Professionally guided active tour with lots of rides and things to see
We had a fantastic day with these professionals. After picking us up with a jeep at our hotel, we went to a place to drive in the desert ourselves. We drove a buggy and a quad after clear instructions. Next, the jeep brought us to a Bedouin place where we could see and hold some reptiles, enjoy a guided camel ride and taste some local bread. The day ended with a nice show with good food and drinks. We were offered to buy photo’s and video’s and the amount overwhelmed us, thanks for this great day and memories to go with it!

          Best Safari
We really enjoyed the ride with the best guide and best bikes I have ever used. The owner Mr.Khaled is really a respectable honest guy. All the family enjoyed the ride in an absolutely safe experience.

Group tour. 8 am to 12 pm quads across the dessert
We have ridden quads all over to world and in comparison this one was quite good in terms of the actual time you ride the bikes for . in terms of scenery though it is quite bleak and chilly at 8 am.The instructors were helpful but the facilities are not adequate ...there filthy toilets , no running water in some and no glass in the windows so the opposite sex can see you doing everything as they walk past...not great. We were given one small cup black tea when we stopped. Shisha was extra, cold drink was extra and entrance to a small dark snake house was extra. Hire of goggles and scarves also extra! The usual photos and videos were...you guessed it..extra. A short camel ride each was included, led by Bedouin women who of course pesters for tips. We had a lot of laughs and unfortunately one of our group came off the quad and was grazed...all in all it was definitely a good experience for most of us ...however the website is incorrect ....your pick up from hotel is not included and you are charged 5 euro per head when you arrive.....not acceptable..I think it should have been made clear on website. You are riding for 35 km each way so you need to be fairly fit as the sand can be difficult to navigate in places.

6 hour VIP package: ATV, Camel, Bedouin, Buffet, show, etc.
We ordered the 6 hour VIP package (US$75/2 people), which contains 1) hotel pickup; 2) short tutorial on ATV driving and preparation; 3) 45 min-1 hour trip to a Bedouin village (2 stops along the way); 4) 4 minute of camel ride; 5) 6 minute of dessert buggy; 6) visit mini "museum", "zoo", "exhibition", etc.; 7) shisha and tea break; 8) buffet dinner; 9) show; 10) half-hour ride back to the ATV garage (no rest); and 11) ride back to the hotel. The positive: 1- you get 6-hour experience and they arrange all for you at a reasonable price; 2- ATV ride is really fun, especially the night ride, but it can be tiring and dusty (bring scarf and glass/goggle or they sell you scarf for US$5 and rent out goggle for EGP 50/person); 3- buffet dinner is surprisingly delicious; and 4- show is pretty good. The average: 1- guide is average but not bad: minds his own business, takes smoke breaks so do not expect too much energy from him (a guide from an another tour is actually pretty rude); 2- some standing-around time as there are a lot of people in the dessert (we are kinda expecting that); 3- the mini "museum", "zoo", "exhibition" are not that interesting (probably just to kill some standing-around time); and 4- they will try to sell you stuff along the way (also expecting that since we are in Egypt). The negative (minus 1 star): 1- after the ATV tutorial, all the female in my tour are made to ride with their significant other/male relative because the tour guide thinks they are not qualified drivers (that definitely looks a little sexist to me. Maybe they try to save cost or maybe they do it for safety concern, I do not know, but do not expect any refund); 2- the actual length of experience will be shorter than what is advertised (the time I listed is the actual length). Overall, great 6-hour experience at a reasonable price. Recommend you to do it but bring scarf, goggles and water bottles beforehand and do not wear your fancy clothes as you will be dusty after the trip. Expect shorter ATV/camel/buggy ride than what is advertised, some stand-around time and your lady to be slightly disappointed.

Quad & jeep safari to Sahara desert - shocking animal cruelty at Sahara Park
While I was in Hurghada, Egypt on Saturday 17th November 2018 I went on a Sahara jeep safari tour. This tour left from ‘Safari Land’ and was run by an operator called ‘Vesper’. The tour visited a Bedouin camp within the Eastern Sahara desert which contained a ‘Sahara Park’. Within the camp in the desert there are a number of animals being kept for entertainment. There are desert foxes, flamingos, an ostrich, goats, chickens within small pens that are smelly and too small. The worst thing, however, was a barn they took us into which had small tanks containing snakes, very very malnourished lizards including a bearded dragon I was sure was on the brink of death it was so sickly thin and a sea turtle which was in a basin of water barely bigger than the turtle whereby all it could do was lift it’s head. I have literally cried over the sight of this turtle. It is severe cruelty. I spoke to the rep about this but he stated they are only the guides and have to visit this place as it is on the agenda. He states he knows this is cruel however the Egyptian people do not have the compassion for animals we do. I’m not even including the fact that there are about 6 camels that are being whipped and dragged about with large tourists on their backs and being forced up and down to let them on/off constantly. The quad and jeep safari and learning about the Bedouin camp and entertainers were sufficient without the need for these animals to be kept there in horrific conditions for ‘entertainment’. It ruined it for me and I would urge people not to go and see this severely disturbing site.

          Unforgettable trip 07.11.2019
The tour was excellent. Everything was organized very well. The tour guide was very friendly and helpful , we learned a lot for the culture of Egypt. Big Thanks to ALADIN who find us in Jasmine palace-Hurghada and told us about this unforgettable trip. It was a pleasure for us to go deep in the Sahara desert and see how the people lived there. Thank you Cobra group.Greeting from Bulgaria!

          great fun! buggy over quad
Had a great time with the buggy. Well worth it over the quad. Nassar was our guide and it felt like a private tour. The beduin village is somehow limited, but show is nice. We came only for buggy fun and we had plenty, thanks to these guys. Kudos Nassar!

          things worth seeing
Enjoy a beautiful safari trip by quad to the desert El Gouna, near Hurghada. See various Bedouin stations and take a ride on a camel. At the end of the day a delicious barbecue awaits you.

          Dune Buggy Afternoon
We have just an afternoon dune buggy safari. Picked up from the Sheraton Soma Bay (additional 5 euro per person) then off to the safari location. We hired a 4 person buggy, goggles were extra at 5 euro per person but should be included as you can’t really do the trip without them. We also bought head scarfs at 5 euro each which was worth it. We went into the desert for about 25km and stopped for a camel ride and shisha (included). Then back the 25km to base and then the return trip to the hotel. Left the hotel at 1:30pm and back by 6:45pm. Booking was straight forward with Safari Sahara and Fouad in the office was very helpful with questions etc. We didn’t, but if you want to see the sunset then book the later trips that include BBQ etc.

          Spider buggy safari in Sahara
Firstly -it’s mega hot! Like a hairdryer on full blast in your face -constantly! Especially when going fast! The air cools you slightly when you’re going slow. Great adventure this was, good adrenaline kick! We hired a private transfer from Premier le Reve and a private guide (he drove a quad). Went an hour into the desert over dunes and through mountainous parts etc. I did think at one point ‘omg what if one breaks down or something happens to our guide’ you’d have no hope of finding your way back! Lol! But that’s all part of the adventure hey? The cars are fast and you finish up full of sand and dust so only wear what you don’t mind possibly ruining -it’s sort of leaves an orangey tiny even after washing on white clothes. We stopped off at a Bedouin camp and they gave us hot tea in tin cups -trust me it’s more quenching and cooling that water! There is police presence here and feels safe. We rode a camel and then headed back. Our driver was waiting but we were still shuffled into a mini bus for him to follow our driver and take us to the gate! We could then get in our air conditioned private car and was given water etc. These little things unnerve some people but it’s just for tips. We need to remember these people are poor and these little extras are a way of making a living. Really enjoyable adventure day out -but just as I say before -don’t underestimate the heat. Take plenty of water (it does go hot v quick without a cooler)

          Fun filled day
This was a fun filled day with plenty of diverse activities, Quad Biking, Spider Cars, Bedouin talk, Camel ride, BBQ, evening entertainment under the stars I was a bit concerned that I did not want to quad bike but my daughter did. It turned out that this was not a problem at all, myself and one other lady went in the four by four that followed the bikes picking up some who were struggling, so don't be put off if there is an activity that you do not want to take part in. This is a full day so be prepared, one of our trip complained it was too long, which is why I mention this. Personally we enjoyed being out of the hotel for the day and participating in loads of different activities. You will need a scarf for your face and old clothes that you don't mind throwing away, because the sand gets everywhere!!!!! You will have to buy the scarf, these are sold by the tour guides but we had bought these in the local shop. It is very hot in the desert, I know this sounds obvious but it is a blistering heat, be prepared. The guides were friendly and informative and I would thoroughly recommend this trip.

          Best experience ever!!!
Had the trip of a lifetime! Stayed at the Sunrise Holiday Resort and seen a fantastically nice guy sitting in the hotel selling this trip, so we decided to gamble on it being any good. As we decided to book it privately with just the 2 of us and not a group of 6,7,8 or more people And my god! We were blown away by the hospitality and the consideration of me and my partner! Would highly, highly, highly recommend this place to anyone who visits Hurghada or the surrounding area!

If you want a nice leisurely ride though the desert, then go somewhere else, this is properly fun . You get picked up from your hotel, all you need is to buy a scarf £2 any gift shop. You need some cash to hire goggles, you will need good goggles not sun glasses as they will fall off. You get crash helmet, water and they will look after you. The guide puts on you scarf like the locals ware them, this will help keep dust out. You get a slow test drive, this makes sure ok with controls. My girl friend came on with me. Then you off in a long line 7 metres apart roaring through the desert. Properly fast, do it it’s scary but you will love it, all the way to a Bedouin village and camel ride , nice cup of tea . Hang around for 15 min. Nice rest. Then back on the quads. You go so far into desert and the ground is rough that you can pan round with camera and see nothing. Tip. Bring an action cam as your phone will get filled with dust. I brought a cheap rucksack to put water bottle and camera in. Cost of this 3 hour trip £21 pounds. You cannot have this much fun for less, soo good. Don’t wear good clothes they will wash but you are going to look like you have been rolling in the dust. But you will have a fanatic experience for your life history .

Mustafa approached us on the beach with the offer of this trip and we are SO glad we went. we walked down and met the group at 9:30 on the beach, got kitted out with our headdresses, given a detailed instruction on the quads and off we went!!! what fun!!! rode to a beautiful quiet beach through the desert, then to the Bedouin tent for tea and to "smoke some shisha" (if you like) "ride the camel" (if you like) then back to the beach for about 12. it was fantastic. Ahmed (Bob Marley), our guide, was great. can honestly recommend this trip it was brilliant.

All ATV tours from different companies are essentially the same in Hurghada.

We picked this company because it is locally owned and operated. It also happens to be quite inexpensive. No one vacationing in Hurghada cares about little money but for the same exact experience, why pay more ?

Our tour guide was nice, the guy riding at the very front leading us was nice too and he took some great pictures for us !

Camel ride is optional and somewhat included ( it's free but need to tip the camel owner or care taker )

After camel ride was an optional desert snake museum for 50 LE per person and a visit to a little shop selling some supposedly handmade items. We didn't buy anything and they were cool about it, no pressure at all, which is the way it should be,

Last stop for tea and some desert story telling was ok too.

It was a much better ride on our way back to the camp, at higher speed and more scenic.

Scarf ( to keep) and Goggle ( to rent ) is $5 each and we did both.

It was a good program and we recommend it. Rather you like riding ATV on a desert is another story. We didn't expect much and we enjoyed it

One extra note, we picked the short tour instead of the sunset tour because we already booked a seemingly much better Sunset tours in Dubai. Sunset tour in Dubai was Awesome.. Highlight of our trip in Dubai..

We were picked up around 14±20, right on time.
In 15 min we were at the quad location. After a test run the group(=+/- 14) we were split up in more experienced an novice riders, I rode in the experienced group. First a desert trip of 30 min to a Bedouin 'town' were we got water en could rest, look at a terrarium, ride a camel. then a view hundred meters on the quad to do some shisha end tea.
Then the ride back to the quad campus, straight through the desert.
This is a great experience especially for this price(round €20) real value for your money, and a professional crew.

What a blast! Go zooming through the dessert sands on a quad bike! Bumps bends and lots of fun. The staff are very helpful and speak fluent English. We spent a good hour riding out to the Bedouin village, where we had a short camel ride. It was enough for us, trust me! There is a chance to hold wild snakes at an extra few euros but we chose not to. Despite what you may read there is no pressure to tip. We tipped the women who lead the camels but needn’t of bothered as they didn’t appear overjoyed about it. However a couple brought a bag made from camel hair and I think they made the makers week. His joy at getting 15 euros was priceless.

I 100% recommend this trip its such great value and would do it again!

We booked at 11 p.m. the day before the trip, witch started at 8 p.m. They picked us up at our hotel in a van with airconditioning. When we arrived they told us that we were the only two (me and my boyfriend), so we got lucky en got a private tour. We had nice guide who learned us how to use the quad. We drove into the dessert, to the mountains. We stopped at a small village over there en could ride a camel there. On our way back we got to smoke shisha and got a cup of local tea. We stopped a few times on the road to take some pictures. Overall it was a great experience!

I'll start by saying in theory this is so much fun. But we had a lot of problems.
        Pros:
        - Booking cia Trip Advisor was very easy they emailed us our pickup time and the van picked us up from the hotel as promised.
        - seeing the desert was amazing and riding the quads was fun

        Cons:
        - the van that picked us up was terrible, no AC, very hot, felt and sounded like it was going to fall apart.
        - Our guide wasn't friendly. He explained nothing, didn't point anything out along the way. Left us to go smoke by himself when we got to the pit stop area.
        - in our small group of 6 we had 2 quads break along the way. So 2 couples had to ride double (got no refund for this).
        - The guide kept trying to tow the broken quads behind his so he didn't have to go back and get them. This wasn't working and they came untied about every minute, so we kept having to stop so he could tie them together again. We probably stopped 20 times for him to try to keep towing before we just kept going and he got the hint that the group was fed up with waiting and finally decided to leave the broken quads behind.
        - Because of the repetitive stopping we weren't able to have much fun. We couldn't go fast because of the towing and everyone riding doubles, the machines didn't have much power for that.
        - Going back to the hotel the van left us at a gas station where we had to wait for another van to come get us. It was very confusing.

Overall other groups looked like they were having much more fun. So I recommend it, but not with this company.

At this price (we paid £16 each) you might as well do this trip. We were picked up at 8:01 in a good quality minibus. We stopped at one other resort to pick up more people but they did not show up. Unfortunately this resort was quite far away so we wasted about an hour getting there, waiting for the people and then going to the quad biking place. If you book this please do show up or cancel, even if out of respect for other people who booked it! Anyway once we got to the place it was only us three so we got a private tour for nothing extra. They do require you to wear a scarf and will need to buy it there if you don't have one (4 euros each). You also need sunglasses or rent proper goggles from them. They naturally offer many photo options for extra money but there;s no pressure to take these. As it was a private trip we did the route in 30 minutes compared to the usual 50/60 minutes for larger groups so bear that in mind, large groups will be quite slow. Book a private one if you want to go fast! The guys were great though, also booking it though here is cheaper than through travell agencies at resorts. Definitely recommend this and will go again next time!
