The tour was well organised and we were able to see the Cairo highlights in a nicely compressed day. Communication was good, our guide was lovely and knowledgeable and the minibus driver went out his way to make sure our children kept cool throughout the day (temperature was high so this was much appreciated). Except for the Cairo Museum, the other attractions weren’t too crowded and we had plenty of time to walk around, take photos and just take everything in. What I could have done without was actually the perfumery (our last stop). I didn’t mind going to the papyrus place but as we were flying, there is not much point in buying liquids that may have to be thrown away before we are allowed to board the plane. Otherwise all went well. I appreciated the cold drinks on board.

We took a tour to Cairo from Hurghada by plane. The transportation arrangement was excellent. We were picked up on time from our hotel and both flights had no issues as well. Our guide for the day in Caïro was waiting for us at the airport. She (Mariam) was excellent. She told us a lot about the places we went and all in all she has a very pleasant personality. And she can take amazing pictures. I can definitely recommend her.
The only downside I would say is that at times the tour felt rushed. Our tour would focus on 3 sights (the museum, pyramids and the old bazaar), but other, unplanned things, were crammed in between (such as the papyrus shop and the ethereal oils shop; both of which were clearly more commercial in nature). Some more time at the museum would have been nice and ultimately we did not get around to the bazaar.
Nevertheless, I can recommend this tour as a great way to see the highlights of the city of Cairo and it’s surroundings in one day.

The trip was just amazing! We were very lucky because my husband and I were the only participants of a group, so we had a private car with a driver and Russian speaking guide Mohamed. The schedule was very flexible with no rush and unnecessary shops; the guide gave us time whenever we needed it, for toilet, coffee break, smoking.
We started our journey at old market, then we had a breakfast in the local cafe. After that we spent about two hours in the Cairo museum, and our guide provided us a lot of information about the history of Egypt and about every important piece of exhibition. Then we headed to Giza, and were wandering there for three hours. I would highly recommend entering the pyramid of Cheops; it was a breathtaking experience for me! After that we had a lunch time.
I am so glad that my visit to Cairo was so smooth and comfortable, and I want to thank FTS Travel for well organised tour, and of course, kudos to our guide and driver.
A few words about the things I didn't like. We were told that the assembly point in Hurghada would be near hotel Prima Life. In reality, we were circling around resort area for about 20 minutes, and no one could tell us where this hotel is at 3 am. It turned out that this hotel is still under construction, and it is located outside the gates of resort area Macadi. If the organiser had provided more details, we wouldn't have faced such troubles. The second thing is very late return flight to Hurghada. We finished our program at 4 pm, but our return flight was scheduled on 11pm. Thanks to our guide who advised us to kill time at Cairo Festival Shopping Mall, and our driver who was waiting for us and gave us a ride to the airport in time. It would have been better to have return flight at earlier time.

This trip is worst like bus trip, left at 4am the resort and we were back at 1am next day.
From 4:30pm until 11 pm when we had the flight we had to wait doing nothing.
Guide was telling us in the bus the whole ancient history but nothing about Cairo today while we were driving through the big city, it is like we never been there, we now should see videos on internet to find out how looks Cairo and what kind of architecture and points of interest. In spite of the fact everybody is coming to see pyramids and the Sphinx we waist our day from 7am until 3pm with not important stuff and for pyramids and the Sphinx only 1 hour where we could not take good photos because was the sunset with the sun behind pyramids and the Sphinx. If you can not get there before 12pm then no good photos and we paid $490Us which is a huge amount for one day trip, the price we paid for a week at five stars resort in Hurghada, this was waist of money for nothing.
It is 21 hours round trip, not 10 hours as the lie advertised on the web

This is a very long day but worth it if you want the combined beach/pyramid holiday. As we were staying in el Gouna, we had to be collected at 3.15am for our 5.15am flight! We were informed we would have to pay an extra €20 for our transfer which we were fine with, we were picked up on time & agreed with the driver to pay him on collection later that day. All good.
The flight was quick & painless, we were greeted outside the arrivals terminal in Cairo & gathered up in our respective language groups.
First stop was Cairo old town which we didn’t have any interest in but found it be incredible & well worth seeing, it looks like a movie set! The baked goods snacks included was nice.
We then went on a short boat ride up the Nile, nice to see but not hugely cultural or interesting.
The Cairo museum was our next stop after a quick toilet stop in the Ritz Carlton. Very interesting & busy, great to get a bit of learning in before seeing the pyramids & later in the week our trip to Luxor.
The lunch included was pretty bad, it’s a large restaurant dedicated to tour groups serving up bland western buffet food with some grilled local meats & salad. It was noisy & on the whole pretty unpleasant, drinks are not inc. Not even a bottle of water.
Next stop was a perfumery, the majority of the group seemed uninterested but you learn to accept you
will be sold at on any excursion in Egypt unfortunately.
The pyramids & sphinx was the last stop & obviously the highlight of the day. It’s worth paying the extra for the viewpoint so take some cash (€$).
The last stop was a papyrus shop, again another unnecessary stop to sell you stuff.
Our guide was ok, but lacked substance. Lots of gimicky pics & not enough info for us.
On arrival at Hurghada airport, FTS travel failed to pick ANYONE up in the tour group (there must have been 30-40 of us). It was 8pm, we were cold, tired & hungry. My husband turned on his data to message them. No response. £20 worth of data was charged to his phone. Thank goodness we didn’t pay up front for our transfer. We ended up having to negotiate another fare with an airport taxi as many others had to. Appalling end to what was on the whole a good day trip. FTS did little in the way of responding to our complaint. Would recommend looking at other agents for such an excursion.

What a fantastic tour! Will was our personal guide and he was really friendly! He showed us more then "just" the touristic points. He took care of our family of 4 and he is a real family man! He made us really comfortable and he went the extra mile to make our day unforgettable! We got to see the pyramids from all kind of viewpoints and also showed us where to be extra careful. His English is really good and he is always smiling so that makes this a perfect trip. Guided by a man who is passionate about explaining the history of Egypt so there is nothing I can imagine that could make this trip any better. We left Caïro with a lifetime full of memories. Even our kids payed attention to his way of explaining things, so they will remember Egypt in a special way full of learned facts.

We had to wake up at 00.00 for our taxi from marsa alan to hurghada airport. (3h drive) The flight to Cairo to be picked up by our guides. Then we drove off to old Cairo first to visit the market without people from the city in its none tourist state very impressive. After we went to the piramides and sphynx before the crowd was there. Very few People very nice pictures taken. The a buffet dinner and continue our journey to the egyptian museum. Where we recoeves again alot of information by our guide. Then a relaxing boot trip to finish. After that we returned to the airport to get picked up again by a taxi and arive at our hotel by 23.30
It was a very, very exhausting trip but it was totally worth it.! Very nicely organised id recommend this trip for People that want to go to egypt and get the maximum out of their trip.

I have got a great tour from Rana with the very good price. Good to see pyramids and museum. The only comments, I have. It would have been better not to visit perfume shop and instead exploring more in Cairo. It could have been easy to have extra two hours if we avoid perfume shop and not also arrive too early in airport to explore more time inside Cairo. Also, I would recommend avoiding Friday. We went to old bazar, as I am originally from Middle East,I understand, one of main features of Bazar is too see crowded people shopping, having tea,….
Visiting closed bazar on Friday morning doesn’t make sense.
Also, it would be great if the driver and tour operators wear a mask inside the car during pandemic.
Overall,I am happy with the tour, improving above comments would have make it excellent.

Comunication via WhatsApp was very fast, everything was explained in detail. Transfer from hotel to airport and back was on time, there was no need to wait. Guide was waiting in Cairo and was with great knowledge and answered to all of our questions during the trip to pyramids what was very great experience.Trip to perfume and oil factory could be skipped. Lunch was nice in the local caffè except beverage was for additional price. Museum with our guide was great he showed everything worth seeing otherwise we could spend there more than a day. Khan el-Khalili market was worth seeing if you want to buy some souvenirs and see the life of Cairo markets.

The tour was excellent! Will was very helpful and informative. He looked after us well! From booking to getting plane tickets and meeting the tour guide all went seemingly well. Will also gave us a tour of Cairo en route to our destinations! Only negative point would be we didn’t enjoy the food, not much choice. We also had lunch for 12.30pm but our flight back to hurghada wasn’t till 10.30pm so we were hungry and tired by end of day. Will was nice enough to get us a crisp snack. Also the tour finished about 5.30pm so collectively as a group we agreed on a boat trip on river Nile as an extra activity for extra charge. Couldn’t fault Will at all though! We hope to see him again if we visit Egypt again! Thank you!
