This tour was a vibe. The tour guide was amazing and didn’t rush anything. Beautiful experience.The food was amazing. I am definitely going back. The driver of the boat and his assistant were great. Thanks You for a wonderful time. Tour guide always made sure we treated fair and right.

Would recommend as an alternative to beach and city activities. Gorgeous ride to and from with great service from both the driver and the guide. Truly enjoyed our experience with Vanessa and Antonio. Their kindness and guidance was impeccable

It was nice. I went SOLO, still enjoyable. The island prices are like 3x for drinks and food. I’d bring my own drinks if possible but everything else was amazing. David was awesome

Many opportunities for photos as well as relaxing. We opted to go to the aquarium instead of snorkeling, and that was 40 mil pesos but it was worth it. The food provided was good as well. Great value for the price!

Save yourself the time and money, there are much much better tours and things to do in Cartagena than coming to this tourist trap. It was overcrowded for a maximum 9x9ft mud hole. The guide was very hands off only briefly mentioning in Spanish that when we got to the volcano there would be 4 optional services and the English translation being incomprehensible. After getting off the bus there are men harassing you to take your towel, shoes, and phone like it’s policy rather than optional for a fee they come to collect at the end. While getting into the mud hole there are multiple men whose job it is to “massage you” but no one in my party wanted these men touching us so we declined as soon as they were reaching up to us while coming down the ladder. Due to declining their services they were letting other people in first and making us wait longer to go in even though there was a limited amount of time for this bus stop. At the very end of the mud portion when you go rinse off in water there are women with small buckets of water trying to grab you to pour water on you for a fee. Overall everyone there is very predatory of tourists. The second bus stop was not much better. The tour guide did not let us know how long we’d be there and just stayed in the back of the establishment talking with workers there. The pool and drinks themselves were good but something you could find yourself without paying to be taken there. Again, would avoid this tour at all costs.

By far the worst experience ever. I did four different activities in Cartagena and this is the worst of all. Let’s start from the beginning It was a 40 min ride to the volcano While on the volcano the lady tour guide mentions that this place is founded by 4 families that make their money by asking for tips. 5 mil equivalent to almost a 1.50 in USD for each service 1. Massages by old men in the mud. 2. Men who hold your towel and shoes 3. People charge you for taking a pic 4. Women at the lagoon that will rinse you to make the mud come off faster Yes the tour guide mentions it is voluntary. But that’s not how it seems when we get there. It’s like the tour guide is working with them as well She only tells us to bring our shoes and towels and phones with us and we can leave the rest on the bus. We get to the entrance of the volcano and there is guy who is like let me get your towel u can’t take it upstairs. I said no thank you. He’s like well you can’t bring the towel upstairs and I’m like I can hang it there He’s like take it back to your bus. I go back to the bus and the tour guide is like no u can’t bring it inside. ( I’m like what the ???? Are you guys working together? This moment I knew this whole tour was a scam ) He told me to bring it back and she’s like ok. I go up the volcano it was dangerous steps not safe made out of wood. We get to the top and there’s a guy asking for your shoes. I said no thank you hes like you can’t leave them here they might steal it. WHO IS GOING TO STEAL IT ?? Im with my group of friends no one is going to unless it’s them!!!!! I held on to my shoes and left them at the edge in a corner. ( they were fine at the end except they ended up with mud because I was holding it with my hands and the mud came off easily after) I’m with my phone water protector and I’m like I can take pics in the mud with my phone. The guy is like give me your phone u can’t come inside with that. So what is it that I can do ???? I should’ve just left my phone in the bus. Ridiculous at this point. My friends are in the front so I join them and two girls start going down and they did not want to be touch by this old man. He clearly got upset and made other people go in front of us. We didn’t go until like 5 other people went ahead of us. In the mud you couldn’t do anything but float. If u did not know how to control it you would go forward. It was crowded. Too many people men around you trying to massage you. People in their couldn’t even enjoy it because of all this nasty men trying to touch us women. We lasted around 3 minutes when it was suppose to be like 15 mins. We get out go down these dangerous stairs again. We get to the lagoon and there’s a group of woman wanting to rinse us. Mind you we are a group of 10 women. We can clean ourselves. They start complaining that they cleaned the lagoon for us and that we are not even letting them clean us. I understand this is the way they make their money but it is so rude and aggressive the way they ask for tips. We finally get to the meeting location and the tour lady is there hanging with the locals. My friend starts asking why the lady’s started saying in Spanish . And I begin to tell her the tour lady hears gets up and she’s like let’s go. We leave get in the bus and they take us to the lunch spot which was cool. They had a pool and a beach across the food location. The drinks in that place are so watered down. I did not even get any type of drunk. Waste of money tbh. We were forced out of the kitchen because they had to clean for the next group. They drop off us to our drop off spot. End of trip. Horrible never again. The locals force the shoes out of my friends who only spoke English. The other families we was with were arguing with the locals because of how much was being charged to them after. The locals know who received what service so good luck tryna escape. The bus driver was rude as well. He was like don’t get my bus dirty. What is the point of a mud tour then???

If you are trying to decide who to book this tour with, you have come to the right spot! Our tour guide was David, he was so patient and sweet! He explained everything thoroughly to us. He knew a little English, so that was helpful. Bus picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel at the end. Air conditioned bus and very clean. We got there earlier than the other buses so that was a plus for us. After the mud bath, we went to a beautiful hotel for lunch with a pool and beach on the outside . The food was amazing, beautiful ambiance. LOVE LOVE LOVE THE EXPERIENCE.

Amazing…. Perfect staff had such a fun time. Would recommend for sure! We did everything they said, the best is when you get to the islands you are taken care of by the company every step of the way!

Personally, I had a great time. It was a completely different experience than I’m used to. My boyfriend and I walked up to the meet up spot, our representatives were very helpful. I opted for the Spanish tour guide so I could practice my Spanish, but they were both bilingual which was great. My boyfriend had extreme sunburn on his forehead and the mud was able to help it peel right off and his forehead was super smooth after! If you don’t mind people being in your personal space, this is a great experience and I would do it again!

Amazing and wonderfully organized experience to the mud baths. Vanessa was great, and the hotel arena lunch and beach was the cherry on top of everything. I highly recommend this tour

The Best day!!! It is really fun, it’s going to be long so you have to be mentally prepared to spend the whole day, although, is totally worth it, there are some sellers at the end of the trip, but nothing you haven’t seen before

The trip itself was nice, expect to be there a short time at the actual mud experience. It is a tourist attraction and it’s a well-oiled machine, you’re in and out in like 5-10 min. Most of the time was at the beach hotel afterwards which was beautiful (also had a pool). Now about the mud-trip itself: prepare to be charged for everything when you do get there! To hold your towel at the entrance and shoes, to hold your phone, for another person to take pictures, to help you out of the mud volcano, a massage, and to be cleaned up. It’s 5,000 each service. (This is not from the tour itself, it’s the place itself). They did warn us about this before we left the bus, so bring change. The amount they give you for the tour at the hotel won’t be the full amount for the meal you choose most times, so expect to also bring extra money (or your card) for that. I did enjoy this, it was an experience. Would totally recommend.
