Overview
Today, we will take a visit to a workshop of a local master for about 1h. Form him we will learn more stories of learning and appreciation of the value of calligraphy. Taking calligraphy is the best first step to understanding what is behind the Chinese characters. There will be many interesting things we can learn. How did the characters change? What is the typical things to write?
The masters will explain the basics of how to stand, hold the brush, suck up and control the ink on the paper.
Then we start with basic strokes and then go on to write characters and our Chinese names with a given sample by the teacher. And you can taking a personalized creation home for a memory. This will be a wonderful experience and great opportunity to penetrate into traditional Chinese art.
