A very interesting experience to hear the real side of how things were and not the dramatised version you see on Netflix. We were lucky to have Joe as our tour guide. This was an incredible experience which I would highly recommend. It was a tour across the city stopping at La Catedral, Communa 13 and Escobar’s grave site, taking in the various suburbs and points of interest by car. Joe, the tour guide was highly knowledgeable and knew all the stories from Medellin’s violent past, but just as much about how the city transformed and the community healed to make it a much more positive and safer place. It really brought it to life for me, someone who has read all the books and watched all the documentaries, movies and series! Pick up and drop pack to my hotel in El Poblado all went smoothly. Couldn’t have asked for more.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour to the hanging bridge and Santa Fe. Joe, my guide, customised my visit to my interests and abilities. He shared with me a wealth of information above and beyond the places we visited. We talked about society, culture, economy, the people, every day life in Colombia. The scenery on our way was beautiful; the mountains with hundreds of shades of green, the clouds, the roads. The hanging bridge over the river was a very pleasant walk. Our visit to Santa Fe involved strolling through the town, a very refreshing drink and a visit to the church. I returned back full and fulfilled. Definitely Joe played a great role in this and for this I am grateful.

Luis Alberto Gomez, my guide, was knowledgeable, kind, and engaging. I had a tight schedule, and he brought me to some of the highlights of Medellin. A highlight was the Plaza Botero and galleries and food stops near by.

We had an awesome day with our local guide Daniel at the Pablo Escobar tour; Danielle explained the rich history of Medellin while giving us insights into today's city and it's bright future. This is a must see tour to anybody visiting this colorful, complicated city. Two thumbs up👍

We really loved this day tour. Our tour guide, David, was awesome. He picked us up at the hotel early in the morning and we picked up some fresh coffee and pandebono and pan de yuca and started making the drive to Jardin. We had great conversation and the perfect musical soundtrack for the drive. We enjoyed the green scenic views of the mountains outside Medellin. Jardin is a cute town with colorful painted homes and clean streets to stroll down, we are glad we went. It's the perfect place to relax, have some fresh juice, and enjoy the ambiance. The cable car was a fun experience and the church in the central plaza is beautiful. After visiting Jardin we headed to the coffee finca (La Florida), which was also an impressive apiary, keeping many different species of bees (abejas). David made the experience so memorable, changing the vibes with classical music as we ascended a flower-lined dirt road up a dirt road to majestic views of mountain valleys lined with coffee and banana trees. The coffee experience started with some education and tasting, then we were off to pick beans. After picking beans, we learned how to process them for roasting and grinding. We loved the whole experience and left with a lot of honey and coffee to bring home. The lunch provided was really filling and delicious. I highly recommend this tour, it was one of the most fun days we had in our 2 week trip. Hanging out with David all day was like being with an old friend, hope we can meet again someday!
