Day trip from Hurghada to Luxor. WOW is all we can say. We were picked up promptly from our hotel in a lovely clean modern mini bus. We had 2x drivers and they were very pleasant. We had a break half way for toilet and coffee before going on to Luxor. There we met Mahmoud who is an Egyptologist who grew up in Luxor. This man is super enthusiastic, intelligent, and knowledgeable. You could not ask for a better guide! I can’t speak highly enough of him. You feel like you’ve made a good friend by the end of the day. It goes without saying that the temples, the tombs and other sites are breathtaking. You are given plenty of free time to take pictures and walk around. We ended the day by having a meal in Paris Restaurant which was lovely, and then a 30 minute cruise down the river Nile. You won’t be disappointed if you book with this company, thank you so much to Mahmoud for an unforgettable day. 🇪🇬

Our tour guide was Mahmoud Gamal and we did a private tour from Hurghada to Luxor as a day trip. We are currently celebrating our honeymoon so we wanted a special trip to remember our time in Egypt and this trip definitely made it special! Mahmoud was very knowledgeable and friendly, he was able to answer all of our questions. We had the best day and enjoyed every second! I would 100% recommend to anyone. Our driver, Ahmed, was also very nice and friendly too.

The Hotel we stayed in Hurghada was close to city center. There was a taxi waiting for us right in front of the Hotel and taking us wherever we wanted. For the first time in my life I have encountered people who were so polite to their customers and their only goal was for us to leave there happy. It was an incredible experience

Amazing experience from start to end. With the help of Mohammed the owner of Kheper Tours, I was able to organise our trip a few weeks before arrival in Hurghada. What was impressive was the ability to customise our trip with the guidance of Mohammed. We had a mixture of 4 German and English speakers and required a bilingual tour guide, we were provided an excellent knowledgeable guide called Hussein, who was welcoming and made our various experiences so good 👍 we booked a private minibus which was brand new, AC, and comfortable seats. We were the only guests in a 12 seater, so had ample space. We were able to leave our belongings in the bus and felt safe at all times. The driver’s Mohammed and Yaseen were on time for pick up from hotel and ready to move us to our next location every time like magic! They were great and accommodated our requests such as a trip to the pharmacy, buy beer etc. The lunches and dinners included in the trip were lovely and included a visit to the home of Yaseen where we had excellent food and met his wonderful family, it was a special experience and I’d highly recommend. The trips to all the major ancient Egyptian sites was great and the hot air balloon ride at dawn was unbelievable and highly recommend you include this in your package. Overall the tour was faultless and will definitely use Kheper tours for future visits!

Spending one day in Luxor to see the impressive and magnificent King’s Valley as well as the Temples you can visit there… all this is a great experience you must live at least once in your life. Anyhow it wouldn’t have been the same without Hassaan, our private guide. He is professional, competent, well organised, ready to help you with everything and, most of all, to transmit his great passion and acknowledgement of Egyptian culture in a very pleasant way. Sarah is a knowledgeable, energetic and fun tour guide! We booked her for a 2 day tour of Luxor, during which we visited the temples of Luxor and Karnak, temple of Hatshepsut, Valley of the Kings, and a local Alabaster factory. She is a passionate Egyptologist, and we learned a ton about the ancient Egyptian dynasties, ways of life and scriptures. She was very easy to connect with and we parted as friends. We did both East and West Bank tours over 2 days. Our guide was Sarah. It was an incredible experience both because of the beauty and history of Egypt but mainly because of the knowledge and passion of our guide. She was charming, funny and her vast expertise kept us engaged, especially as she catered to our interests. The driver made us feel safe and ensured we were always comfortable. We were even able to modify the trip a bit as we went along, like getting to go to Banana Island, which we loved and really appreciated Sarah for making it happen. I will also point out that we were under some tight timeframes but wanted to see a lot and this company just completely worked with us and took all the stress away - showing us monuments but even some amazing shopping. Little details like our pit stop for sugar cane and getting to actually put a cane in the juicer aren’t easily captured in words but doing so with Sarah our guide made it a highlight of our trip. We took a 2 day trip from Hurghada to see the temples of Karnak, Luxor, and the valley of the Kings at a cost of 175 USD per person (excluding drinks and tips), for a party of 6. When you book, please remember that costs are rising rapidly in Egypt and that prices are likely to increase to reflect the increase in cost of living. If you are planning on a trip, I can heartily recommend this company! The good: We had an English speaking guide called Mo, who studies Egyptology and hieroglyphs, has 140k followers on facebook ( no surprise!) and was completely passionate about his topic and super engaging- Mo made several suggestions and was spot on! As an example, he noticed my parents were struggling with the heat at Karnak, so suggested we do an evening trip to Luxor and give them time for a rest- which was much appreciated! He also suggested a stop at Dandara on the way back which was very worthwhile. A decent guide really makes all the difference and Mo really was fantastic! The bad: We had booked for a sunrise balloon trip but this was cancelled because of the wind. However, the company offered to let us stay an extra night and try the next day or have this part of the trip refunded, and they were very professional in how they handled this. The 3* hotel we stayed in at Luxor was noisy and not that comfortable but was completely fine for the night- if this concerns you ask them to book you into a better place (for us the budget was also part of it). I would book with them again tomorrow!

Whenever I'm visiting a new place to get a feel for it's culture, it's history, and the food I always go for accredited guided tours - and I got the best tour guide I've come across. Sarah El Shater is not just an excellent guide, she's also a real-life Egyptologist, and an educator too. Well, at least I was taught a bit of ancient Egyptian history, it's nuances, the politics, and intracacies that otherwise I wouldn't have just by looking at old monuments and historic places. Sarah's thorough understanding (did I mention she's an actual Egyptologist?!) of her work and her willingness to make my experience the best left a long-lasting impression. 10/10 would recommend requesting Sarah for a tour of Luxor whenever you're in town!
