We were very excited to go to a Colombian football game, paid over AUD$200 through Trip Advisor and received email confirmations. Sadly the tour operator did not arrive to pick us up. We contacted the tour operator who replied to say that there was no soccer game scheduled. No one advised us of this. While we have been advised that we will receive a refund, why did Trip Advisor accept a booking from us in the first place or not make any attempt to contact us if the game was scheduled and later cancelled?

Totally honest, probably the best tour of my life. I would recommend it to everyone because I am sure it will be unique (no spoiler). If you want to know all the story about Pablo Escobar and so a fundamental part of the story of Colombia, you have to do this and I am sure you will not to find something better than this specific tour with Diego (An amazing guide with an amazing story).

This was my favorite day I had in Medellin! Diego was an incredible guide taking me to various sites around Medellin with historical importance of a dark period of time in Colombia's history. His personal story and openness to share had me captivated the whole time. It was exactly the type of experience I had wanted to learn about what happened. If you think you know the whole story because of watching TV shows about Pablo Escobar, you don't! You need to come to Colombia and take this tour and learn the whole story and you will walk away with a friend in Diego and have had the most memorable day in Colombia!

Diego is an exceptional guide.. I had never done a tour in my life. But with him was one of the most special days in Medellin. He is a true local who has deep ties with the population and shows the real side of Pablo Escobar and the Medellin cartel... If you want to hear the whole story you have to call Diego. Not only is his expertise mega, but above all he is also a very cool guy. You got the perfect person with him.

Diego recommended this one to us. It was really worth it. The views were amazing, breath taking. It was all fun, the climbing. He then takes you to the city where you learn a lot about the culture and history of the city that is Guatapé. He also has this one restaurant he recommended that has the best beans I’ve had in a long time

An amazing tour of history, nature, and community. This tour gives awesome insight of the city of Medellín and the history behind Pablo Escobar. Our tour guide Diego was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and consistent throughout the tour. When I come back, he will be the first person I call for another awesome tour. I seriously recommend this tour for anybody who has interest in history and the beautiful city of Medellín.

Man there’s no one better than Diego! He takes you into the story and the history. There’s always two sides to the story, and there’s so much that people get wrong

We did the combined Pablo Escobar and comune 13 tour. We didn’t really know much on the subject and never watched any of the shows that have been published. Diego told a lot of (personal) stories about the history and it was super interesting! He is a great and very interesting guy who has been through things that most of us can’t even imagine. It certainly is an experience that gets you thinking and will stay with you for some time.

If you are looking for a REAL Pablo tour.. then this is the one. You get the full story, start to finish, from all perspectives and it’s up to you to decide what you think at the end. Diego’s (our tour guide) life story is just as fascinating in itself and we can’t recommend him enough. There is no glorification of Pablo on this tour, just truths.

SAT tours took us to ATVing and we got to unload a little on the ATVs! Having done it before in other places I need some speed and these ATVs weren’t your typical small ones either. Fun Time! Definitely coming back!

Moved to Medellin for few months before I actually decided to go on this tour because I wanted to get it from THE BEST! I wanted to hear the non-Netflix stories about Colombia during that time and get a real sense of what it was like. Diego went above and beyond for us with his breadth of knowledge of the history! Hands down highly recommend!

If you get Diego as your guide, consider yourself lottery lucky. At first I was scared to go to Columbia, as I have heard how dangerous it can be here, however thanks to Diego I had no worries. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the history of Medellin, but he is also street smart. He had an unique way of always being with the group, helping with whatever we needed, but also giving us enough space for it to feel as if we were on our own. On the 2nd day I dropped my phone in the Hot tub and it was completely broken. I still had a week left here and was in panic mode. The minute I told Diego he reach it to his connects and in less than 2 hours I had a backup phone that he let me borrow for the remainder of my trip. Seriously would not have had even close to as good of a time if it wasn’t for Diego.

I had the time of my life with my friends in Medellín. Along with the time of my life, we had the pleasure of having the best tour guide in the world in Diego. Not only did he show us around all of Medellín, but he took care of us inside and outside of the city. I learnt so much from his story and the experience of Colombia, and in thankful for him for that. I HIGHLY recommend Diego if you ever come to Colombia!

Me and my friends had an amazing time and a 5 star experience in Medellin all thanks to Diego! This was the 2nd time coming back to Medellin and we made sure using SAT tours was the #1 priority! They go above and beyond to making sure we are all having a great time and having fun together! Had a great time with Diego. Not only was he knowledgeable and a local, but also lived a crazy life with many stories to tell. He knows people everywhere you go and can get anything you need. My brother broke his I phone and Diego got him a new one the next day for cheap. Lastly Columbia is known to be a sketchy place but my favorite part of the tour with him is he made you feel safe everywhere you went so you did not have to worry about anything in the back of your mind. Would 1000% book him next time I’m in Columbia. There’s no better option
