This company!!! Love love love!! They are fantastic! We used this company throughout the week for large group transportation. They were waiting at the airport when we arrived and got us to our rental home at a very reasonable price. We also used them to return. We decided at the last minute to ride the cable cars in Medellin, and contacted them at 7pm. They were able to arrange transportation for our group of 15 for the following morning. Our driver was able to give us safety advice, accompany us to a bank for safety, and arrange our cable car tickets for us. Their drivers always come a little early and the communication through WhatsApp is fantastic - they promptly reply to all questions. The security and dependability of this company is worth every penny. Highly recommend!

On our trip to Medellin we were a bit afraid to just hire anyone to take us on tours but I can honestly say Camilo from Pro Tours was very professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. If you are looking for tours, drivers to see the city, or a ride to the airport this company is the best. Camilo was very helpful and even suggested places we didn't even know about. He made our trip the best vacation we've ever taken.

We booked ProTours for airport transport for our family (adults, kid, luggage, dogs) for a major international move and they never showed up! We confirmed directly with them, and never received a call nor message nor apology after their incompetence put us through one of the most stressful episodes of my life. We barely made our plane after literally running to try and hail taxis. There are dozens of other tour companies, give your business elsewhere... That they never even tried to message and apologize, terrible service.

We are a family of 4 (kids 13 and 15). We went to Rio Claro from Medellin on Saturday. The trip there took about 3 hours in a very comfortable car with our guide Clara whom everybody loved and who was very helpful during the whole adventure that lasted more than 16 hours. In Rio Claro we selected two activities: rafting and caves. The rafting was lots of fun and very relaxing. The river is beautiful and very safe. The caves adventure is different. These are real caves where you have to crawl, jump from one hole filled with water to another in the dark, listening to the scary loud noise made by the birds who live there... Kids were fascinated. I don't think they will ever forget this adventure. However, I would not recommend this one to people who are not in a good physical form. I highly recommend Protours Medellin for their quality of service, affordable prices, excellent communication ( both, in English and Spanish) and willingness to go above and beyond for their clients.

Mario is amazing!! The tour is more cost efficient then all of the other tours on trip advisor. English speaking and personalized to our wants and needs. Mario took us to all the best restaurants, gave us all the history of all of the sites and made sure all of our needs were met! Such an amazing experience, can’t wait to visit again!

We blessed up when we came across this company. We initially needed a ride to our airbnb, but thanks to Mario and Stephanie we did the Graffiti Tour, tasted authentic snacks and drinks and learned much about the culture. We dined at El Rancherito, for the traditional Colombian taste, the mall and then ended at our airbnb. I definitely recommend this company!

Our tour guide Mario Fernandez is an amazing and extraordinary tour guide. Myself and my friends feel that this was the best way to tour the highlights of Medellin being that we were there for a short period of time. It felt we were touring with a friend and being that he is a local, it was amazing to experience a more personal connection and explanation of the culture. FYI he picked us up from the airport too. We look forward to booking more tours with this company and of course Mario. He has become our friend.

I visited the town of Guatape today on a day long tour from Medellin which included the Piedra del Penol. I had seen pictures of this charming town town doing research before I left for Colombia and was determined to go there. I love colors and patterns and this town is full of exquisite ones. Every Street has its own charm. Walking along and trying to decide which Street to walk down next is difficult. But whatever street you choose, you will be pleased with what you find. There are lots of artisans who live there and sell their wares. It's very touristy but it didn't get in the way of me enjoying every single minute I spent there. They call Guatape the town of Zocalos which are decorative strips about 18 inches high at the bottom of every house or building, each one reflecting the style or tastes of the owner. The Chivas (tuk tuks) are also delightfully decorated. Another must see!

The tour starts 8 am and ends around 6pm. It includes breakfast and lunch. We first went to el peñol rock. The climb to the top has about 700 stairs and entry cost is additional. The climb was not too difficult and the view was stunning. We also went to see the town of Guatape. Quite a unique town with all the houses decoration. We learnt about the history of the town and about the special decorations on each house ( Zocalos ). On the way back we also stopped in another small town to drink a nice juice. There were two guides for English and Spanish. It was professionally managed and the bus was comfortable
