Mr Muhammed is the best guide. The trip was awesome, he told interesting stories about the city, he has a lot of knowledge about history and is very talkative - in my opinion this is a good characteristic for a guide. I recommend his for everyone.

We were communicating with a company we had book another trip with when I asked about other trips they offered we picked this one was very reasonably priced our guide messaged us with a picture of his car so we knew what we were watching for Ahmed opened the doors for us after introducing himself he was very friendly knowable and full of information on the tour he didn’t rush us he took us to some lovely sites for us to take pictures and spend time he was very polite through out the trip and made it a much more pleasant experience we were very happy with the trip and would definitely book again thank you 😀

First of all the “transfer” is a random guy who picks you up in his car. The trip is also advertised as being “private” but this isn’t the case. We were picked up with 2 other people who we didn’t know and were then sent out onto the boat with these people. Once out at sea we got around 2 minutes in the air before being brought back down. A man on the boat then claimed to have taken photos of us that we could buy for £25. We paid him for these which he said would be sent on WhatsApp but we never got them. The only positive was the man who drove the shuttle boat back to the marina was amazing, really friendly and even let us all take turns driving the boat. Would not recommend.

Pros: There are hardly any providers that do offer this tour from Hurghada. Communication was very good with pick up time confirmed the day before. The vehicle was a modern SUV type with very good and safe driver who wasn't speeding at all. Guide was very knowledgeable and eager to talk about history. He was engaging conversation as well. Restaurant was a nice local place in Abydos and the food was very tasty. Drinks were priced reasonably low, around 100LE. The sites were the highlight of the day, we enjoyed them more than Luxor sites. No unnecessary stops to tourist trap shops (papyrus, perfumes or alabaster workshop) No "helpers" inside the temples. We left Hurghada 5am and came back 6pm. Cons: No drinks or snacks provided during the day. We brought a breakfast box from the hotel with a couple of water bottles and we bought more drinks during the toilet/smoking stops. The driver didn't speak to us, so it was a silent ride until the guide joined us in Qena and then again on return all the way from Qena to Hurghada. The guide bought a basic ticket in Dendera so we missed out on the famous "light bulb" which was located in a crypt where we didn't have access. Toilets in Dendera are nasty, please don't use them. Roads in Abydos are a little bit rough (dirt roads) but there is nothing that can be done about that. We felt this tour could have been so much better. We might be spoilt from the excellent tour to Luxor we have been to a couple of days ago with Ramashka Tours, but we hope this can be all rectified in the near future. We would still recommend this tour as both temples are magnificent and worth visiting.

Disappointing Review of Private Trip to Abydos and Dendera Temples My partner and I recently took a private trip to the Abydos and Dendera temples, and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. While the SUV we were picked up in was in good condition and the driver was polite, the lack of communication was disappointing since he didn’t speak English. The 13-hour journey offered a beautiful view of the country, but we spent most of the time in silence, missing out on the interesting conversations we hoped to have. The biggest letdown was our tour guide, an archaeologist who clearly possessed a wealth of knowledge but lacked enthusiasm. He rushed through the sites, giving the impression that he was not genuinely interested in sharing his passion for these incredible monuments. Additionally, we were surprised to find that the tickets for Dendera didn’t include access to the lower areas, which felt misleading. There was also a lack of practical guidance; the tour guide didn’t offer any recommendations for restroom breaks, leading to a very unpleasant experience. The toilet I used was in terrible condition, with minimal water for cleaning. I was told there was a better option at the entrance, but this should have been communicated beforehand. Moreover, we took the wrong direction three times during the trip, which was frustrating. It seems that this tour may not be popular from Hurghada, but without improvements in service and attitude, it will continue to fall short. While the temples themselves are breathtaking, they deserve to be presented with more passion and pride. I recommend visiting these sites, but I hope the tour organizers will raise their standards to match the beauty of the locations. Kind regards Lubica

The excursion to see sea life was enjoyable - we got to see plenty of fish and didn't have to fight to get a good view. The men working on our transfer were brilliant! They were really proud of their city and it came through in our conversation. What was less enjoyable was the constant photos followed by the pressure to buy an album and pressure to tip the staff. I completely understand that Egypt is a tip driven place, but giving a tip and then being asked for a second is a little much.

Had a wonderful time from start to finish I was picked up at my hotel..Treated like a king..Then taxi back to hotel all round experience small charge of 250 Egyptian pound not alot for the experience...Thank you very highly recommend. David

Such a great experience. Picked up from the hotel and driven in an air conditioned car to the spa. First we went in the sauna for 10mins, then the steam room for 10mins, then we had our hammam experience where we were scrubbed down with lots of bubbles (very relaxing) after that it was a drink of water in the hot tub while we waited for our massage. The full body massage was incredible and about 45mins long. Was well looked after all day. Highly recommend this experience!

I went with my wife and 8 month old baby, the staff were very welcoming and the captain went out of his way to keep us welcomed. Overall amazing experience which took around 3.5hrs from collecting us at our hotel and dropping us back
