Magnificent! If you’re planning on visiting Santa Fe de Antioquia, which you definitely should, this is the tour for you! Our guide, Laura, was outstanding! She was very knowledgeable, polite, caring, and ensured that we made the most of our time in Santa Fe! We wholeheartedly recommend her and this tour!

Erika was so delightful. She picked me up and understood exactly what I wanted to do and my dietary restrictions, and catered to eat. We packed in so many native fruits, I lost count. I ate like a Paisa and enjoyed the outing. Tons of fun facts packed in tour. Treat yourself by treating your stomach to a culinary adventure.

We had a great experience visiting a coffee farm and exploring the town of Guatape. Sara was our guide and she was exceptional! She was very knowledgeable and ensured we got everything in despite the unpredictable weather! She even found time for us to squeeze in a local petting zoo for the kids. This was a great day trip for Medellin. We had two young kids with us, and Sara made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable time and was very flexible. The family at the coffee farm were extremely friendly and inviting. We had a lot of fun picking the coffee and drinking it later. The town is very colorful, with a lot to explore. We didn’t climb the rock because of the kids, but we still were able to get some great pics and tour the area. This is a great day tour from Medellin. I highly recommend this tour and also highly recommend Sara as a guide!

My wife and I spent an awesome day in Guatape climbing the rock, visiting the town, and then paragliding over the waterfalls. Erika did an excellent job monitoring the weather and adjusting our sequence of activities to ensure we were able to fly. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke perfect english. She took us to local shops and knew many of the local vendors. We enjoyed her so much that we booked her the next day to do a city and cable car tour, which was equally as enjoyable. She has 7 years' experience, and it showed.

The experience was great. The pick up was punctual. On the way to the venue the guide Sara shared with us interesting things about the Medellin, it's surroundings and Colombia in general, with personal details. The farm activity was even more than I expected, all as advertised: harvesting (and not only cacao), roastind, grinding, mixing the flavors and forming our proper chocolate bars. Many thanks to the hosts. I recommend.

My guide daniel was phenomenal. Very sweet attentive and caring! Made the experience way better! The hike up was alil bit of a workout I suggest a water bottle. The paragliding itself not actually scary it was beautiful and so peaceful and amazing a must do!

We had a fantastic time at this private tour of Piedra del Penol, Guatape and a coffee plantation. The 700-odd steps to the top of the rock are steep but certainly doable and the views from the top are worth the climb. Guatape is a touristy town that appears to be straight out of the movie Encanto and offers many Insta-worthy photo opportunities. We enjoyed going into some of the artists' workshops in the town and watching them work. The highlight of the tour was the visit to the coffee plantation, where we not only learnt about the process but were able to participate in some of the steps, like picking beans from the plants and passing them through the sorting machine. This was our second trip with Medellin Day Tours and we specifically asked for the amazing Sarah as our guide as we really enjoyed the horse-riding tour with her last week. She is very knowledgeable about the area, passionate about showcasing Colombia to tourists and has a great sense of humour. She timed the itinerary well, so we could climb Piedra del Penol and visit Guatape before the bus crowds arrived. This long day tour was very enjoyable and memorable for us largely due to Sarah being our guide.

This tour was fantastic! The opportunity to see Guatape, climb the rock, taste tons of fresh fruit from the market and tour a coffee farm all in one day was such a great use of our limited time in Medellin. The rock itself was a little touristy, but it was fun to see. However the information we got from Sarah about the history of the rock, surrounding communities, and Colombia in general was far above and beyond expectations. I've been on several tours across many different countries and I must say Sarah may be the best guide I've ever had. We cannot recommend this tour or Sarah highly enough!

Colombia became my 47th country that I have visited and this tour led was one of the best I've taken over my many years of travel. Yes, climbing Guatapé Rock is touristy, but it was so much fun. The town of Guatapé was magical and the small family run coffee farm was not only informative, but the coffee was terrific and it felt great to buy directly from the farmer/producer. But what took this tour to the stratosphere was our exceptional guide Erika. Her knowledge of the region and the history of her country to the present day was exceptional. Erika’s English communication skills were outstanding and I can’t begin to express how her presence helped make our trip so special.

Amazing experience to La Piedra, Gatape and the coffee plantation. Laura, our guide, way super helpful and knowledgeable. Very nice presence and having the private car was the best! Laura even had drawings of the location where each fruit grew and the plants it grows from - very cool addition:)

We had the best day on this tour. Laura took us around the key sites and was really knowledgeable. The quad biking was so much fun.
