The 1st our driver was late by more than 40mins and all the while we were trying to contact him, then frantically tried to contact Egyptra who completely ignored us. We then contacted GetYourGuide whom we booked these excursions on their app, they too were completely ignored and was extremely embarrased they could net get hold off the provider. The driver eventually turned up. With that said and our saving grace, our recent tour guide Safi and driver Mohammed are absolutely amazing but this Tour provider Egyptra are shockingly bad, unprofessional and discourteous. We wanted to check-in and confirm some details and they totally ignored us. Even GetYourGuide (we booked via this App) we're completely blanked. So my advice would be to find other providers for excursions as these will ignore and blank you totally when they of course have your booking and fee.Written October 2, 2024

The jeep safari driver and the guide were unbelievably helpful with my disability. To make matters worse, when I requested a refund, we were only given €9 for four people, which felt quite inadequate given the inconvenience. Crazy loon drove us across the desert and I fear nervous travellers would have hated that part. The food was ok but my son lit up the chicken drumsticks I had eaten to see blood. No repercussions thankfully. The stargazing was absolutely the most amazing bit. Using lasers would be illegal in the UK so make the most of it where they don't care!!Written September 25, 2024

First of all, I would like to say Ras Mohammed was probably my least favourite trip. The team were great in terms of explaining safeguarding, giving out instructions by Hassan. How ever, before the activity started, it took way too long it was definitely dis organised & there were too many people on one boat. I wanted to experience “White Island” but after being convinced so many times to join in with the team, I then decided to participate & jumped in the water. I was accompanied by one person who I felt was being quite rude speaking in a different language & laughing with others because I was scared & my daughter was crying. Although he helped my daughter get to White Island, I was even more unhappy that we spent only “5 minutes” in White Island. Holding the ring & wearing a life jacket still didn’t feel safe enough there was too many people & less assistance. It took too many hours & it wasn’t fun enough no music not much interaction & it’s not a place for children.
I appreciate the cook made chips specially for my daughter when they were really hungry how ever, I did get very sick with the food for adults was very poor! Hard rice, tasteless pasta & no taste.
Only thing I have left to say is, If you really enjoy snorkelling & scuba diving this would be some thing you would enjoy but I’m not happy how things went here they try to take money out of you for every little thing when you pay so much towards the activity already.

Very poor excursion.
Incredibly disorganised.
No music/atmosphere on the boat we went on.
We were told the snorkelling equipment was included in the trip & just diving would be extra.. however they charged us 550EGP - also charged for the use of a LIFE JACKET!
We didn’t see the White Island at all? Not sure why as we wasn’t told.
Made 2 stops for the diving/snorkelling however we only went snorkelling once as this was awful. I noticed many others didn’t go for the 2nd snorkel either.
Instead of a relaxing snorkel it was a swim around a large undersea rock at an uncomfortable speed - tough for me as we only purchased one life jacket & I was supporting my husband who can’t swim well.
I saw a woman struggling in the water also in the 2nd snorkel and the crew had to help her.
I think if the customers are struggling on every swim, there’s obviously something wrong.
We expected divers to go down & for us to stay near the boat snorkelling.
The crew didn’t really interact with us, only really single women or Arabic speaking men.
Husband did like the food, didn’t get the coleslaw though as I saw flies on it.
Positives -
Crew were helpful when help was requested.
We saw dolphins!

My recent boat tour in Sharm El Sheikh was an experience to remember, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure in one of the most stunning marine environments in the world. The entire trip was well-organised, and the crew displayed professionalism and attentiveness throughout the day.

The booking process was seamless, with clear communication from the tour operator regarding pick-up times, itinerary, and what to bring. We were advised to bring sun protection, swimwear, and snorkelling gear, although the latter was also provided on board.
The Boat:
The boat was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of shaded areas and sunbeds for those who wanted to relax. It was evident that safety was a priority, as the crew provided a comprehensive briefing on the boat’s safety features and the day’s activities.

The experience was very poor in my opinion.
As we were waiting for the driver to pick us up, he messaged my wife and told her we had to walk all the way up to the front gate which is a long walk for us & other trips have collected us from reception. (Drop off was the same)
The boat was lovely and clean and the crew were helpful when asked. However, we found that they didn’t really interact with us during the trip only when they were giving instructions and also one time when we were pushed to make a review there and then. He also asked if he could take a photo of our review being sent which I found very strange.
We also had to pay extra for equipment we NEEDED for snorkelling which is advertised on their page ie. Goggles snorkel, life jacket. Might as well advertised it as a boat ride and snorkelling optional. We went to 2 spots for snorkelling/diving and I didn’t go to the 2nd one because I struggled to keep up with the instructor on the first session. We basically went around in a huge circle however, rather than enjoying looking underwater, my wife and I had to keep an eye out for the instructor and keep up with him as he swam forward. I also felt that there were too many people swimming close together. I think it was difficult for everyone to enjoy the experience when you constantly have a foot on your face.
We then had some food which was ok. I suggest maybe bring your own food as it’s not for everyone and my wife said their food wasn’t covered so it had flies on them. Highlight of the trip though were the dolphins which my wife and I enjoyed seeing but never got to see the White Island which they said was the last stop and they never told us why we didn’t go there.
Overall a poor experience and wouldn’t recommend it.

We bought two dives, and eventually got one despite the money we paid. The description says that the pre-snorkeling is included in the price, but we were told to pay $5 per person. What's more, the organizers forced participants to leave a positive review, and if someone hesitated, they took their phone to make sure the review was really issued. Then they took a photo of the issued review, for unknown reasons.Apart from the fact that we paid for two dives and got one, the description said that the dive lasted 10 minutes, and it lasted a maximum of 5 minutes. All you had to do was go underwater a bit, take quick photos and you come out of the water. They were very tight on prices for photos and for two people they made us pay 70 dollars. If it wasn’t for the fact that after arguing and convincing them that we didn’t have more than 15 dollars per person, they were able to go with us to the hotel to get the money.I do not recommend it at all, and most of the positive opinions are forced.

Very nice day out. Very helpful staff. Highly recommended. Only thing to note is beware of photographers trying to overcharge for pics. Also recommend to take sea sickness tablets beforehand if you suffer from such ailments

If you are going for snorkelling then the experience was amazing, three stops in total. Though as usual most of the tours are organised with at least twenty ships all together stopping at the same sites and at the same time. The pickup was chaotic as I booked with get your guide and they have simply assigned me to any Centre (I supposed GyG is associated with different company and you will be randomly assigned to any boat. My friend and I made separate booking and I only gotta realised they have different companies after I got pickup wrongly.
The photos that they charged after the dives/snorkelling are expensive!

The trip to the Ras Muhammad and white island was fun. Amazing scene and corrals.
The crew was respectful. They need better organization tho. They told me to be ready at 8:20 but came at 8:45. It didn't bother me that much but it happened. The snorkel was very nice. Diving is worth it. It was 25 euros but quite awesome. However, they will ask for 35$ if you want the pictures and videos they took of your dive.
They said at the beginning of the trip that the white island has many sea shells but before coming on the boat no one told us to get shoes and it hurt our feet. So it's just a matter of better communication really.
They also forgot to tell us the tax for the Ras Muhammad entry 5$.
Boat didn't have music so it was perfect and chill. Overall a nice experience.

Fabulous trip! White Island was the best!!! The food was great and plenty of it, it was delicious!!
Take some snacks to keep you going.
The staff were great! Organised and very helpful.
We booked through get my guide for £13.50 and then there was another £5 charge on arrival.
Great excursion! Would book again

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip, the dive team were really knowledgeable and took time to take you on guided snorkels, or dives if you had paid to do so. I scuba dived, and my guide Mohammed was so reassuring and constantly checking I was OK, which made my whole dive relaxing and enjoyable. I even saw a stingray, and got up close with Nemo (clownfish) in their anemone. Would recommend to anyone looking for a boat excursion in Sharm El Sheikh.
