An amazing experience, truly amazing views and a once in a lifetime opportunity. Well worth the hike!
The hike is 3 hours and is quite challenging so bear this in mind. If you’re staying in Sharm it is a good 2-3 drive there and back and the bus isn’t comfortable but it’s worth it in the end! Toilets stops on the way which you need cash for. So definitely bring cash!! Especially if you want a coffee as you’re hiking up (which you will). Secondly, it’s Freezing cold and windy at the top. Definitely bring a jacket, a hat maybe and I wouldn’t recommend shorts.
