Got a very bad ear infection. The massage was lovely. Difficult waiting around for the bus. Very very hot and humid. Didn't enjoy stop at Indian tribe.

Laura from the tour company helped me get a way out to the Oceanarium, only reason I wanted to go out that way except to see some islands from the wonderful boat ride. Once on the island...the hotel's site, it was beach time for those interested and no where to walk for those who didn't want to "beach it". OCEANARIUM is small with netted off areas for a variety of sea life such as sharks and dolphins and my heart's desire....SEA TURTLES!! With the boat ride you are limited to time and due to the small venue, an hour is about right. There is a little concession stand for chips and drinks. A can of beer was 7,000 COP. No one speaks English, so the staff that do the "shows" talk in spanish and those like me can only watch and appreciate. Boat back to the hotel for lunch, then an hour until the fun boat ride ( it's fast and bumpy so hold onto your hats!!! I used a "buff" which kept my hair from blowing all over and wouldn't blow off). BE-WARE, when docking the traffic is horrible! The entrance fee for the Oceanarium is 40,000 for adult at time I post this, and is paid before you are allowed to leave the boat at it's pier.

Don’t go to Palenque, a village full of garbadge and starving dogs. Noone in the village Take care of the dogs that are suffering while the people don’t care.

Fantastic way to see the old city was able to see so much more as opposed to walking it, which I couldn't of done away segways are much easier on my old knees! Even saw a wedding in the square

A place with the right combination of sophistication and pure local ambiance. The whole day trip was perfect, from the organized pick up for the 1 hour boat trip to the island to the premises, the food and the very professional hosts. It’s certainly not for every budget, but every penny worths it. I hope we had more time to stay at least a couple of nights. That will be a good reason to come back.

We went with a group of about 15(ish) and spent a few hours here. The service was good, the food was good, but the views and the ability to have the whole place to ourselves and just jump in the water at our leisure was AMAZING! If you're spending time on the mainland in this region and there is a big group of you (or even just two of you!) I would highly recommend Isla Rosa. It's a beautiful getaway like you may have never seen before. Note: If you're not sleeping over, make sure you leave by 2ish (the waves back to the mainland get veryyyyy choppy if you leave after 2pm)
