There was also a lovely stop for a bite to eat overlooking a beautiful beach. Equipment was good and there was a good amount of staff support. It was a hit with my 20 and 17 year old boys and a great way to cool off from The heat of Cartagena. Lunch stopover was a welcome break with great food and a fantastic view of the ocean from the restaurant on the hill. Our travel coordinator Lillian made over visit very comfortable and seamless. This place has the potential to ruin your entire time abroad. The short version of this review: don’t do it.
We reserved time with this company before leaving NYC and we’re excited about the prospect of adventure. During the morning of the excursion, I received numerous WhatsApp messages and calls as early as 9AM telling us we weren’t going to be able to make it based on where we chose to stay (not that this was any of their business). We were supposed to be there at noon but their manager, Lillian, clearly wasn’t interested in our group’s attendance and kept trying to dissuade us from coming. We got to the meeting point early to meet their driver and drove another hour to get to their “business”. As SOON as we got out of the van, Lillian was recording us. She had already decided we were criminals, vagabonds and degenerates. (Literally about to cry writing this). Nevertheless, she lied about marijuana usage and alcohol usage based on her perception. She called the owner who substantiated her claims despite not being there. She said her driver called her ahead and said we were smoking and drinking—we were not and he also denied these claims. We have video evidence of our very sober behavior and the driver repeatedly saying “no fumar” and saying he never said this. (We have this on video). This was disappointing but not surprising.
When you have a no refund policy, I guess you don’t have to provide the actual service. Both Lillian and the owner are despicable. He’s deleting any negative reviews because he’s guilty of racism.

Still not accepting responsibility for your actions. You and your friends were intoxicated. You used drugs and alcohol in the presence of my employees. We refused you service for your own safety and nothing more. Next time you are renting a motor vehicle show up sober.

This was an alright experience, I wouldn't do it again though.
The ATV driving wasn't what we had hoped for. You basically drive on a normal road most the time and go relatively slow. We had really hoped for a more exciting drive.
Our guide was extremely nice though.... At least while he was trying to get tipped more.
The thing that really frustrated us was while we were on the tour and they wanted tips they were very nice to us. Then when we were supposed to be taken back to our hotel at the end of the night the driver literally tried dropping us off on side of the street in the middle of nowhere. You could tell that he didn't want to deal with rush hour traffic so he was basically like, "Hey, get out here and find a taxi." We tried explaining to him that our tour is supposed to take us back to the hotel or at least the city center and we had no clue where we were so he can't just drop us off on a sketchy dark raod.
We WhatsApp messaged the tour operator and our guide explaining what the driver was doing. You could see they read our message, but didn't even bother to respond and still never have to this day. It's like once they all got their money they didn't care at all what was being done to us.
I would try to find a different tour operator for something like this.

So the guide was extremely nice to you but you gave us a 1 star because you didn't get dropped at your hotel? If you read the description of the tour you would know that we pickup and drop off at the San Pedro church in the city center. It's inside the walled city and completely secure. Arguing with the driver to convince him to do otherwise does not get you dropped at your hotel. If we actually dropped people off on the side of the road we would have a ton of negative reviews about it. Instead it's just you.

Loved it . Came with transportation, bottle of water , coconut drink . We bought fresh seafood

My fiancé and I had a fantastic time exploring the beaches of Cartagena. It’s beginner friendly while also giving you the opportunity to go fast and have a lot of fun.
I also recommend bringing cash so you can enjoy some delicious locally caught seafood and local sellers.
Geussepe was a great tour guide, incredible friendly, patient and an amazing photographer

I really loved this tour, from the moment we met our bus driver to transfer us to the ATV office, it was a vibe! The music was good & he gave us some good knowledge on Cartagena.
Once we arrived at the ATV office we were greeted by the team who prepared us for the tour. A brief safety video showed us what to expect on the tour. We got our helmets on, mounted the ATV’s & had a little practice run around the car park of the property.
We then headed off onto the dirt track & made our way to the most beautiful views. There were around 3 stops in total, each one was breathtaking. The 2 crew members were exceptional, kind & polite. They really made sure we were safe at all times.
Once we arrived at the beach we were able to literally zoom off & around, the adrenaline was epic! On route back we stopped off for some lunch (included) however make sure you bring cash for extras like the fresh Lobster & Prawns that the locals were preparing! This tour is a must do when in Cartagena, it’s fun & a great way to see some amazing views that the city has to offer.

I were in Cartagena with my family 2 years ago. We stayed at the Regata Hotel, which is beautiful and pleasant for your stay as it is located by the sea.
I go every 2 or 3 years
We visited places
the Rosario Islands,
San Felipe Castle and Baru.
You can take a boat to visit other islands
You can walk through the streets.
You can't go to the sea at night.
You can go out and party.
Their typical food is fish.
I love Cartagena, it's beautiful and one of my favorite places.
There are many restaurants
There are many beaches
there is a pool
There is a museum
I recommend visiting this city and taking yo You the Best memory of having gone through a part of Colombia

My fiance and I had a blast. Some amazing photos also. The easy to shift by push bottom ATVS drove well with no issues. I would recommend not eating the shrimp sold at the beach, but that was no fault of the company. The guides we really really kind and my fiance never felt pressured to go faster than she was comfortable with. She loved it.

Amazing ATV experience! They start off with making sure you understand all safety necessities while keeping it fun. The instructor gives perfect instructions on how to operate the ATV. It’s an amazing ride on 2 beaches that you would never get the chance to experience without them. Amazing views!!! Delicious food (seafood), coconut water and a massage at the beach. This was a perfect way to start the day/explore Cartagena.

It was mostly fun. Why the 3 stars? There is much room for improvement.
I have no problem with mandatory helmet policy. My problem was with the helmets themselves. Beyond disgusting! They were worn, torn, rusted but the worse was the smell of feet. Had I know this ahead of time we would have brought our own doo rags or bandanas. I couldn’t wait for the tour to be over to go wash my hair.
The ATVs themselves have seen many trails. My daughter’s ATV kept turning off and not until the end of the tour before our return did they offer to change it with one of the guides.
Also, there is a part of the tour where you stop for a provided snack of plantains. Unfortunately that stop was more like an ambush of vendors. They sat us at a table and the bombarding began. The problem is they do not take “no, thank you” for an answer. It became beyond harassment, which is uncomfortable and resulted in a not pleasant experience.
I understand the “please support the economy” but they too need to understand we are staying in your city in a hotel (supporting the economy), we eat out every day (supporting the economy), we are paying for tours (supporting the economy), we purchased local hand made items ( supporting the economy)…. What more do they want??
Lastly, you’ll discover they do not drive well in Cartagena but the driver that picked us up gets the award for the worse driver in the city. At one point I thought we were going to slam into a truck. Thank goodness his breaks were working optimally.
Oh, the arepa they gave at the end was one of the best I had in Cartagena.

Beach vendors are a part of Cartagena culture. It's unavoidable. Just smile and say no thank you.

Amazing experience! Great staff that is friendly and patient. They care about safety and making sure you have fun and are safe. Highly recommend and bring some cash whether pesos or dollars to buy seafood from Waldo the vendor who sells freshly caught in addition to your complimentary lunch. Fantastic time!

Yes! My 16 y/o brought his drivers license with him and was able to drive by himself. We have ATV’d quite a bit across the world but this had to be our most fun experience. We really enjoyed driving in the beach, great guide!!
