- L2941ZDelizabethm0 contributionsGreat walking tourThis was a fantastic tour of old Bangalore. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and generous. We were able to tailor our walk around the old town as we wanted. We had a great time walking around the old town!Written July 19, 2024
- pandawilliam0 contributionsFantastic and enriching local experienceI wouldn’t have been able to go into many of the places or even known of their existence without this tour. It was a fascinating insight into the local culture and city life. The tour inside the weavers area was particularly enriching and not something you could just do on your own. I only had a day and did 2 tours- the pettah walk of the market area and the old houses tour. I’d love to do more next time in Bengaluru.Written April 13, 2024
- TrudeS1620 contributionsFun and interestingI had a brilliant tour full of exciting and interesting information, with a friendly and very knowledgeable guide. I will definitely use them again :)Written January 7, 2024
- NJRobS7870 contributionsA Most Colorful Walking Tour of Old BangaloreI found Mansoor via TripAdvisor and decided to take the old city tour. Communicating with him was super easy on WhatsApp, which came in handy as I got stuck in the crazy city traffic trying to get to our meeting point at the front of Jamia Masjid. I arrived almost 20 minutes late and Mansoor was patiently waiting and did not shorten my tour - many thanks for that! I absolutely loved going through the flower, fruit, veg and merchandise marts. Mansoor is a fountain of knowledge and relayed the information very clearly. He has a wealth of facts and history about the entire old city in Bangalore. I had the afternoon tour so lunch was included at an incredible locals place. He provided me with a great selection of foods. He also was mindful of guiding me through the incredibly tight alleys and streets teeming with people. A word of caution, there is A LOT of walking so be prepared for that, as well as the heat. I was advised to wear long pants for modesty as well as keeping the mosquitoes away. We ended the tour at nightfall at a glorious Hindu Temple. Mansoor even arranged & negotiated a tuk tuk to take me back to my hotel. I would highly recommended touring with Mansoor & Benbyfoot. Well done!Written December 30, 2023
- prokashd30 contributionsBangalore fortIt was an amazing experience to visit an historical place like Bangaluru Fort The doors are so big and enough to protect people inside, you will find big surrounding walls which are made by keeping set by one by one stone Though inside area is not acceptable and the back gate of the Fort is starting damage also inside a little bit garden also there Photography is not provided here.Written December 28, 2023

- shevans20150 contributionsToo much money for what it wasOur guide was very nice but the tour was nothing special unless this was your first ever market tour We saw a pretty flower and vegetable market and a small temple . We had quite a bit of information about the temple . Breakfast was at dosa house and then we saw the weavers and dye houses which made the tour worthwhile and these I would have never found without the guide To be fair this last bit was worth the money fir me but the rest was nothing special if yiu have seen other markets and templeWritten August 25, 2023
- Johannes W0 contributionsIntresting tour with addtional Information on various sights.Very pleasant tour with many intresting stops. True highlights are the breakfast and the various temples. In general walking somewhere in Bangalore can be challenging, but on this tour, the route is chosen such that you mostly walk on decent sidewalks or through parks.Written June 1, 2023
- Saif O0 contributionsGreat way to explore the heritage of BengaluruGreat way to explore the city that I’ve been born and raised in and still didn’t know so much about! Mansoor does a great job of covering hidden gems in the city, their local histories and connections that one usually misses out without bespoke tours like this. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience visiting the big bull temple that has been an iconic landmark of south Bengaluru.Written June 1, 2023
