      Everything I Expected
The Valley was my best experience in Egypt. It was too amazing to describe. Don’t miss out on KV14. King Tut’s tomb is tiny, takes 5 minutes but I guess worth it. I’m glad I went but probably would not have missed it as compared to the other drawings in the rest of the tombs. Wish I had gotten to see the SETI I tomb, but was with a tour group and could not unfortunately.

I got a very nice and interesting experience, which I already miss
The tour was excellently organized. Our Guide's name is Ahmed (Guide Frodow Ahmed). The guidance was soveraign and very friendly to all of us, both adults and kids (about 30 People). The guide introduced us in the egyptians life today, giving us the main (geograpfical) informations about Egypt. Mr. Ahmed has a vast and impressive historical knowledge, he was very well prepared for every tour we had with him: the downtown of Hurghada, Cairo and Luxor. He gave us everytime the chance of asking things and could answer all our questions. His explanations were detailed and understandeble, the entartainment was full of humor, we had an excellent time. Guide' Ahmed english is very good, it is a pleasure listenning to his stories about ancient times of the pharaos. We felt very sure and secure by him. Therefor Guide Ahmed Frodow gets my best recommandations, having him as a tourguide makes every trip an unforgetabke trip!

Dat trip to Valley of Kings from our hotel in Hurghada - amazing!!!
What a fantastic day. We knew it was going to be a long one,but from the start of the journey we knew we were going to have a good day. Booked through Get Your Guide online as TUI do not offer this excursion from our hotel, this process was seamless. On the morning the bus arrived at 5am which we knew and had email confirmation the night before. Air conditioned Bus arrived ( think National Express coach) and was pretty full. Amir our guide / Egyptologist was amazing, fantastically knowledgable and made us fall in love with Egypt and its history even more. Lots of information given by Amir throughout, and time for us to sleep, as the journey took 5 hours from Hurghada. Arriving at Valley of the Kings first was a sight to behold but the sun was brutal so be prepared, inside the tombs even hotter but Amir was really attentive to this and ensured we constantly had freezing water for free. The places of history were breathtaking I am so so glad we booked before leaving for home.Amir’s knowledge made the day really enjoyable and it was so powerful to be so close to the ancient artefacts that we are all aware of. The journey included a trip down the Nile which was incredible and then lunch in a local restaurant Whixh was lovely. Amir also have lots of advice about the beggars in the street who would approach as soon as we left the coach, but I found it so so hard to walk past the children, so didn’t but then Amir advised not to offer any more money in order that we could get to the restaurant easily. From start to finish we were looked after so well and we couldn’t have wished for any more. The return journey to the hotel still lots of information from Amir who was pleasant and attentive to us all throughout. My 11 yr old came as well and whilst considering children going on this trip, I would say that this is the appropriate starting age range. The temples include a significant number of steps into and when inside the tombs, and in the heat is quite a task, so not sure how little ones would react to this? Thank you Amir, and the driver of the coach for supporting such a long long day ( 16 hours in total) and all the other individuals we came into contact with including the restaurant staff and the guys on the Nile trip. Our fee for the journey was approx £57 each and included all entrance fees, and lunch. Nile trip was extra £10 each and children up to 11, half price. We told lots of people on our return to hotel about the day and told them to book if they got the chance. We are so pleased, we did and had the opportunity to get this close to significant pieces of history. I hope this review helps- any questions please ask
