Had an amazing tour visiting the most important sites related to Pablo Escobar and Comuna 13. The guide, Jaime, was amazing as he provided us with insights and gave us the chance to connect with locals. Jaime truly enjoys guiding and we were absolutely amazed. I would definitely recommend this tour and Jaime as a guide!!

Jaime is the BEST tour guide!!!!! He thoroughly and patiently explained the entire history of Pablo Escobar (family life, cocaine business, bombings, extradition) while showing us the relevant places in Medellin! We felt incredibly safe with his help and knowledge. Jaime took us to the gravesites of Pablo Escobar, Griselda, and others. We visited the memorial for victims of the bombings. We went to a small museum with a collection of photos and newspapers from that era. We even saw the iconic rooftop where Pablo was killed. Jaime has spent years researching and understanding these events to accurately portray Colombia’s history. We also enjoyed the BEST EMPANADAS of our lives! I’m still dreaming of these!!!!! These were handmade, fresh and hot, bursting with flavor (garlic sauce, homemade hot sauces, fresh guacamole) made by a woman in Comuna 13! We enjoyed obleo completo dessert (wafer with sweet toppings) and explored the intricate maze of Comuna 13 neighborhood. The cable car ride offered amazing views of the entire city and densely populated housing below. Jaime is the best - a true friend in Medellin for life

The tour was truly an amazing experience. Our guide was Jaime and he was so knowledgeable. I learned so much in so little time. Jaime was truly one of a kind. Someone who keeps the tour lively and always has something to say. With how detailed and informative he was I feel like I could now host a tour of my own. He gave great insight of how the people of Columbia view Pablo Escobar, both the good and the bad, he presents you with all of the information and allows you to form your own opinion. He also knows the best spots to eat/party. The empanadas he showed us in Comuna 13 were some of the best I’ve ever had and for as cheap as can be. This trip would not have been as amazing if it wasn’t for our amazing tour guide.

Excellent tour option for it’s category and well worth the price! The company was generally helpful and I was able to get recommendations for food even prior to arriving to Colombia. For the actual tour, we had Jaime as our tour guide and he was absolutely AMAZING at keeping us involved. My wife went on the tour but wasn’t as interested in the story as I was prior, but Jaime was so good even she was into it midway through the tour. He was very helpful with other questions we had as well. For a long tour it really goes by quick yet covers a lot. Highly recommended and would go on it again with friends who I’m already recommending.
