We booked a 10 days tour with Egypt Tours Portal that included 5 days in and around Cairo, our guide being the amazing Ismail. Day 1 we arrived at Cairo international airport and were immediately greeted by a representative of Egypt Tours Portal, who took us to the driver, we were taken to the hotel for checkin, Ismail gave us appointment for the next morning. We stayed at the Conrad Cairo hotel, it was simply fantastic!! Day 2 we went on a private tour with Ismail and the driver Eid to visit first Saqqara step pyramid and then Giza Pyramids in the afternoon, after a buffet lunch right next to the pyramids. Those are must places to visit once in a lifetime!! In the evening we had the sound and lights show at the Giza Pyramids, and unfortunately I have to say this was the most underwhelming part of our tour, we found the sound and lights show i.e. at Chichen Itza in Mexico to be so much better. Day 3 in Cairo we toured first the Egyptian Museum and then Islamic Cairo. It was an amazing day, thank you so much Ismail for all you've thought us!! Day 4 we went on a day trip to visit Alexandria, it was amazing, the citadel is simply fantastic, plus the catacombs, Pompeii's pillar. Amazing lunch at the fish market, what a view!! The library was closed so we could only see it from outside. On the way back to Cairo we stopped at Abu Mena, Unesco World Heritage Site, but this was disappointing (even Ismail tried to suggest us another alternate destination), in fact not much is left at Abu Mena and we couldn't understand the importance of the site, let alone the beauty. Day 5 - oh maybe it was the best of them all!! - we went to Wadi El Hitan, whale valley, in the desert, plus waterfalls, magic lake, 4x4 crazy dunes climbing, we had so much fun in this day and I can't stop thanking Ismail enough for taking us there!! I strongly recommend Egypt Tours Portal to anyone wishing to visit Egypt, they can customize the tour to your wishes, the organization is flawless, drivers are very good, you feel really safe, the guides are fantastic (we met 2, Ismail in Cairo and Hossan in Luxor, both amazing). The vehicles are new, with AC, very spacious. This was the trip of a lifetime!!

Our guide Amr Moses was fantastic - he is very knowledgeable and gave us a very efficient and fun tour through the highlights of Cairo, including the markets, pyramids and the Egyptian Museum.
We are travelling with young children, and therefore were very conscious of safety. Amr Moses was very conscious of this and made us feel very safe throughout our time with him.

At exactly 2:30am our driver Mohammed Sallah showed up. At various check points, we had to wait to be passed in groups of tourist vehicles by authorities but finally got to the Museum at about 9.15am where we met Mahmoud our guide.
Now Mohammed was an excellent driver, so much so I felt comfortable enough to sleep to and fro (that never happens as I’m a paranoid backseat driver). He was the right amount of chatty and focused so other than the occasional taking of phone calls (albeit from the office), I’d say he was Exceptional. Also a little car heating in the morning might have helped - tour was in February so about 13degrees even though it warmed up as the day progressed.
Mahmoud on the other hand was a hilarious guide, with his lil swag moves at every museum stop to give us the history of the items. He is knowledgeable, clever and the witty jokes had us in stitches so we instantly vibed with him. He was very accommodating on the tour and took excellent photos of us and found me a convenience for my small bladder as often as I needed. So did Mohammed en route by the way.
All in all it was a seamless, hitch-free, fun and very comfortable trip and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Glad we found and booked the tours last minute - the booking was also seamless and great. Thanks Egypt Tours Portal… thank you Mahmoud… thank you Mohammed who had the least sleep!

We have just returned from the most amazing day in Cairo and Giza!! It is all very well organised and we were picked up at 2.30am as its a long drive from Hurghada. Our 2 drivers were great and did a few stops on route for toilet breaks and refreshments, the people carrier provided gave us plenty of space too.
Our tour guide Max was just fantastic, his knowledge and experience was just amazing!! Max even managed to get my teenage children engaged and was great at involving them in his knowledge of history. He took great photos for us to treasure forever and knew all the great locations. After walking round the great pyramids and seeing the sphinx he then took us to a beautiful restaurant to have lunch whilst sitting looking out over the Nile, just beautiful!!
We then went onto the museum where we got to see the great tutankhamen and many other wonders. Max did offer to get us rides on camels and visit the markets but we declined, however if there are other things you wish to see and do it is no trouble at all. Thank you Max for a truly wonderful day we shall never forget!!

We went on the Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum tour with Sarah and could not be happier with our experience! She was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of ancient Egypt, providing an experience that was above and beyond our expectations. She was also energetic, takes a great photo and spoke perfect english. The driver was on time every time and very professional. The included lunch was very good at a buffet style restaurant that included a variety of great local cuisine. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for an exclusive private tour of Giza plateau and the Egyptian museum.

Wonderful journey to the Saqqara Pyramid, Giza Pyramid Complex and the Valley Temple with the guide Aziza Mohamed. She was really professional under every aspect of her job, nonetheless, a skillful egyptologist that knows how to make you feel involved in the experience. She made me feel comfortable with my needing to feel the atmosphere of the place that i was visiting and my fussy need to take perfect pictures and videos. She will explain you everything you are seeing with the chance to go deeper in the explanation if the topic meet your peculiar interest. I really recommend to ask for her if you are interested in these activities and more else. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

When we decided to go to to Egypt I never thought that I would have such a lovely experience, Egypt is beautiful, it has 5,000 years of history, and is one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been.
Riham made this trip even more special, her knowledge and wisdom made this even better, from the moment she met us at the airport through all our time in Cairo.
She knows the city inside out, knowledge is memorable, she has a degree in egyptology, knows the fun and most important parts of 5,000 years of history and delivered it over three days.
She was super accommodating to our needs, and took care of us in the crazy heat and the intense days, she respected our time and even took us to one of the most amazing local rebut aunts in Cairo for Koshary.
We are back home now, and we have an amazing set of photos and memories because of Riham!
Thank you Riham, we will see you next year.

I cannot recommend Egypt Tours and our tour guide “Max” enough! We are a family of four Australians who live in Switzerland. We were unsure about travelling to Egypt during Covid times but did a lot of investigating, including calling Egypt Tours Portal and decided to come and we are so glad we did! We are staying in Hurghada but wanted to see Cairo so we arranged a tour with Egypt Tours. We were picked up at our hotel in a private car and drive to the airport for our 1hr flight to Cairo (masks compulsory). Max met us at the airport and again we had a private car with a driver who stayed with us all day. It was amazing to see the pyramids and Sphinx - A once in a lifetime opportunity to be there without crowds! The security was strong and also had temperature checks. We took up the additional option of riding camels, which the kids loved!
We had a beautiful lunch (best dip and bbq chicken) overlooking the Sphinx. In the afternoon we visited the Egyptian museum and then did a sail boat trip on the Nile. Max was incredibly knowledgeable about Egyptian history and was able to flex the content to keep our 11 year old interested as well. A truly unforgettable day with incredible service from Egyptian tours portal from the minute we called them to being dropped back at our hotel exhausted but so happy we made the trip!

Me and my family had such a great time touring the pyramids and Cairo with Max, he is very intelligent and kind and made sure that our tour would go by smoothly. We had a lot of fun visiting the pyramids and did a lot of activities such as camel riding. Max made sure that our tour was efficient in time, knowledge, and fun, and also prepared a lovely lunch in a cafe for my family and I by the River Nile. We saw the sphinx, the Cairo museum and also parts of old Islamic Cairo as well. Our driver along with max was also very efficient as we were not late to a single one of our outings and managed to reach the airport in time for our flight. Hi there we are coming in April 22-29 hoping to go and see the pyramid there ade 2 adults and 3 children 13,9,4. Willbe staying at amwaj blue beach resort in hurghada. Just wondering people have said they have got a better deal talking via watsaap
