Excellent start to our vacation. Carlos arrived promptly at our hotel and we enjoyed the morning trying some of the delicious local street food. We had a wonderful time.

It was my husband and I's first private tour ever, and we had an amazing time with Alberto as our tour guide in Cartagena! We met Alberto at the very end of the port exit. It took us about 15 minutes to walk from our cruise ship (Emerald Princess) to the port exit. It was easy to spot Alberto from the crowd of locals waiting at the exit since he had my name written down on a big poster. The 3 of us rode a roundtrip taxi to the Walled City. Alberto was friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and easy to understand. He showed us around the Walled City for about 3.5 hours and Gatsemani area about 0.5 hours. We enjoyed every moment with Alberto- from the food to the historical sites. The shrimp cocktail was my favorite street food- it was so flavorful! Overall, we highly recommend Alberto as your private tour guide! You will leave Cartegena with a satisfied stomach and experience.

This tour was amazing all thanks to our exceptional tour guide Arthur. If you do this tour, you must request him because our experience was just beyond expectations. Not only is Arthur very knowledgeable about the city, he goes above and beyond to give you the best time and show you his beautiful city. My brother's and I had a great tour of walking the old city, beautiful views at La Popa, and a authentic experience at the local market. Thank you again Arthur and hope to see you soon!

Grand Colombian Tours did a very good job with my transportation from the Cartagena airport to my hotel in Boca Grande. They communicated very well the day before my flight when I got there, I contacted them and they were able to come meet me very quickly. In fact, my flight arrived earlier and they were able to adjust to pick me up earlier. The driver communicated with me on where to meet him and he was very helpful with advice on Cartagena on my way to the airport. I plan to use them again from my hotel back to the Cartagena airport when it’s time to leave.

Excellent experience. The driver was very accommodating. And gave great information to make contact with him upon arrival. I would definitely use them again on my next trip.

We completed the free walking tour round with our lovely host Pedro. His English was fantastic and was so knowledgeable and proud of Cartagena - he was a pleasure to listen to! He also gave us great advice about prices for local shops etc as visitors to Colombia, which was particularly useful. Thanks Pedro! 10/10 recommend this ‘free’ tour - although it should be noted they do strongly suggest tipping at the end, approx 50k per person.

My husband and I will always remember the beauty of historic Cartagena, its colorful streets, delicious food, joyous music, and kind residents. This private tour was special on its own, but even more so, on account of our wonderful, Cartagena-born tour guide, Adalberto. He made this a unique, up-close-and-personal experience for us, not just because of all we learned from him about each site we visited (El Castillo, Getsemaní, etc.), but also because of all we gained from experiencing Cartagena through his kind, native soul.

Our tour was awesome. We were picked up from our hotel and returned back. The tour guide was very informative and showed use Cartegena. The trip includes a lot of walking so wear good shoes. Bring a backpack for all of your purchases.

We spent the day with Nica on our tour of Cartagena and La Popa. It was such an incredibly thorough tour. Nica shared so much of the rich history of the walled city. We enjoyed the beautiful art of Getsemani. We lucked up and were even able to walk around inside Teatro Heredia. Nica went above and beyond and gave us restaurant and rooftop recommendations beyond the regular touristy stuff. He is our new friend in Colombia ❤️

We booked the city tour and Cesar was our driver Arthur was our guide. We were picked up at the Dreams Karibana Resort on time and started the tour in Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas. It was hot and humid but Arthur brought an umbrella for us to use, he gave us great history of Cartagena and took a lot of pictures for us. Then we went to the Walled City and we had so much fun touring around!
