Last week I spent 5 days in an amazing city, Medellin. I was recommended a private tour by Guillermo Jaramillo of Private Tours Medellin. What an authentic way to explore and discover the city of Medellin. We spent the next 4 hours exploring and visiting highlights of Pablo Escobar and Commune 13. It was educational, humbling, and a very authentic approach to explore and learn. I recommend Guillermo to locals and tourists, very thoughtful, bi lingual, and well spoken in English.

I had an absolutely perfect trip using Private Tours Medellin! Our driver, Memo was friendly, affordable and funny also. He made the 2 hour drive seem like 15 minutes. He knew the history, great sites, and all the activities. Do not do this tour without him!! Totally worth the cost because you see so much in one day that you would have missed. The private tour was perfect! So cool!! Thanks Memo!!!

This is actually the 2nd time ive been to Medellín in the past year and we wnjoyed the 1st stay so much that we contacted him upon this trip for airport transfer and tours- although i had already experienced the tours from previous visit, my friends definitely enjoyed it and i also loved it again! Mr. Memo provided a relaxing and fantastic experience during my November 2019 visit. In visiting the historical city of Santa Fe de Antioquia, the architecture was amazing illustrating the colonial buildings, cobbled streets with the tour highlighting the wood and steel western bridge built in the 1800s by Jose Maria Villa. This is also a fantastic opportunity for shoppers to purchase panned gold crafted into the finest jewelry from the local area at a excellent price with top-notch worksmanship. It is a must visit that allows tourists to take in the breathtaking Andes Mountains. Mr. Memo also provided a fantastic authentic coffee tour that provided the best experience of picking the coffee beans, enjoying a homemade lunch to enjoying a fantastic cup of the best coffee in the Antioquia Colombia region. This tour and the Santa Fe visiting were the highlights of my vacation.

This was an amazing experience. Memo picked us up from our air bnb at 6 I’m the morning. We took a scene drive, stopping for amazing Empenadas, and then continued to the town of jardin (about a 3 hour drive). We took a Jeep tour in the mountains and hiked to a beautiful waterfall where we swam in the freezing river. We then toured the town of jardin stopping in a beautiful church and stopping again at a restaurant for some fried fish. And finally we ended the tour with my favorite part. We were taken to a coffee farm up in the mountains where we picked and made our own coffee. It was a full day experience and I nightly recommend this to anyone who wants to see some areas outside of Medellin. Our guide memo was great and the next day he gave us a tour of Comuna 13 and Guatape. Great experience

I had an amazing time in Medellin 🇨🇴 Guillermo took us to one of the residence of Pablo Escobar & my friends and I loved it. Guillermo was very reliable and even waited for us to return us back to the hotel. I recommend his services to anyone in the area.

Our private tour was very good . And educational to us we felt safe on the tour all day . Memo is a great tour guide he knows a lot.

My friend Shawn and I spent several days in Medellin and Memo was our guide and a good friend for the whole time. We decided we wanted to see Medellin through a locals lens so in addition to showing us an abbreviated Pablo tour plus Communa 13 Memo also took is to an Athletico National futbol game...we met the ex-coach Santiago Escobar (amazing back story if you google it) and a local radio announcer for the team. Memo also took us through the neighborhood he grew up in and showed us a little bit of medellin life we never would have seen without his guidance. He took us through Provenza and kept us out of trouble in Poblado :) Memo is a great guy and we would not have had the 6 star trip we had without his guidance and willingness to go off schedule and show us more of the insiders view of the city. I’m sure I will be back and Memo will be the first person I contact when that trip gets scheduled...well, I might call the roadrunner at the same time ;)
