Un paese di mare simpatico
Detto in altra sede dell'assurdo viaggio di ritorno (a proposito: evitare l'offerta di traghetti/catamarano: potreste avere brutte sorprese...), concentriamoci sulla località. Rovigno presenta un centro storico accattivante dove respiri aria di Serenissima. Venezia è dietro l'angolo ovunque: nei palazzi, nella pavimentazione stradale, nello stesso tessuto urbano.
La gente. A parte qualche comportamento un po' scorbutico (abbiamo avuto la disavventura di chiedere un'informazione alla persona sbagliata) nel complesso si ha a che fare con gente cortese, un "basic italian" è spesso parlato, i cartelli sono bilingui (con talora qualche buffo errore), le indicazioni chiare. La moneta non è un problema: per cambiare valuta nelle kune locali è meglio allontanarsi dal porto turistico, potendo è bene utilizzare i numerosi sportelli bancomat. Occorre tener conto che l'euro non è quasi mai accettato. Spiagge e stabilimenti balneari: la costa è rocciosa, per cui occorre dimenticare i lidi sabbiosi romagnoli, marchigiani e veneti; occorre dotarsi di calzature, più che spiagge si tratta di ghiaioni.
Si mangia abbastanza bene, i ristoranti sono economici. Esistono supermercati non fornitissimi, ma quello che serve si trova, e dove le carte di credito sono tranquillamente accettate.
Riepilogando, una buona vacanza, catamarani a parte.
