For first 3 days Ashiq bhai arranged a vehicle and a driver . Mostly people like to loot you on tourist places, telling you fares touching sky heights. But Ashiq bhai being honest and a humble man , who not only charged us fairly but took care of various other stuffs during our trip, making it more easier. He also informed us about the scams and the accurate charges of other trip activities whether it is snow related activities or a simple shawl shopping so that we dont get looted. I really thank you Ashiq bhai if you are reading this review, for making our trip to Paradise of India amazing.

In addition to normal airport formalities and reporting time in Srinagar there is additional checking of baggage scanning and frisking on the way ( about 2 km before you reach to airport) by CRPF. So be careful of packing your luggage in proper prescribed way ( like sharp articles to be inside check in luggage and battery containing items to be kept in your hand luggage) . Keep enough time and energy to retain in hand. No hurry is advised. These checking is really helpful for all concerned. Be patient and co-operative with security personnel.

One of the best trips i have had in the recent times.the places were beatiful and photoworthy! Our driver Shakeel (Phone:+91 96227 09560) made the whole experience extra comfortable for us. He was always punctual & highly reliable!We could explore the place better with his good knowledge of the area. Highly recommended!

Horrible communication. Despite already paying hundreds of dollars, the driver took me to his friends shop to try to sell me junk. He also rushed me the whole tour and tried to skip many of the stops at mountain passes and temples. He had no idea that I had already paid online, so at one point he demanded cash. It was very hard to communicate with management so they could tell him I paid already. I attached an image of the driver so you know who to avoid. What's more: the driver gave his shop owner friend my Whatsapp number and a month later called me when it was 5:00am in the US.

Mr. Ashiq is a very helpful and genuine gentleman. I traveled with my son and elderly mother. We had to reschedule our plans due to my mother's sickness. He took all care and arranged traveling as well as staying at a very low price. He took care of us as his own family that made our tour very much comfortable.. Thank you very much Ashiq Bhai.

The cab was very well maintained. And our cab driver Mr Hashim guided us with all the necessary precautions and made sure we enjoyed the ride with him. His driving skills and the root knowledge of place was a major factor in our breathtaking experience. And thanks to Mr Shariq our tour manager helped us in last minute bookings and made sure we enjoyed our stay in Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalagam Hotels were very good, food was fantastic. We checked with a lot if drivers who were overcharging for the trip. I got Aashiqs number through one of the forums on trip advisor. He is a gem of a driver and drove us from sonamarg to Kargil. He knows the routes in and out. He has a clean scropio and drives safely. On Route he also gave us a lot of information about the places we passed. I had a confirmed booking through Viator and despite communicating with SS Tours and Travels since 7 days before the scheduled travel date, i receive a whatsapp message from the agency at 10pm the previous night that my trip was being cancelled as the rate paid for on the Viator website was lesser than what they expected. How pathetic they can be! They jeopardized my entire plans. I read some bad reviews about them on tripadvisor but with what they did with me I believe its a quack company. If you still want to book these jerks then you are taking a huge risk!

We got contact through kashmircarrental.com. And we directly contacted the owner (owners contact no. 7889539008) we booked a car from Srinagar to Gulmarg charges were 2000/ day trip. (Etios car no. JK 01 V 0850 drivers name - mr Basharat ) we went to Gulmarg. Owner of SS caravan & Kashmir car rental both are same that’s why I mentioned owners contact number. 1. Driver was polite everything was nice. moment we entered Gulmarg a guide came inside our car no introduction was given by driver. 2. Later we came to know he is our guide whom we never wanted. Finally I was on a honeymoon trip so I decided to go along with guide whose charges were 900 rs. He took us to boot & jacket counter, all conversation was in Kashmir we couldn’t understand anything and we got shoes & jacket for 350 rs. Whose charges were only 200 rs. We got car for 2000 rs For which charge was only 1200 rs max. 3. He forced us for sledge ride and said there is no pathway to gandola ride. Which was false information given by guide. Now the thing is the whatever price they book for sledge or ice skiing or bike. Guide gets half commission which goes to driver & further to travel agency. Information for all tourist to be aware.

Good service. Salman Ji were very polite and we found the rates to be genuine. Majid (our driver) was really good and gave us a good hospitality. We booked a car from them for 8 days. Definitely recommended for someone planning to visit Kashmir.
