Incredible day for me and my daughter
Yuly was an amazing guide and made the day for me and my daughter truly special. Spending time on the family farm was incredible. We enjoyed learning about all of the plants, animals, and the entire chocolate making process. Highly recommend this activity for young families and those generally curious about chocolate.

          Loved the Tour
Love the tour and I would do it again! The tour guide was awesome! Thank you Carlos! Make sure you bring your walking shoes but it's not bad. Carlos has a few stops along the way so you can take pictures and rest up a bit. The weather was lovely and the people were friendly.

          Great tour, very unique
We had a private tour of the farm, Oscar throughly explained everything and answered all our questions about anything and everything. The family at the farm were lovely and extremely friendly. The experience was extremely unique picking the cacao beans and processing them, we also tried other fruits on the farm. I’d highly recommend the experience to anyone who is interested in the origin of chocolate.

Fantastic Coffee Tour and coffee at a bargain price
Our tour was fantastic! Our tour guide Yuly was on time, excellent driver, very, very informative and spoke perfect English which helped put us at ease to enjoy our tour. The farm was beautiful, picturesque and the owner was very welcoming. We sampled coffee made with4 different machines; all excellent! Spent dinner last night telling our gathering of 18 people how wonderful the whole experience was.

          Private tour
I highly recommend booking a tour with this company. Henry picked us up from the hotel promptly and took us on a private tour to the cable cars and Comuna 13. The overall experience was exceptional, I would rate it 10/10.

          Incredible Tour!!
This was an absolutely amazing tour! We tasted fresh coffee made through multiple different methods and learned so much during the tasting. We got to walk all around the farm, which had incredible views, and pick the coffee beans ourselves! We were able to see the entire process of their coffee growing and production. The tour was beautiful, fun, and interesting. Antonio the owner and our tour guide Henry were both so kind, knowledgeable, and wonderful people! I couldn’t recommend them enough. This is a must do if you are visiting Medellín!

          Medellin is a beautiful city!
Juan was very knowledgeable and flexible. The story of Comuna 13 is both sad and a triumph. It was rainy and we had to make some adjustments, but everyone was happy with how the day ended. Good job, Juan.

          This tour is a must
Simply put, AMAZING! If you come to Colombia you have got to get a tour with Oscar. We did a private tour and it was well worth it. After signing up Oscar was very communicative with the schedule of events and the meet up. He showed us all the interesting places and shared alot of information and insight about the city that you wouldn't find reading online etc. For me the highlight was the fruit market portion of the tour. Lots of new fruits to try and they were great. Overall 10/10! Kudos to Oscar for opening up medellin and allowing us to have a true feeling for the city.

          Excellent Experience!
First time coffee farm experience. Everything was exceptional, easy drive from the city, Julio’s knowledge about coffee growing, visiting the local farm, meeting the lovely owners, hands-on picking the coffee and the coffee tastings. Also, appreciated Julio’s historical insights about Medellin and Colunbia. Highly recommend!!

Oscar was a fantastic guide. I am glad I did a private tour - I learned so much, not only about the history of Medellin and its neighborhoods but what street art symbolizes and represents memories and wishes. Comna 13 in particular was very busy with large tour groups but Oscar avoided the crowded time and took me through the area in a way that I could see its residential life as well.

          The Highlight of our Vacation
This private tour of a local coffee farm was a highlight of our trip to Medellin, Colombia! The farm is only ~ 30 minutes south of the city (Saboneta) and easy to access. You learn about the entire process of coffee bean cultivation - from seed to sprout - and get to enjoy their freshly roasted coffee through a variety of preparations that show you how the product changes depending on its preparation (drip vs. french press, etc.) Our guide Yuly was amazing. She is extremely personable and has great enthusiasm for what she does. Her English speaking ability is nearly perfect as she has has lived in the USA, and has a background in international business.

          Excellent chocolate tour
We had an outstanding time on the chocolate tour. Oscar was a great coordinator and tour guide….as well as Sandra and her mom. It was super interesting and we both enjoyed our time at the farm.

Oscar is a warm host who has created an itinerary that allows guests to experience many of the highlights outside of Medellin in a single day. During the tour he shared so much history and knowledge about Medellin and each of the locations that we visited. We really learned a lot from him over the course of the day. We also appreciated that the group size is kept small, allowing us to connect with Oscar and the other guests. All those visiting Medellin should definitely book this experience!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I don’t even know where to start. from the beginning oscar picked us up at our place and got straight to the point, he taught us history about el peñon de guatape and even guatape the town itself. After we climbed the rock we explored the town, ate at an amazing traditional restaurant, and he even showed us cool hidden spots to take pictures. The coffee farm was also a fun experience! Not once did oscar made us feel bored, he knows his history and is a very nice & outgoing person. I highly recommend this experience and his other ones if you’re in Medellin

This is a great package tour of Guatape + the colorful town nearby (Zocalos) + a coffee farm tour that is located in the lush greenery of Colombia's mountains. The private van is really comfortable, and Oscar is very knowledgable, providing information at each point along the tour that feels necessary. While Guatape was a wonderful sight to behold, it did feel quite touristy, so the intimate nature of the coffee farm tour was the perfect contrast.

This was probably one of the best tours I have done in Colombia and highly recommend it. It had a bit of history, food, outdoor adventure hiking, educational learning and most of all was just a fun experience overall. Yuli was a very knowledgeable guide and took her time to explain everything from the history of Guatape to the coffee making process. The tour included a trip to climb the Guatape rock, a visit to a local market for fruit tasting, a city tour around Guatape area, and best of all a visit to a small local coffee plantation to pick coffee and see the entire process of how it goes from seed to your morning cup. I would highly recommend this private tour to anyone thinking of doing this tour and highly recommend Yuli as a guide.

My boyfriend and I had a blast on this trip. We wanted to visit the piedra de penol, but also visit a coffee farm and were having a hard time finding a trip that combined both. So glad I finally came across this trip. So worth it for the money and Sara was a wonderful guide. She was very informative and kind and really took her time to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. She made the fruit tasting, coffee farm, piedra de penol, lunch, and walking through Guatape one of our favorite days that we had during our 10 day trip in Colombia!

Hola Morgan !! I'm glad to know that you could finally find everything in one day, and with us. For my tourists 90% of the time is their first time in the city and its surroundings, and even if it is not, for me it is vital that you can take the time and enjoy it so much, that you want to return, that you want to recommend us, that you put us on your favorite list of your trip through our country!! Thank you for having fun with everything planned, for appreciating every detail of the tour. It was a very special day, a pleasure to share with you.

This tour was wonderful! If you’re looking for a local tour of Guatape, look no further!
Oscar was the best tour guide. He picked us up from the hotel, drove us about an hour and a half to Guatape all the while explaining the rich history and culture of the country and the specific areas we were driving through. He answered all the random questions we had and he got us tickets to climb to the top of the rock, made lunch arrangements (made sure I had a vegetarian option at the restaurant) and walked us around Guatape’s vibrant streets. We then went to a coffee farm, picked coffee beans, and learned about the entire process from shelling, to drying, roasting, and bagging. We topped off the day with a cup of coffee and some delicious coffee bean chocolate made on the farm. Let me just say that the opportunity to meet the family that owns and works the field was such a personal touch. They’re lovely people who welcomed us with huge smiles on their faces (and their friendly dogs’ faces too!).

We were tight on time as we had a flight to catch at 8pm, and Oscar graciously dropped us off right on time at the airport on the way back.

In summary, if you’re looking for a Guatape tour with a local feel, look no further! I can’t say enough how fantastic Oscar was!

The adventure started as soon as we booked the tour. Oscar was so attentive to us and communicated with us about everything. He came and picked us up and was right on time in a very nice and clean car. Oscar made a seemingless mundane drive to the coffee farm exciting as he shared the history of Colombia and explained things as we passed them. His passion for what he does will show as soon as you meet him and we promise you won’t regret booking with him.

        Espectacular! Spectacular!

There are many positive adjectives for the coffee plantation and Gautape experience with Oscar. At the very start Oscar took an interest in us as travelers making the experience feel tailored. From stops to learn about and taste local fruits, to stopping in the city to recount Guatape history, Oscar amazed at every turn.

In visiting the coffee plantation we got first hand experience in the process, with Oscar once again showing his wealth of knowledge. Learning the possess gives one a good understanding of the love it takes for coffee making. In Guatape we had plenty of time to take in the glorious sights never feeling rushed or burdensome to Oscar. The Coffee plantation and Guatape tour experience led us to request more tour experiences with Oscar knowing he would not disappoint.

From the moment Sara picked us up to the moment she dropped us off the experience was a five star! She was very knowledgeable about the region and was able to answer our plethora of questions. The conversations were always fluid and genuine which demonstrates their passion for what they do.
Our experience at the coffee farm was one in a lifetime and meeting Miller and his family was a true pleasure. We were fully immersed in the entire coffee making process and learned so much through Sara’s and Miller’s knowledge.
Climbing the rock at Guatape and walking around town was another amazing experience.
I would highly recommend this tour with Oscar & Sara to anyone looking to learn more about Colombia. They also offer other tours and we wish we would have booked a tour we had the following day with them instead of the other tour operators. If you’re thinking of booking with Oscar M and Sara do it now, you will not be disappointed!

Christian & friends! From the moment I met you to the moment we said goodbye until the next time was awesome. I appreciate all details about our day, it gives a better idea who is thinking about taking this experience. It feels so good to read you, it demonstrates you really enjoyed everything, stories, knowledge, passions, landscapes, people and experiences. Thousand and a thousand thanks, each word means a lot to us. Not everyone is highlighting your job and telling you that they prefer you after comparing with others, so, thank you so much, it means it was a perfect tour, and believe me, it was a perfect day for me too. At the end of the day my face hurt from laughing so much, and I'm not exaggerating! Thanks for that, I really enjoyed it. Take care of yourself

We knew we were going to like Oscar as soon as he walked up to us! Greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome.

He asked about who were were, where we were from and by his non-threatening asking about us he connected our experience to each of us. Individual concern about each person enjoying the experience!

The fruit tasting was amazing! We probably tried 10 different fruits…each of us liked a few different ones and he explained what they were like or what they might taste like to us.

On the Rock…he made sure everyone was going okay and very professionally just made sure that we were climbing “ok” with out at all being demeaning. He did not make anyone feel bad about the rest That the slower members needed getting to the top.

Lunch! Wow! He took us to an amazing place! Food was simple excellent.

Coffee Plantation stop was the best part as he and the host farmer really explains the process…2.5 years in the making…we picked beans and they walked us the through the experience and the farmer and guide and the five of us had freshly dried and roasted coffee in both a pour over style and French roast. Great coffee! We ended up buying about 20 bags for family and friends back home in the states!

Overall if I could give Oscar the experience “6” stars I would! It was that good and you’d simply be missing out if you did not do this tour with Oscar.
