very comfortable and feel like it went by faster.
I highly recommend this tour!

The four day tour to Hampi, Badami, Aihole, and Pattadakal was one of the most memorable vacations we have taken. Five Senses took care of every detail and were very helpful and accommodating. Our driver, Mohan, navigated traffic with great skill. We felt very safe and in good hands. Our guides, Kodresh and Manju, were very knowledgeable of the area, sites, temples and history. The hotels we stayed at were great and comfortable. This was our first tour like this and we are already talking about coming back to try another tour offering. We have friends who did a DIY Hampi tour and it was very challenging for them, from getting there to hotels, guides, knowing where to go and eat, etc. We highly recommend allowing Five Senses to handle your tour. They book everything. You just need to show up and enjoy the experience. Thank you for the memories!

I had a business trip in Bangalore and decided to take a long weekend and visit Hampi. I was traveling by myself as a solo female traveler and needed something safe and stress-free since I didn’t know the language. I had been to India before and found it challenging previously. This tour was great because I got to exposure to the rich cultural history of the area and did not have to worry about getting there/around. Mohan, my driver, was professional, prompt, drove safely and took very good care of me. I would definitely book with this company again the next time I come to India. Thank you Mohan and Five Senses.

Everything went as planned: Our driver, Danush, was efficient, helpful and on time, the car was very reliable and comfortable, the guides at all the sites were very informative, friendly and knowledgeable and provided good explanations; and, of course, the visited places were very interesting from historical-archaeological and cultural-religious points of view. In short, the trip exceeded expectations.

Worth visiting all these places. Hampi, Badami and Pattadakal are really beautiful and can admire the values and rich culture. One has to spend minimum 3 days in Hampi, 2 days in Badami and 2 days in Aihole and Pattadakal. 4 days is not sufficient to see all these places. One has to engage good Govt approved guides. Many of the guides are very good and knows the subject and history very well.

We did a tour of Hampi and Badami with 5 Senses and were extremely impressed with all the arrangements. The accommodations were excellent and the tour guides were very knowledgeable, helpful and went out of the way to explain small details. Driver Mohan was impressed us with his driving skills. Narayanan was very prompt in all communications. I highly recommend 5 Senses.
