Day Trip To Mysore Palace and Tipu Sultan Summer Palace from Bengaluru
Mysore Palace and the trip was fantastic and educational. Our tour guide Chandrashekhar and Mohan, the driver are very knowledgeable and looked after our needs. The Mysore Palace and Tipu Sultan Palace were beautiful and full of history of British Colonial injustice and occasional collaborations. Highly recommended!

    Highly recommend
I love the tour. I came to Bangalore by myself, so as a solo travelling woman I was looking for a reliable company to feel safe during the tour. Vignesh had taken care of me perfectly.

Excellent private trip to some famous historical and cultural sites in India
Everything went as planned: Our driver, Danush, was efficient, helpful and on time, the car was very reliable and comfortable, the guides at all the sites were very informative, friendly and knowledgeable and provided good explanations; and, of course, the visited places were very interesting from historical-archaeological and cultural-religious points of view. In short, the trip exceeded expectations. M & V

Just a nice experience and a disconcerting experience
5 Senses continue to arrange quality outings. Bandipur in itself was a nice way to break things up and see a different side of India. Got to see a lot of elephants but no big cats. All and all I would surely do it again and again.

    Great day tour to Mysore
Very nice tour to Mysuru/Mysore. The driver Purushotham picked me up from the hotel at the agreed time. We have visited all the “must see’s” . The local guides in Mysore (Ramesh and Kumar ) did a great job in explaining all the interesting details at Mysore Palace and Tipu Sultan Palace. All in all it was a great trip.

    Beautiful temple
I visited Somnathpur temple with car and local guide. My driver, Mohan had a very clean car, and he was ontime. The local guide (a lady) was very knowledgeable, she explained me every details of this beautiful temple - and she left me time to make the tour once again alone and to see again all these beautiful details. It was a perfectly organised tour, thank you!

    Beautiful Mysore experience
I had a customised 2 days Mysore experience with 5 senses tour. It was really great, the driver, Mohan, was ontime with a very clean car. I had Shiva as guide, he was very knowledgeable and explained every details I asked for. He even organised me an extra visit in the local market. As I was in Mysore on Sunday, we'we got the evening light show too. Thank you again, it was an unforgettable experience!

    Great architecture and history
We had a fantastic day visiting Talakadu and Somnathpur temples. The history and architecture were brought to life with great local guides and driver. Would highly recommend for those wanting something different from the usual tourist track.

Fabulous not to be missed tour for all - young to old
The tour is excellent, not to be missed. Hampi is fabulous. The Vijaynagar monuments are breathtaking - temples, musical columns, palaces, etc. Also, Kishkindha from Ramayan, Hanuman birthplace are more things that we all can relate to. And the Korakal traditional float ride on Tungabhadra river was icing on the cake. For those from Maharashtra - we know Pandharpur Vitthal is called Kanada Raja or Kanadau Vitthalu Karnataku because in those days priests escaped Bahmani marauders with the Idol across Bhima river to Pandharpur. We see the original temple here. So many things that we can relate to. Driver Mohan and Guide Manju both very courteous. Manju very knowledgeable about the area - knows all details, places, photo points etc. Both adjusted schedule to start early on day2 coz it rained on day1 afternoon. Car hotel was very good. And the place itself is beyond compare. Thank you 5 Senses tours!

Architecture of the temples at Talakadu & Somnathpur
It was really amazing, the temples were so different and interesting compared to the temples I had seen in the city. It really was amazing as I got to see the countryside as well. I loved the architecture and the layout of each temple, they were all so different to each other and so amazing. The details!!!

    Trip to Mysore
I really loved this tour so much, the guide was amazing and I got to see textiles, this was amazing to see as I am studying textiles so I was just in awe and so happy to see the cocoon market and silk factory, as well as the palace. It had so many beautiful colors, details, and motifs. Just a wonderful trip to Mysore!

Loved the open butter dosas at New Krishna Bhavan which has been around for over 60 years. Also enjoyed walking the extensive grounds at Lalbagh park. Our guide Divakar taught us the deep history of the various places that I walked away knowing Bangalore and it’s people very well.

I was in bangalore on work and had only a Sunday morning free. Luckily this food walk was available for Sunday morning. I had a fabulous time savoring all the south Indian snacks. Harish led the walk and is a great guy and foodie. I had masala dosa, idly vada sambar, mangalore bonda, sugarcane juice and the quintessential 4 yards filter coffee. We also walked past colourful bazaars and visited 2 ancient temples. It turned out to be a great Sunday morning.

Chandrasekar was a wonderful host and guide. He is a long tine resident of Malleshwaram and knew the best local restaurants for us. We went to 5 restaurants each known best for one dish! Over 3 hours we had the best dosa, idly. Vada sambar, pongal and coffee. An amazing idea for a morning walk. I would highly recommend this to all foodies who like to learn about a city through its food.

Had a great time, the tour guide was very accommodating and helpful. If you are not familiar with the city I would recommend getting the pickup included but otherwise it is a good way to taste the real food of the area!

A great tour - Prashant was in touch beforehand to arrange meeting location, and did a great job of explaining the traditions behind the dishes we ate. He was happy to answer any and all questions about that broader social and historical context, and I feel my trip to Bangalore was much better because of this. Would highly recommend.

We did a fantastic food walk in Bangalore with Chandrashekar. He took us to all the marquee restaurants where locals frequent. We enjoyed butter dosa and idli. The filter coffee was the highlight. Chandrashekar was very friendly and passionate about the local cuisine. I would highly recommend it

The Filter Kaapi trail is a fantastic food walk in Bangalore. It's a great way to savour the famous local cuisine of South India. Chandrashekar was our guide and he took us to local eat outs to taste the best of what Bangalore has to offer. The dosa we had was mind blowing and so was the famous filter coffee. Eating these local favourites in eateries is a great way to know about Bangalore and it's people. I would
recommend this food walk to everyone.

I had the pleasure of Chandrasekhar for a guide as we walked through the shady streets of the Malleswaram district. Its an easy walk and fascinating area. The three eateries visited had heritage going back fifty to one hundred and thirty years. The food was amazing, interesting spices, and a great coffee to end the tasting. I dont normally drink coffee but this was really really good. If you want to feel the district coming to life as the shops open, the food smells, the organised chaos, the culture, and the friendliness of walking an area less discovered by travelers, this is for you.

The dosa was amazing! A highlight.
