We pick you up from your hotel and brings you to the adorable pandas, and more! Pandas are more then good-looking and cute, they are special! Join us to find out a full story of how do they live, why are they here and even funny things about these precious neighbour and treasure of human being!
After lunch we start the cooking class. In preparation of the cooking class, a drive takes us to a local market for ingredients and general understanding of Chinese cuisines when our lovely chef will join.
Once back to the beautiful private garden restaurant, it will be your show time! There’s great learning about Chinese cuisine culture and hands-on experience to prepare delicious dishes. Enjoying and sharing with each other what you have prepared for dinner is a perfect ending for the day!

Thrilled to have seen the pandas at chengdu research base but also to have a unique and fun experience learning about chengdu cuisine at the cooking class! I thought that it was really refreshing to have the cooking class in a very local outsoor chinese restaurant. Thanks flora for being such a joy in our tour!

We had Cecile as our tour guide who was on time to meet us at hotel. She was very welcoming and spoke English well. In the morning she took us to see the Pandas. She guided us to avoid the crowds which was great which allowed us to maximise our time whilst at the Panda Research Base. We learnt a lot about the research centre and how Pandas learn to survive in the wild.
Lunch time we visited a small noodle cafe where the locals eat. We had a bowl of a popular beef noodle soup which was tasty and cheap!
Then we spent some time walking through the park and visited the local market, followed by a cooking class. I was expecting the Sichuan cuisine for us to cook to be quite hot and spicy. But what we cooked was quite mild.
The day was filled with activities and before you know it the day had past.
Thank you Cecile for showing us around. We wish we had more time to explore more surroundings of Chengdu.
