    Waking Food Tour
Ganesh was very knowledgeable about the history of the food and the city of Chennai. Each of the different places we stopped had great food and he made sure it was too my liking to know if he needed to modify where we went to next. Overall it was a fun and enlightening experience.

Very genuine non-touristy tour of night market trying lots of local street foods. Well organised. Strongly recommend.
Brilliant introduction to Chennai street food and night market. Ganesh was full of information and good humour, and really made sure we saw everything we wanted to. Plenty of time to take photos. Although we saw no other tourists and the streets were bustling, we felt safe. Tried all sorts of foods (more than 10) that we wouldn't have ventured to try on our own. Can thoroughly recommend a private tour as Ganesh was happy to adjust the tour to suit us and added some extra sights. Five Senses Tour was also happy to arrange transport direct from our hotel in a very modern clean vehicle. Make sure to arrive hungry!

Excellent local food tour- you won't be disappointed (or hungry!)
Excellent communication and custom tour with 5 Senses (we chose them after reading reviews of many companies). On the day Ganesh was excellent he took trouble to find out what we wanted, and guided us around many different typical eateries, explaining what made them special. He was a knowledgeable source of local information, good fun, and made the whole experience a delight! We're hoping to see him again tomorrow...!

    Chennai Street Food Extravaganza
I recently had a street food tour with Ganesh of Five Senses Tour Company in Chennai. What an amazing culinary experience with an amazing guide. Ganesh took me to a neighbourhood lined with food stalls, stands and shops filled with locals that I never would have been able to discover on my own. The stands were serving delicious things that I had never seen or tasted before. And Ganesh was a perfect guide : professional, knowledgeable, caring and lots of fun. I had a perfect afternoon that I will never forget.

Eat and move through the market like a local.
The Sowcarpet food tour was the real deal. We were the only tourists in sight, and Ganesh, our tour guide did a great job helping us navigate a new and interesting space. The food selection is vegetarian and a great blend of the area. You can feel the history in every corner. The communication was great, and even when another group was late to the tour, they were very accommodating. You will need to learn to move through the crowds like a local. And the excitement increases as you learn to move with the crowds. This tour is very local, and the vendors are serving very local dishes intended for local dining. If its your first time in an local market you may find the tour adventurous, which is exactly what I needed.

    Perfect intro to Bangalore
Perfect introduction to Bangalore (and to India!). Vignesh was a great guide, giving lots of history as well as details about all the sights we visited. Since I was alone they adapted the tour for me, spending time to go into the silk and jewel shops. It was a great way to see the markets and also try butter fruit (avocado) juice. They helped me to take my transport at the end of the tour and were very careful to make sure I felt comfortable and safe

    Satish satisfies
Satish was our tour guide this evening on what turned out to be, a wonderful street food tour through the vibrant and busy streets of Sowcarpet in Chennai. As a regular walking tour participant I know a thing or two and I can quite honestly say, Satish is a breath of fresh air. He mixes superb food with quality banter. He’s a very friendly character and I would totally recommend the tour.

    Fantastic local food experience
This was my first experience of Chennai (and India as a whole) so was a little daunted, but this was a great introduction. Ganesh was a great guide through the bustling Sowcarpet neighbourhood. You definitely need to have an empty stomach on this tour - the street food was amazing, and we tried many different dishes over the tour, I just wish I could have eaten more. This was very much a locals area, so was a great experience seeing everyday life - even with the sudden downpour (hiding under a shop cover with the locals). The final stop of tea and cake was a perfect refreshing finish to the tour - watching the craziness of Chennai traffic. This ended up being a private tour. As a solo traveller its often difficult to find tours that don't insist on a minimum of 2 or more people, or where you end up as the odd-one-out in large coach groups, so this made a great difference. This was the first of three tours I did through 5 Senses Tours (also Chennai City Tour, and Mahabalipuram tour), and would definitely recommend them.

    Great Street Snacks Experience
Got to try a wide variety of street snacks from Lassi to pani purri to Jaleebi to papaad. Ghanesh and Nivi are awesome down-to-earth guides. It's not a fixed commercial experience, instead I heard them arguing which stall is better. They also see what's available on the go and asked if I have any bucket list for food wanted to try. Where options are available, they will bring you to more established places for hygienic assurance. They also asked the hawker to remake the papaad so I can see the process; instead of taking off from piles where flies could have sit on. When we entered a nuts store, I can also tell that they did some bargaining for me. Overall it's a very assured experience.

    Great experience in Bangalore
We are so happy to have booked a walking tour, it was such a special way to enjoy the city. Our tour guide was Prashant and I feel like he took care of us. At the market he got special fruits for us to try and took some really great photos for us to share. Prashant taught us so much about the area, and I appreciated that he took us into a temple. I probably would have been too intimidated to go alone. We asked if we could get coffee and Prashant even helped us with that! He was so nice and professional, I would absolutely recommend this tour.

Everything was good. I went alone to this tour I feel ok, I learned more things than If I've don't this all by myself. I think temples are something to be done with a guide so we can have someone to tell us the stories.
I'm really happy with the experience and with the companion.

Unexpected and unknown (at least for me) gem of Indian and world cultural heritage. Information on such objects should be provided at hotels including Sheraton, to inform tourists upon arrival and to allow to plan their agenda and include visitation.

The history and the visits to the three temples were amazing with our guide! We felt safe and the organization was very nice. We saw the market by car because it was rainy, but we ate in a small restaurant with local specialities.
